Chapter Three

CONNOR*

I shouldn't have turned around; I knew I was sporting a raging hard-on. I wasn't thinking straight at the moment, and instead of turning around to leave as I should do, I was rooted in place, unable to move. Even when Taylor got up to go to the bathroom, I still couldn't move until she passed me and watched her walk off. Then the time came for us to start high school, and Taylor's dad had pulled Wade and me aside. He said the time had come for us to let Taylor go so that she could make friends her own age. He also let us know that he isn't naive and had known Taylor was sneaking out at night to be with us all of those years. He told us we were good boys, but we were at the age that something like that was no longer acceptable. Wade and I were mortified, but we did as her dad had asked and cut all ties to Taylor. That first night was challenging as we locked the window and went to bed and heard Taylor tugging and then knocking on our window. She eventually left, though, and that started our parted ways in friendship, and even when she became a freshman, nothing was ever the same. Wade and I always watched her from afar like love-sick puppies, and when our Junior year in high school started, we both lost our virginity and have been sex gods ever since.

I put my helmet down and sat in my office chair, and thought of every possible thing I could that would get my cock to soften. I was not going to sit here and beat off at work. Then I thought of Taylor's dad and how he had looked down on Wade and me for years. I thought about Blaze and the company we have all worked so hard to build. I got up and walked out of my office just in time for Taylor to walk right into me. I dropped my helmet so that I could hold her up, or she would have fallen. Wade and I arrived at the bar earlier than usual and parked ourselves at the perfect table where we could see the door and have a good eye line for the women's bathroom. I hate to sound cocky, but Wade and I never have to work hard to grab a woman's attention. We usually sit here looking hot drink our beers, and the women come to us. We have several regulars, so what people think about us isn't entirely accurate; Wade and I don't do relationships. The women we hook up with don't seem to care and when they start to get clingy is when we sever ties completely. We haven't had a problem with any of our regulars getting clingy, maybe a few over the years. We have our fun, and then they go off and get married to someone else once they get to the point they want something more.

It wasn't until Tanner got married to Kaysen that Wade and I started to think that this life was beginning to get boring, though. So we don't hit the bars as often as we used to. I know one of these days, the right woman for me would walk through that door, and I would be hooked. The days of sleeping around to find the perfect woman would be over. The same goes for Wade; it just hasn't happened yet. Would it ever? Man, how I would love to cuddle with someone after a good fuck session, but I haven't met that woman yet.

Just as I was sitting there starting to feel sorry for myself, Taylor walked into the bar looking hot as hell. She still had on the tight black slacks she had on today but had changed into a strapless shirt that clung to her, showing off her perfectly sized breast. I looked over at Wade to see if he had seen her come in, but he was too busy flirting with the waitress that had brought us another round of beers.

Well, shit, I guess I'm in this alone. Do I say hi or sit here and act like I didn't see her? I watched Taylor walk up to a table of women that Wade and I had pegged as off-limits because they all had wedding bands on their fingers. When they all jumped up and excitedly praised her ring, I decided to leave Taylor alone. It wasn't until I saw her going to the bathroom that I thought she may have seen Wade and me because she walked right past our table that I decided to get up and say hi.

The whole encounter was awkward as shit. Taylor hadn't seen us, and I felt like a stalker as she walked back to her table.

"Fuck I didn't know Taylor was here tonight; she's looking fucking hot as fuck tonight, isn't she?" Wade said as he gulped his beer.

"Yeah, what are your names again? You both ready to get out of here?" I asked the two blond chicks we had been chatting with for the last fifteen minutes, but I couldn't remember their names.

"I'm Kimbra, and she's Coby," Kimbra said with a sexy smile.

"Well, Kimbra, let's head out then," I said, and she linked her arm with mine, and we left. It looks like Wade and I both would be getting some fresh pussy tonight. Thank fuck because I've been horny all day.

TAYLOR*

The nice young woman who had picked me up at the bar was a hoot. She had me laughing the whole way home—a great ending to this unforgettable night I've had. As much as I love Aaron, I hoped he wasn't home; I was buzzed and ready to hit the sack. That thought was short-lived as Tilly drove up into my driveway, and I saw mine and Aaron's cars parked. I guess my mom and dad had brought it over for me because I had left my car at their house. My mom was supposed to have brought it to me in the morning, so I could take Mark to school and get to work. Something didn't feel right though darkness slowly started settling into my bones.

