Chapter 34

She took a few steps backwards in shock. She felt she couldn’t breath. She had her hand around her throat. She was shock and angry and she would make Blake feel how she was feeling right now. She was doing her best to be a good girlfriend but this perv of a man was doing the opposite. If he didn’t like commitments he should at least tried harder to treat her fairly in this so-called relationship. She didn’t like being controlled too but she did some sacrifices hoping that he would change. She was wishing to have a relationship for keeps and she thought it would be with him. Who would ever think that Heather Williams could be a submissive girlfriend? Sadly, all the things she was doing were useless. So now it was clear to her that Blake wanted to play with her. She clenched her fists.

Then let the game begin sweetheart. I am so ready. She murmured to herself.

A few minutes ago Blake was about to leave his office when Samantha came. He told her he needed to go but she said it would only take a minute. She wanted his help to firm up her muscles. Of course as the owner of the gym, he had no choice but to say yes. He didn’t know that the woman planned to come today because she heard from Ellie that Heather was his girlfriend already so she was of course angry.

"Okay I will show you how to do it. You will use lighter weights .” He explained as he lied on his back.

All of a sudden, she straddled him. He wasn't able to react immediately because he was lifting the weight set.

"I think I better position myself like this while you lift weights , don’t you think so babe?” She giggled.

He put down the weights. "Will you get off me Sam?!" He ordered before he sat up and lifted her from him by her waist.

He mumbled a bad word. Heather was in the building and he didn’t want her to get angry if she saw them. Sam pouted then put her arms on his nape and tiptoed to kiss him on the lips. He held her arms to remove them. She was now trying to open his mouth with her tongue so she could deepen the kiss. Something made him want to look at the door. He cursed when he saw it was ajar. He quickly pushed Samantha from him. He ran to the door and checked the hallway. He sighed in relief when he saw it was empty. He raked his hand through his hair. He would be in deep shit if ever Heather saw what Samantha did.

He went back to where she was. "You can't do things like that Sam!"

She moistened her lips. “But I miss you babe.” She walked to him and ran her fingers on his chest.

He turned his head to look at the other two men in the gym. They were pretending not to listen. He removed her hand on his chest. He let out a heavy sigh. He had to pin her arms to her sides because she wanted to touch him again.

"Stop it Sam! Go back tomorrow! I will ask someone to train you. I really need to go.”.

She pouted. "I want you to train me." she insisted.

" I can’t! Get your things!" he said in a steely tone and walked out of the gym.

He quickly proceeded to the receptionist. “Have you seen Heather?" He asked her.

“Yes sir. She asked where you were a while ago then she just left a few moments after checking you inside.”

He straightened and his brows knitted.

"By the way sir, Miss Heather told me to relay her message.”

He frowned. “What message?”

“She said that you should get a room sir.”

Blake couldn’t help but curse

Heather called Kenji after leaving the building. She didn’t want to call Kevin because last time Blake had almost beaten him up. And he hadn’t called or texted her yet after that incident at her aunt’s home. Kenji on one hand could defend himself since he was also a marital arts instructor.

"I should be ready because I am sure Blake would want to injure me if he found out we are together.” He joked.

"You can defend yourself we both know that.” She said with a smile which made him grin.

"I can try." He said with a chuckle.

She forked some cheesecake. “Do you have a habit of looking at someone like that?” She asked.

He leaned on the chair. I'm sorry. I wasn't aware that I was staring. You are very pretty.” He said in a serious voice.

She said a quiet thank you then had some of the cheesecake.

"I am not surprised that Blake did his fast moves to get you. Some guys have all the luck." He said with a shake of his head.

She put down her fork. "Blake doesn't own me." she said.

Kenji chuckled. "I'm sure he wants to. He acts as if he does."

"We aren't really a couple. As you said you know him well, right?” She said to fish more information .

He nodded. " All his friends know that he doesn't want to be in a relationship but he doesn't seem to run out of dates. A lot of women offer themselves to him.”

Heather sipped her coffee. "I am not one of them." she said.

"Hmm...that’s good to know. You are too gorgeous to do that but are you sure you are not really a couple?" He asked with knitted brows.

She shook her head. She was telling the truth. It was becoming more obvious that everything was just a sham created by Blake. He had the guts to flirt with Samantha knowing she was in the same building. Maybe he wasn’t afraid to be discovered because he was getting tired of her. She thought it was strange though since she was aware that he seemed addicted to her.

Not to you stupid! He is addicted to your body! Gosh Heather you are very pretty but sometimes your stupidity ruins it. She scolded herself.

Or maybe because he could sense that she loved him? She wondered if she was showing signs to him? She slightly shook her head. She should really guard her actions and reactions when they were together.

"Well you are right. He wants to own me but he can't .He doesn't want other men around me. He is kind of selfish."

There was truth in what she said. He was selfish yes but didn’t he own her already?

NO! And he made a mistake by making a fool of me! She thought.

"So can I woo you?" he asked.

She looked at him ."Let's be friends first then we’ll see.”

