Adrianna POV
Eyes were on both me and Manuel, I was getting very nervous. The dress I had on was hugging my curves. I can tell Manuel was struggling to keep calm from all the eyes on my ass. But he had the girls giving me mean mugs so we're even. Besides that at the house he immediately wanted me to take off the dress but I reallllly liked it and wasn't gonna take it off , I mean I didn't pick the dress.
Manuel swiftly started guiding me to a group of people. His arms wrapped around my lower back pulling me closer to him, while his other hand held mine. When we finally reached the group of people I recognized a few of them from the last party. I immediately put my head down and started at the ground to avoid eye contact they all looked scary and the guns on the table made me feel uncomfortable but with Manuel I felt safe.
I heard the group mumble a few things in Italian to Manuel. Than Manuel lead us to a seat at the head if the table we're this time I sat next to him. Manuel pulls my chair close to him than kisses my head. He than pulled away when one of the men at the table called for a waiter.
I looked over to see a tall blond haired woman taking orders. She wore a tight black which revealing a lot of cleavage. She smilies and walks towards us moving her hips even more. "Hi, what can I order for you today?" She asked flirtatiously while she starred at Manuel. I felt a bit jealous. Manuel pulled me closer to him literally pulling me off my chair.
"Get her my favorite and a water", Manuel said not even looking at her. Once she was gone I whispered in Manuel's ear "I can order myself Manuel!" He pulled back and glared at me "Can you even read the menu Adri it's all in Italian", he said smirking. I than shut my mouth as I say the girl appear with every ones food.
The "talk" Manuel was having with the group of people was no interest to me because it was spoken in Italian so I didn't understand a thing. I was getting bored and wanted to leave. "Manuel can excuse myself to the bathroom please." I said hoping he'd say yes.
"Go and come back quickly, don't do anything you'd regret." He said kissing my ear. I got up and went to the bathroom, it was clustered with sweaty people grinding on each other. Ew really even in the bathroom I thought. That's when I was yanked by some drunk who was forcing themselves on me. "Do you wanna go outside beauty?" the guy said griping my arms with his sweat palms.
"Get the fuck off me you" he smacked me than said "You think because your with Manuel no one can have you huh, has he told how he's ripped people heads off sweetheart with his own hands." I should've never asked to go the bathroom. I started tearing up trying to pull away from the perv as we head outside towards an alley, where are the bloody guards when I need them. I don't know why put I couldn't find the voice inside me to start screaming.
Than again when the guy was ready to pull my dress up I'm yanked. Manuel, he pulls me behind him. I see Manuel turn towards the guy and pull something out. I hear a snap and the guys body falls to the ground. Manuel comes close to me with no emotion on his face his eyes were pure black.
"Oh my gosh Manuel what did you do? You just killed a man?!" I say hysterically. He shrugs and grabs my hand leading me to the car that was waiting for us surprisingly. "Manuel I-I want to g-go home I don't wanna be here anymore," I say pulling away from him. My throat was than in his hand and slammed against the car door that was once opened. I hissed, even tho it wasn't hurting I was scared shitless.
I was scared of the one man I fell in love with.... I was rethinking my whole life. I couldn't be with a killer. I knew I was in for it once Manuel said he was in the Mafia.
"Listen to me. Your are my girl. Mine, there is no going back for you Tesoro!" he smashed his lips to mine and I hate to say how wet I was. "I am never letting you go Adri, you understand", he grabbed my ass. I Nodded. Like a dumbass.
Manuel than reopened the door and pushed me in he pulled out his phone and called someone. I can't believe what I got myself into. I looked out the window trying to not remember what occurred tonight.
When we got to the house I started to feel a little dizzy but I brushed it off and thought it was nothing. I first went in the kitchen to get some water but Manuel stopped me."If you need something just ask don't just go do stuff." I don't know why he treats me like I can't take care of my own damn self. But I understand cause he saw me in a bad place before where I wasn't, but still!
"I can get it myself" I grab the water and headed upstairs. As I was going up, I started to feel even more Dizzy than before. I tried my best to get up the stairs but I didn't feel good. Next thing I know I'm on floor and I see Manuel running to me. Then I saw black.
