"Stop fussing over me will you." Vince growls at Elijah and Jacob who were doing nothing other than suffocating him under the guise of being worried about him.

"you almost died, I think we can flutter over you for a while." Jacob replied as Vince glared at him.

yeah, like how your mate got your gifts even teleporting, does that mean that all our mates will get our gifts, does that mean that Ashley will be able to teleport soon. Caleb asks as they all turned to look at him. what?

Courtney said as the side talks died down. first order of business, how do we protect Vincent from his impulsive actions that almost got him killed because I will not hope that his almost death cured him of that nature. Courtney said as Vince rolled his eyes.

according to you, everything which Matthew said would have come true if anything had happened to you, you know that this is the truth. Courtney added as Vince didnt reply but rather fold his arms across his chest and let the conversation continue around him without him contributing to the topic at hand.

I still think that one of us should always shadow Vince. Jessica said. we are an even number now, we can make it work. All we have to do is share ourselves into group of two each and let it be recorded that I am the first person to say that I dont want to be put in a group with Vince.

well I cant be with Vince, Courtney said we are leading two different investigations. It will slow us down if we are on the same team.

are we seriously considering this? Elijah asks looking at his fellow council members face. we dont have the time or energy for that, we have a lot to do and we divide it into three places. Thats wastage of time, time that we do not have.

well, its not like we have a choice, we cannot put Vince in a group of two without being in one ourselves, he would never stand for it. I am pretty sure that he wont even accept this current solution but he is being too stubborn and acting like a child instead of his age. Jake said with a glare on his face that made Vince smile.

then we better pair him and Jake up Courtney said and continued talking even when Jake started protesting. Jessica is lousy at paperwork so that means that Caleb and Elijah will focus on ruling while I continue my investigations and hunt with Jessica.

and how do you propose we do that even though we are already spread out. We cannot add babysitting to our current workload. Caleb pointed out.

how about we include the efforts of other races, after all we are not the only ones concerned. Elijah said flippantly without thinking of what he was actually suggesting.

Vince sat up that is actually not a bad idea. Maybe they all could protect the crystal, he just have to make sure that Gwen was also where the crystals are and that will make sure that she is also protected.

yes, we include the help of Cole and Carson, especially Carson who needs to put the wards in place and that will make it easy for us to do what we have to do and also help increase the bond between our people. Caleb said as Elijah turned to look at him.

to me, nothing is wrong with the plan. Get everybody together, at least one of us is always present and that will provide security for the crystals without us trying or making extra plans. Courtney said quickly when she felt tiny of Vince aura which escaped his tight leash on them, she knew that she couldnt challenge Vince not in this issue but when it starts happening to her mate, then she will even if it means risking her neck. She just hopes that Vince was in a good mood that day.