She couldn’t let him do that at once. Blake would go berserk. She didn’t want such an immediate strong reaction from him. She wanted it to be slow but sure. She liked to stun him. Before he realized was was happening , she would be unreachable already.

"We shouldn't provoke Blake. As much as possible when we are at the gym don’t come near me.” "she reminded him.

Kenji smiled. "Okay. But can we go out regularly?" He asked and she just nodded.

Heather was on her way home when she got a text message from Kevin. She called him and they chatted for a few minutes. She was happy that at last he contacted her. She apologized to him for what happened. Blake had hit him twice because of her. He wanted to see her but she said no. She couldn’t risk it. She told him that they can text or call each other for the meantime. She changed the names of the two guys into female names. Chynna for Kenji and Hannie for Kevin because it sounded close to their endearment hon. She wasn’t like Blake. If he flirted with women openly, she would be careful. She smirked before starting the engine. Blake’s number flashed on her screen but she ignored his call. She didn’t want to talk to him yet. She was still too pissed. She will let him get tired of calling her.

Blake cursed after their last performance. He went out of the bar. He had to blow off steam. He kicked the tire of his vehicle a few times. He couldn’t perform well due to anger. He was lucky no one noticed his mishaps. At the gym a few hours ago before leaving, he saw Pauline getting out of the locker room without Heather. He swore again out of frustration and annoyance. She hadn’t picked up his calls. Eve went out to follow her.

“Blake what’s wrong? Is it Heather?”

He didn’t reply but he kicked the tire of his car again.

Eve sighed. "Well I have warned you a lot of times! You seemed okay the last time I saw you and now you are like this?”

"I have been calling her but she isn’t answering and I don’t even know where she is and who is she with fuck!”

Eve’s brow raised. “Wait a minute! Don’t tell me you are officially on?” "

Blake just threw her a glance before getting his phone in his pocket. He started dialing. Eve hit his arm.

“Come on cuzz! Tell me! Are you officially on?”

He raked his hand through his hair and mumbled a bad word when Heather still didn’t pick up his call.

“I know you Blake! Are you serious with her or just playing with her?”

"Stay out of this Eve.” He said as he sent Heather a text message.

He didn’t like texting but he had no other choice. He needed to let her know how pissed he was. He knew that she saw him with Samantha and she was getting back at him by doing this.

And she is fucking succeeding! He told himself furiously.

"Have you done it with her already? The way you are acting says yes. So did you make her your girlfriend or not? ” Eve asked with furrowed brows.

"You said you know me so why are you asking me if she is my girlfriend or not?”

Eve gasped. "Oh no! Don't tell me you had sex already and she is not even your woman yet!”

"She knows she is my girlfriend.” He said matter-of-factly.

"So this is worse than I thought. You made her believe that to have her in your bed?"

"I’m going. You take care of the bar." He said as he intentionally evaded her question.

"Blake! How could you do such a thing? You are making a fool out of her!”

He angrily ran his fingers through his hair. "Look! I haven’t had any other women after what happened to us! It’s just her! That must mean something right?" he asked while frowning.

“Well good for you but I can’t fathom why you have to make her believe that you are committed to her? That is so wrong! If this will go out of hand there is no one to blame but yourself! I have been giving you advice since day one!” Eve said angrily before returning to the bar.

Heather was ready for bed when she decided to finally check her phone again. She raised a brow when she saw Blake’s text. He never texted her so this was a first.

What you saw at the gym meant nothing! I will explain everything to you. I called you dozens of times dammit! Don’t fucking do anything that would really piss me!

She deleted his message. It was his first time to send her a message and it was an angry and threatening one. She could imagine how red his face was when he was typing it.

Well serves him right! She mumbled.

She turned off her phone then laid on the bed. She unplugged her doorbell. She didn’t want to see or talk to him yet. She had to meet Alicia the next morning so she needed her sleep. She left her unit early to avoid Blake going to her unit or seeing him at the elevator. She used the stairs instead. Unfortunately when she got down to the lobby, she was Blake at the entrance. He seemed to have just finished running. She groaned in dismay when he saw her. He appeared not to have slept a wink but still looked yummy. She almost smirked when she saw how pissed he was as he glared at her. His strides were long and quick as he came near her. He might be glowering at her but he was obviously lusting after her,

Drama and acting 101!Heather told herself as she pasted her sexiest smile. "Sweetheart.." she huskily greeted him.

He angrily took hold of her right forearm. She raised her head and gave him a peck on the lips. She felt him tensed up.

"Where the fuck did you go last night?’ He rasped.

She sighed then moved her body closer to his. "I had a splitting headache. I was just in my unit. I slept after going back from the gym. You always tire me which probably why I had a headache." she said while pouting.

She noticed that he calmed down a little when she said that. She rested the right side of her face on his chest. "Sorry sweetheart. Don't be mad. I missed you." she said in a husky voice. But she secretly sneered.

She had to use her appeal on him. She could smell revenge and it’s around the corner…