"You ok there? You look like you've seen a ghost?" Tilly said, and I glanced up to see her staring at me through the review mirror.

"Oh um yes, I'm sorry. Did you receive my payment, ok?"

"Yes, ma'am, thank you for the tip, by the way; that was mighty generous of you,"

"I haven't had so much fun in an Uber ride in my life Tilly. This was great, thank you. Have a nice night," I said as I got out of the car and made my way to the front door. Tilly waited until I was safely inside before driving off.

It's only ten o'clock at night, so I thought Aaron would be watching TV, but it was pitch black in the house. I flicked on the light to the living room so that I could see and almost jumped out of my skin when Aaron came into view. He had rearranged all of the furniture and was scowling at me, a bottle of whiskey in his hand. Shit, I should have told Tilly to wait; something told me this wasn't going to be good.

Aaron set the bottle of whiskey down on the floor, rose from the chair, and stalked over to me. He grabbed my shirt and tore it in half, making it fall to the floor.

"You went out to a bar that I told you I didn't want you going to dressed like a fucking whore," Aaron yelled as he ripped the zipper of my slacks and yanked them off, making me fly back and hit my head on the door. My hand flew up to massage the spot that had hit the door, there was no blood, but it hurt like hell.

"You're such an ugly ass cunt, but you're my ugly ass cunt. No one else, no one else will ever want you. You're a fucking whore, get up and go to bed; we'll talk about the fact that you were talking to other men while you were there in the morning," Aaron said as he stood there clenching his fist.

"Wait, no, Aaron, I didn't talk to anyone but Kirsten, Sasha, and Kallie the whole time I was there, I promise. I went straight to their table and only got up once," I trailed off as I remembered talking with Connor outside the woman's bathroom.

"Aw, you remember, huh, that prick you were speaking to after your bathroom break. I'm a cop, and I'm Mayor of this city. I have eyes everywhere," Aaron yelled as he grabbed my arm and spun me around, and rammed me up against the wall.

"No, Aaron, that was my boss; he was just trying to say hi; I would never sleep with anyone else, I swear," I screamed as I tried to wiggle out of his grasp.

"You're a fucking whore, and whores get fucked, you ready to get fucked, Taylor," Aaron yelled as he stuck two fingers in his mouth, then tried to pry my butt cheeks apart.

I head-butted him, which hurt like hell because I had already hit my head once tonight, and turned to run, but Aaron caught my ankle, and I flew into the wall. The right side of my face was pulsing; I knew that would leave a bruise.

"Oh yeah, after that little stunt, you are definitely getting fucked," Aaron yelled as he drug me towards him.

After it was all said and done, Aaron left me on the floor crying as I spit his cum out of my mouth. I wasn't going to be able to sit right for a week. Aaron has never hit me or hurt me in any way until tonight. I picked myself up off of the floor and grabbed a bottled water from the fridge, found some Advil, and took three. I grabbed a bag of frozen peas and laid down on the couch. It's funny how I'm the one sleeping on the couch right now while Aaron is all comfy in our bed.

I had no idea how much Taylor had had to drink last night, but I figured some coffee was most likely needed. So I grabbed some Krispy Creme donuts and coffee's for us on my way to work. I thought it would also be the perfect peace offering.

The door was cracked to her office, and I heard her singing Christian music. She must have her pods in again. I kicked the door open enough to make it easier to push it the best of the way open with my body. Taylor was standing over by the filing cabinet, but she wasn't doing anything but standing there.

I set the coffee and donuts down on her desk and walked up to her. She turned when she saw my shadow, and what the fuck. What the fuck happened to her face? That fucker hit her; that's what happened. I'm going to kill the fucker.

I motioned for her to take the pods out of her ears, and she complied. "Get your things we're going to the hospital,"

"What? No, I'm fine, Connor. I tripped and fell into the wall," Taylor said.

"Hell fuck no, Taylor, I'm not going to let you stand there and fucking lie to me. Get your a shit, and let's go,"

"You have no right to order me around Connor; I'm fine; I tripped, and I fell, that's all that happened,"

I turned and left her office and called Blaze to let him know what was going down. Taylor may not listen to me because she hates my guts, but she will listen to Blaze.
