Chapter Forty-Two
Chapter Forty-Two
Bella was stimulated by him to the point of climax. She quickly sank into the pool of desire and reached the orgasm that Levi created. Bella had no idea how sexy her current appearance was, her face turned red, her vision began to become blurry, her mind was like a blank piece of paper and she couldn't think of anything at all.
Levi smirked with amusement at Bella's expression, seemingly accustomed to his touch now. He recalled the first time Bella and he engaged in this act, back at that bar, fueled by alcohol, she was so enthusiastic and spirited, yet he could still see the concern and fear in her eyes. If Levi hadn't been sober and not inebriated, he certainly wouldn't have known that night was Bella's first time.
Thinking about this woman's first time with him, he couldn't help but smirk in satisfaction, but when he thought about Bella going out to dinner with Max tonight, a romantic dinner in a fancy restaurant, his smile faded.
"You seem very satisfied, don't you? While your husband is enjoying himself with your best friend, and you're enjoying yourself with your husband's friend. How does that feel?" Levi asked lightly.
Bella frowned at him, feeling comfortable from achieving pleasure but instantly displeased by his words.
"Why would you suddenly bring up Max?" Bella sensed Levi's discomfort despite his smile; she knew he wasn't happy.
Levi pushed her down and pressed onto her, lifting her hair with an unreadable expression.
"Why shouldn't I mention Max? You and Max are of the same kind, no different in any way, don't you see? The only difference is who betrayed first. Both you and Max make me both amused and disgusted. But I quite like it," he said cryptically.
Bella did not understand the meaning of Levi's words and did not understand why he suddenly said these things. Didn't he come here to have sex? Bella did not wonder why Levi chose the right time when Max was not at home to come here because she knew he sent someone to monitor her and Max's movements.
"What do you mean?" Bella frowned at him. Although she didn't know what he meant, she knew he didn't have good intentions.
Levi chuckled, "Are you pretending not to know, or are you genuinely clueless? Just tonight, you and Max had dinner together under romantic candlelight in a fancy restaurant. Once home, each of you has a lover to cuddle up to. I wonder, did you two not have time to do the deed after such a romantic dinner? Or did you simply not have the time?" he said, then laughed, his demeanor sinister and not at all joyful.
Levi's gaze at her felt chilling to Bella, she was just skeptical a moment ago and was about to console him, but now he truly angered her.
Seeing Bella remain silent, Levi's tone turned taunting, "Did I not speak the truth? Or are you afraid that Max will find out you lost your virginity to another man and that your husband's friend?"
“Have you said enough?" Bella looked up at Levi, speaking gently, her eyes seeming indifferent.
"Are you angry now? Don't get angry so quickly; we're still having fun," Levi shrugged and said.
But Levi's words made Bella no longer interested in this matter. She just gently pushed him away and got out of bed, put on her pajamas and looked at him for a while.
"You can leave now," Bella said to the man sitting on her bed, without any expression of dismissing him.
Levi smirked, thinking she would be angry and curse him like before, that would be more like her rather than this gentle and indifferent demeanor. "What's this? I satisfy you, and now you're dismissing me so coldly?" he said.
Bella gently smiled and sighed, "I'm not in the mood for this tonight; please leave. I want to sleep now," she concluded, pulling the man off the bed and directly pushing him out of the bedroom, then closing the door. She stood in the room, saying, "Before you leave, help me lock the door."
Levi stood in front of the bedroom door, frowning at being dismissed so abruptly and unreasonably. He looked down at his already stiff member, unrelieved, making his mood even worse. "What's this, you want me to leave?" He muttered softly, twisting the doorknob, but Bella had locked it from the inside, so no matter how hard he twisted, he couldn't open it.
Seeing Bella's complete silence inside, he became furious and slammed the door hard. "Bella, are you planning to lock me out here? What are you angry about? If anyone should be angry, it should be me! Open the door, Bella!" But no matter how much he created a ruckus outside, there was still silence from within, as if she didn't hear a thing.
After what seemed like a while, Bella noticed the lack of activity outside and the profound quietness, and only then did she breathe a sigh of relief. She was certain Levi had left; he wouldn't have the patience to wait for her to open the door.
Bella stared blankly at the ceiling, unsure of what she was thinking or what she should be thinking about. Levi's words were not entirely wrong; she had no reason to be angry with him, or rather, she wasn't angry about what he said.
"Disgusting, isn't it? We're all miserable beings, just looking out for ourselves, seeing who can hide the longest." Bella chuckled coldly into the void, knowing that Levi wasn't the kind of kind-hearted man he appeared to be on the surface.
Levi's glamorous exterior was a combination of wealth, looks, physique, and 'kindness and generosity.' Naturally, many women desired him; he was blessed with so much, yet he had never publicly acknowledged a girlfriend, nor had he ever been rumored to be involved with any woman.
These traits only heightened his allure, like the most beautiful flower being the one not belonging to anyone. Bella's first encounter was with Levi, and sometimes she found it hard to understand that meeting. Before knowing Levi, Bella had also heard about him. The articles all said that he was a very serious person in love and would not arbitrarily fall in love or have any relationship with anyone.
After that night, Bella didn't believe in those nonsense articles anymore. There's no way anyone can say that he's serious about love and won't arbitrarily start a relationship with someone who's not his girlfriend, but can make love the first time he meets a strange girl.
Therefore, it can be said that the wealthy often have many flaws, and the richer they are, the more twisted their thoughts and behaviors become, but along with that comes perfect camouflage. Bella wasn't sure if Levi was such a man, nor did she know if, besides her, he had any other relationships with women.
Bella wasn't bothered by that; on the contrary, she even thought that if Levi truly had a relationship with another woman and publicly acknowledged that relationship, their relationship wouldn't be easily discovered.
"Is he angry because Max and I went out to dinner tonight?" Bella thought back. As soon as Levi entered the house, he immediately talked about it to her. She didn't know why he mentioned it. Perhaps he was curious about her conversation with Max, but she didn't see the curiosity in his expression.
...
"Max, do you hate me now?" Pearl asked tearfully, clinging to Max's arm.
Max sighed. Earlier, she called him saying she had fallen down the stairs and wanted him to come immediately, making Max think she was seriously injured. But when he arrived, there was no injury at all, and despite her attempts to explain, he didn't want to listen. If not for Pearl's urgent call, he could have been enjoying the evening with his wife.
Max sat beside Pearl, his face weary, and sighed, "Haven't I reminded you many times already? Don't call me at night, Bella might suspect us."
Pearl felt uncomfortable when Max mentioned Bella; she hated feeling her like a third party intruding into their marriage. "She'll never find out, so you don't have to worry. If Bella truly suspected you, she would have reacted differently by now."
Max impatiently pulled Pearl's hand away and sighed. "Pearl, I'll say it once more. This is the last time I'm telling you. Don't call me, and don't bother me at night. Even if Bella suspects something, I still want to fulfill my duties as a husband."
Max didn't hide his intentions; he hadn't even had intercourse with Bella yet, so he felt extremely uncomfortable and frustrated.
Of course, Pearl understood what Max meant. She clenched her lips in frustration but didn't show it in front of Max. Pearl could clearly sense Max's changing thoughts and actions; he was slowly considering abandoning her and becoming a good husband to Bella.
But the issue wasn't serious enough yet, as Max was still sitting beside her. As long as she remained gentle, and understanding, and appeared to sympathize, Max would surely calm down and love her as before. Men are creatures driven by their lower halves, instinctively hunting and conquering, craving what they cannot have, like making love to Bella, an experience he had yet to taste, the flavor of his own wife.
