TVS 40: A Birthday Nightmare
F I R E
Flashback ~
What will Xavierre say to me? I ended up eating the porridge he made for me. I'm fine and I feel fine, thanks to Xavierre's porridge.
"I'm done, what's so important for you to say?" I got up and sat on the side of my bed, and I just looked him in the eye. I bet this is something serious so I will also be serious about listening. He sat down next to me, took my hand and stared into my eyes.
"Do you trust me?"

"Whatever I say, do you promise that you will still trust me?"
What is this? Will he admit that he is a vampire? Will he bite me?

"You know him?" Xavierre asked, his eyes were furrowed. He also seemed surprised by what I said.
"Why you? Do you know that too?" I faced him.
" Of course not!" He defended.
"Not really." I crossed my arms, okay this is it.
"Who's that?" He again asked. What? Shall I really say that? Those plans of mine? I trust him, and I know he won't mess up my plans.
"It's Dmitri Damienne." I saw Xavierre's reaction, and he seemed shocked. So go ahead, I'll tell him.
"Remember my birthday? When you left my house that night, he came. He told me that you are the vampire king. At first I was angry, because you didn't tell me that you are a real vampire. But then, what happened several years ago ... I still remember the scent of the vampire that killed my parents. "
"And that is Dmitri."
I didn't know why Xavierre's eyes turned darker. Isn't he happy--
"All this t-time ?! I-I thought that ... That you were planning to end my l-life, yun pala ... It's just a front of your real plan." He hugged me tightly. I hugged him back, but his hug doesn't feel like it's comforting ... Parang tensed.

Third Person's POV
"Fire !!!! That brat! Did he think he could handle me? Look at these tiny pieces of sh*t! Did he think I couldn't see it ?!"
Dmitri was annoyed after finding out that his office was full of bugging devices.
His anger is overflowing because Fire intends to single him out.
"Where the heck is Zagan and Gydeon ?!" He ejaculated more annoyed because he could not see the shadow of the two men he trusted.
"Fvck! Now, I will kill Xavierre myself! I will take that Fire with me!" He immediately took the invitation from the drawer of his office table and then hurried away.

Fire and Xavierre are currently in the middle of the hall. They're dancing to the sound of the sweet waltz. Others are there as well. Some chose to dance in the middle like Frost and Alvie, some chose to drink wine, some seemed envious ...
"Haaaay, aren't they sweet?" Vishnyr let out a deep sigh. Drac laughed at it. While Tanj and Zephyr are just quietly feeling down.
"You mean, you just don't know how to approach, HA!" Drac teases Vishnyr. It seemed to bend at what he said so it stood up suddenly and said, "Me? I don't know? Ha! Just watch and learn from me, Drac. You made a mistake."
"Pfft. Really just ah!"
In the distance there was a woman sitting alone, unaccompanied at the table and also drinking wine. Vishnyr spotted the girl and bragged to the three that he could get the girl in just a single snap of his finger.
That's what he did, he approached the woman and started to talk to her. Few moments had passed, the girl walked away.
Vishnyr shrugged as he returned to their table. He was greeted by a burst of laughter from the three, but Drac's laughter was more dominant. Vishnyr just bowed in embarrassment.
"What did you say to the woman?" Tanj asked him and drank a sip if his wine.
"I stuttered Dre! That's my first time!"
Everyone's on the verge of having fun not until Dmitri showed up. It's in the front ... It's in the middle of the stage where Fire performed earlier. Seconds after Dmitri's appearance Fire immediately felt very angry. But she knew in herself that there was a possibility that Dmitri knew what she was planning because of the bugging devices she failed to retrieve.
When he noticed that his grip on Fire was tense, Xavierre tried to calm him down by holding it tightly in his arm. At least he was nervous about what Dmitri was going to do.

"It seems to be that everyone's really having fun! And yeah let me congratulate our King, the birthday boy on his 250th Birthday. May I wish you a very very very long life." There is emphasis on every utterance of his words. What is he doing here? Why isn't he with Zagan?
"And to that girl ... Ms. Fire Vallez ..." He pointed and the next thing I knew, the spotlight was on me.
"His long lost Queen. Congratulations, you found her! Give them a round of applause, everyone." With that cue, everyone offered their applause and bowed their heads.

Dmitri's phrases echoed my mind. What queen is this saying ?!
I looked at Xavierre with a confused look, hoping that Dmitri's words were not right. He's just looking at me with emotionless eyes.
"Oh? Did I spill your tea Mr. Xavierre Van Vladymir?" Dmitri chuckled, he was getting closer to where we were.
"Is it true?" Please don't say yes.
He nodded.
Does that mean I'm a Vampire too?
And all this time, he kept it as a secret?
"Well, if that's the case, keeping that to me for real ... I guess I have no other choice but to stick with our plan, Mr. Dmitri." I saw him smirked, those greedy eyes of him.
"Follow me you two, Mr. Damienne and Mr. Vladymir. Xavierre, don't you dare call the others, or else I'll kill myself."

"Follow me you two, Mr. Damienne and Mr. Vladymir. Xavierre, don't you dare call the others, or else I'll kill myself." When Fire said that, I felt like it was a stab on my chest. She pulled a knife underneath her gown and pointed it at her neck.
This is not good, if she gets hurt while in her human state, vampires here with us will surely be out of our control.
"Fine, I'll go. I'll just announce something." I can't find Vishnyr and the others because of the crowd, or maybe they're out doing something.
"Everyone, you can now go to the next reception, enjoy and adiós!"
"Done?" Fire impatiently asked. I just nodded and followed her with Dmitri. These two will be shocked if they knew that they are blood related.
Fire's taking us to the underground of my house. This is where she killed those bastards that abducted her ... And now the place of my end, Fire's going to kill me with her own hands. I can't do anything because until now the knife is still pointed at his neck.
Why am I so helpless right now?
This is a birthday nightmare.
"So now Xavierre, are you ready? And you, Mr. Dmitri, you have to witness his death." Fire again pulled out another thing under her gown. It's her famous bow and arrow, the weapon that she loved the most.
"Stand there." She ordered me; all I have to say is, "Sorry for that. For not telling you everything."
"Are there still secrets you have to tell me?" Fire pulled out the arrow and held at it while looking at me.
"There's more, it's about you two." I saw Dmitri's eyes, full of anger. He thought maybe I was still dressing to buy time for myself.
This is the last secret that I'm going to hide with Fire, but not until the end of this day. I will still say of course.
"What is it?" Dmitri's now asking me for it.
"Fire, meet your father. Dmitri, this is Fire, your daughter."
