Failed Faking

"Brother, why do you think she wants to meet us?" Adira asked as she stood infront of the gate of the Witch's tower.

"I don't know. But I guess it's not anything bad. Her suggestions for me from last time are doing good for me," Maximus added.

Adira nodded her head at him. As long as her brother was with her, she can say that she was safe. She has to be worried if it was her husband. Hmm… husband… just the word itself was making her feel bitter.

Like last time, a crow appeared in front of them.

"Princess and King, follow me," the woman called Sansa from last time said.

They both followed her. Unlike last time, this time they went to the third floor. The third floor was filled with a huge bed as it faced the roof of the beautiful night sky. The glittering stars that are decorated in the thick bluish-black blanket-like sky made them feel relaxed. Adira liked the way it was instantly. A smile formed on her face the very next second.

"Come here," Elphaba said as she gestured for them to go near the couch near the bed.

She was wearing a white nightgown that barely hid her assets. Elphaba got a perfect body that seduced anyone in the world.

She was wearing a white satin frock. Her big fluffy breasts were acting as if they want to be freed from her gown to bounce freely. There was a big slit on both sides of her legs. With every step she took her legs were exposed to Maximus and Adira. Maximus looked at her milky legs which stole his concentration. Before he could continue watching, he snapped himself out of those perverted thoughts. Even though he wasn't attracted to her body, her legs were eye-catchy which made him gulp his saliva. But compared with his wife's legs Elphaba's legs were nothing to him.

Even Adira couldn't help but feel attracted to her. Elphaba was a kind of beauty that can make anyone drool over her. Even being a woman, she was attracted to her.

Elphaba didn't care if Maximus or Adira looking at her legs and breasts. She just walked towards them in her usual sashaying way.

Standing in front of Maximus, she opened her palm. She chanted something, soon a jade bangle made of gold and white intricate designs appeared in her palm.

"Ask your wife to wear this all the time. That way, only you can hear her," Elphaba said.

Maximus just nodded his head at her and took it. He can understand what she was referring to.

"I know everything if that's what is your doubt," she answered Maximus.

Maximus just glanced at her and nodded. He has no desire to indulge in a conversation with her.

"You may leave now," Elphaba said.

"Why? I will go along with my sister," Maximus answered.

"I won't eat her. Go out first!" Elphaba said raising her voice a bit.

"Sansa!" Elphaba called. The same women whom they met near the gate appeared. She made Maximus go out.

"Faking failed, right?" Elphaba said raising her brow with a smirk. Adira looked at her in shock.

"Faking failed, right?" Elphaba said with a smirk.

Adira looked at her with a shock. She tried hard to look happy in front of everyone. But… looks like she was failing. And from her words and her brother's and mother's reaction… indeed she failed.

"I am not an immortal who can change his behavior or know some black magic to make him your slave. But as a woman all I can do is… give you a piece of advice," Elphaba said.

"Why?" Adira asked almost immediately. Witches were known for manipulation. And even if she wasn't a witch…. Nothing comes for free. As the saying goes there are no free meals available in this world. And here… especially this witch… won't help her for free.

"Not because I am concerned about you. But…." Elphaba went on. Adira knew she wasn't helping because she was worried but because of something else. She was curious about what it was.

"...because… all the fights between two races came to an end. And because they will be resumed now. I don't want that. It would be a damage to nature. So… I am giving advice," Elphaba continued. She nodded her head at Elphaba obediently.

"Men… they won't care if you are available to them every time. Don't be available. Don't care. Even if he doesn't love you, he shall respect you even if he doesn't love you. If he wants to achieve goals… he has to do it on his own. Women shouldn't be pawns. Don't be a pawn, be a queen. Take the controls. You may not be able to take control of everything but you can take control of your life, right?

"Don't let him take advantage of you. Be it now or anytime. It takes time, and some damage emotionally and physically. So be smart and wise with your steps," Elphaba said.

Elphaba went back and sat on her bed as she looked deeply thinking Adira. She could see she was thinking deeply about it.

Thought is the first step for everything. She smiled.

"Take this potion," Elphaba said as she forwarded a small bottle that perfectly fit in her palm.

"What is this?" Adira asked.

"It is a kind of… Vaccine. It is effective for a year. Even if you are bitten by a vampire, you won't die. Basically a cure," Elphaba said.

"Thank you," Adira thanked.

"You may leave, if you have nothing to ask," Elphaba said.

"Can you give me a suggestion on how to tackle things?" Adira asked still fidgeting her fingers.

"The starting point is also the ending point. Start and end with what or where it started," Elphaba said.

"Sansa, see her out," Elphaba added.

Adira: "..."

Adira didn't have to think about these things before she was pushed out.  She was kind of speechless at the way she was kicked out.
