Siblings 'Chat' (4)

Eudora wanted to talk with Lenora after breakfast. She decided to meet her at the brunch after knowing that Zaros has a brunch appointment with Lenora.

When it's time to meet her, she met Adira on her way.

"Lady Valorine," Adira addressed her.

"Why don't you call me mom like before?" Eudora asked with a tight smile.

"I couldn't afford to make King Valorine angry," she said with a more nervous smile.

"Where are you going?" Eudora asked with a sigh. She realized now that Adira was much more scared than ever.

"To meet my sister-in-law," Adira said.

"Even I am going there," Eudora said.

"We shall go together," Eudora interrupted when Adira was about to say something.

Adira just nodded her head at her. Soon they reached Lenora's chambers.

"My Ladies," Celine greeted them.

"We want to meet Lenora," Eudora said.

"Lady is in the back garden talking with King Valorine," Celine said with respect.

"We will wait for her in the chambers," Adira said.

"My Lady doesn't wish others to enter apart from us three personal maids," Celine said with a smile.

"Then take us to the back garden," Eudora said.

"My Lady is still talking with the King Valorine," Celine said clearly telling her she won't allow them to enter them till Lenora said so. And she won't interrupt till Lenora was done talking with Zaros.

Just then they heard a huge crashing sound. No matter how hard Celine tried to stop them. She couldn't stop them.

Running into the back garden, they saw Lenora sent Zaros flying two meters away.

They heard him every word after that. With his, every word the cracks in Adira's heart became bigger and more prominent.

And he broke her heart with a single line, 'What about her?'

Even though she knew it broke her heart she stayed back and continued to listen to his response. She have to numb herself at all the insults he was going to throw her way.

"Don't you feel sorry for her?" Lenora asked with a shocked expression.

"I don't. I don't want to have a furry wife. I never asked for that," he said with a disgruntled expression.

"Then why did you marry her? Why didn't you tell them beforehand? Why did you turn her life into hell?!" Lenora asked feeling frustrated.

"If I deserve the world, then she does too. She has a brother who has equal power as you! Why did you do this to her?" Lenora asked almost shouting.

"I only want her as a took. No more no less!" he yelled back swallowing the pain his chest caused due to Lenora's attack earlier.

Lenora was tongue-tied at his answers. She doesn't know what to say or what to do now. Her brother was beyond hopeless. Eudora was silent for many minutes. It was a hard fact for her to digest this thing. She doesn't know what to do.

"My Lord, do you want me to live the same life that I did in Vampira in the past two years? Do you like me to live that life that much?" Lenora questioned with a straight face.

"No!" he almost yelled. He clenched and unclenched his fists as he looked at her in anger.

She shouldn't say these kinds of words to him or anyone like this! This was no good!

"Then?" she asked crossing her hands against her chest.

"I want you to live a happy life that everyone envies," he said.

"Then stop doing stuff for me. I am over a hundred years old. I can do my things. Even if I haven't lived complete hundred years… I have lived enough life in this world that made me realize what is what.

"Now, you interfering in my life using your wife to have this empire and me, makes me feel disgusted. And also…don't give me the excuse of saying 'I want to give you the best life that everyone envied'. You are not doing it. You are just finding an excuse to cover your greed. You might have loved me but not now or anymore.

"You are nothing but a power-hungry man!" Lenora said in a sharp tone, cutting off all his chances of his possible interruption.

"But… I still stand on the point that I love you and I want you to have the best. You deserve all the happiness in this world!" he roared at the lack of understanding she has for him.

He couldn't digest the fact that his sister wasn't understanding him and again she was standing there pointing her fingers at him saying that he was the wrong one when she understood him wrongly! He was beyond angry! How could he not? The one who was pointing her fingers was his sister!

"The way Maximus's sister does!" Lenora pointed sharply.

"Why do you involve her in everything. She is nothing but a furry woman," Zaros said breaking Adira's heart.

Eudora stood rooted in her place. She understood now that her son was no longer her son but a beast.

"My Lord, do you realize what you are saying?" Lenora asked.

She was surprised at her brother's words. He was getting angry, losing control, and talking like a lunatic. She didn't understand why he was behaving like this. It's as if he was a completely different person.

"I know," he said.

"But do you know your actions are bringing chaos to my relationship with my husband?" Lenora asked.

"He is another furry man. I will find another person for you to marry," Zaros said.

"I love him, My Lord! I love him. For the first time in my life after so many things, I realized I am being loved. I am being treasured and I found a home for myself. But… you ruined it," Lenora said as she started crying.

Adira didn't stay there anymore and walked away as she couldn't take it anymore. Her heart was shedding blood tears as she looked at her husband.
