Chapter 4

The men on the left were using gym equipment while the women on the other side were preparing for a zumba exercise. Blake was near the door. He was busy looking at some boxes with yoga mats.

Heather felt heat came up her face not because she was seeing his magnificent body but because she was starting to feel that angry feeling she had for him. He was the most hateful man she had the misfortune to meet. Fate must be playing with her because she never expected him to be the gym owner Pauline told her about. If she was frowning upon seeing him, Pauline's face broke into a wide smile. Her friend was eyeing him like he was a juicy steak. He was in a pair of black tracksuit bottoms and he was bare-chested. She hated to admit it but he really had a magnificent body. His tattoos complimented his hunky frame.

"Hello. I am Pauline." She extended her hand to Blake for a handshake.

Blake looked surprised when he saw Heather but he quickly recovered. He let out a toothpaste commercial smile that could melt even a snow-capped mountain.

"Thank Liz, I will take it from here." he told the receptionist who just smiled and nodded then left. " Hi. My name is Blake Acosta. Your sister has been telling me about you. What took you so long to come here?" He asked and shook Pauline’s hand.

Heather snorted. She avoided looking at him. She was pretending to be busy looking around.

"Sorry. We’ve been busy at work. Oh by the way I am with my friend Heather.” Pauline pulled her hand.

She had no choice but to look at Blake. He smiled wider. He had been just thinking about her last night and this morning. He didn’t have any idea that he would meet her today. He thought that Stacey’s sister was worth fantasizing about. He ran his eyes on her very pretty face, big boobs, her sexy body her smooth and creamy legs. She was a perfect 10. She was wearing a white mini-dress with black vertical stripes. She had white strappy sandals on and her red toenails made her feet looked even more beautiful. She also smelled delicious. He was having a boner and he promised himself that he would definitely bed her sooner or later.

Heather looked daggers at him. She hated the way he was staring at her. He appeared to be stripping her. Just then Pauline cleared her throat which made Blake transfer his eyes to her.

"Yes I know her. She is Stacey’s half sister." He said in a matter-of-fact tone.

Pauline’s mouthed an O and nodded slowly.

"He wooed Stacey before but my sister turned him down flat.” Heather said suppressing a smirk.

A look of surprised crossed her friend’s face. "Really?” She asked in disbelief.

Blake chuckled. "That was ages ago. Stacey didn’t like my kind that time.” He was grinning.

"I don't blame her." She said sarcastically.

Blake sneered before eyeing her again.

Pauline must have sensed that there was something between the two. It was like a certain energy was engulfing them but knowing Heather, she might start being feisty again and things could go bad instead of the other way around. So she tried to change the topic.

"Blake are you the sole owner of all this?"

"Yes. I become the martial arts instructor too when Kenji is not here.”

"Wow! No wonder you have toned chest and abs and look at your biceps!” Pauline sounded giddy.

Heather rolled her eyes .She didn’t want to waste time seeing how Pauline drooled over this sex maniac. "I seem to have changed my mind. I'm leaving." She said before turning to go.

"Wait! You said you wanted to try! Why did you change your mind all of a sudden?” Pauline took hold of her hand to stop her.

Blake was poker-faced while looking at her. She was about to answer when a nice looking man came in. He looked like an Asian heartthrob. Their eyes met.

"Kenji!" Called Blake.

Pauline tugged at her hand because she seemed to have been mesmerized by the newcomer..

"Blake." Kenji said before taking his eyes off her.

He walked towards Blake. The two did a fist pump.

She didn't move from her position. She had her back on the two men and Pauline. She was just staring at the door where Kenji entered.

Oh dear !She thought.

Pauline whispered near her ear. “He looks like Harvey!”

Harvey was the jerk who took her innocence. Although Kenji was a much better version.

"Are we all set?" Kenji asked Blake but his eyes were on Heather’s back.

"Yes every one is inside already." Blake replied.

He had his eyes narrowed as he was observing what was happening. He saw the way Kenji looked at Heather and the latter seemed to be taken aback when she saw Kenji.

Heather sighed. She couldn't let the past haunt her. Because of her bad experience with Harvey she believed she became frigid. She couldn't imagine herself doing it all the way with a man. She could live without sex. Kissing and petting, she could stomach but not penetration. She knew how painful it was. She was once called a rose with a lot of thorns. Beautiful to look at but deadly once men try to do more than she allowed them to do. She might be a flirt and a tease but she would not let any man f*ck her again. She couldn’t fathom why women like sex. For her it was all pain.

Ain't my thing! She told herself.

Then she suddenly realized that she might have to take the self-defense class after all. Her being feisty might not work with men next time so she should at least learn how to defend herself physically.. She slowly turned to face the two men and her friend while she had a sexy smile on her face.

"Are you the martial art instructor?" she suddenly asked Kenji which surprised Pauline.

Kenji moved towards her and offered his hand. He had a cute smile. "Yes. I am Kenji. And you are..?".

She raised her hand and he took hold of it.

"Heather Williams." She said in her sweetest voice.

She didn’t notice that Blake crossed his arms on his chest as he eyed her. He had a strange expression.

"I am Pauline. "Her friend took it upon herself to introduce herself to Kenji.

Her best friend might have noticed that he deemed to be unaware of anyone but her. He nodded at Pauline and said hi but he didn’t let go of her hand and his eyes were still fixated on her.

Kenji was good-looking too and had a hunky body as well.

Not bad…not bad at all! She thought.

She felt it was okay if she would try to do some harmless flirting with him. He didn't look as dangerous as Blake.

"Kenji is the full-time trainer of the kids. He has more students now since it’s the summer vacation." Blake said in a cold tone.

Heather ignored him. "Can you spare time to teach me one-on-one? Even for only half an hour a day?." she asked the other man huskily.

She heard Pauline coughed and she almost giggled. Her chum knew she was trying her charms again.

Kenji was now grinning. “I think I can do that.”

She smiled sweetly. "Thank you."

"Kenji can I have a word with you?" Blake’s voice was steely.

"Could you excuse us for a moment?” He asked her.

She just nodded with her smile pasted on her lips.

"I'll be back!” Blake said to Pauline before turning to go to a room on the left side of the gym. He didn’t even threw Heather a glance.

"Chummy!! You are really a goddess! Geez! Kenji seemed to be besotted with you?" Pauline giggled.

"You know me Pauline. It’s nothing serious. I just want to enjoy training with a cute instructor." She said.

"Oh yeah? Why not just admit the fact that you feel safer with Kenji? Yeah he’s cute but compared to Blake he is nothing! Don’t you have eyes or you want to pretend you don’t see how hot and yummy Blake is? I may need a panty liner when I go here. I bet he makes most of the women here wet when they see him without his shirt on!”

Heather rolled her eyes."Eow Pauline! Whatever happened to your taste in men?"

Her friend grinned. “I think if Blake will be your instructor, you two will end up in bed!”

"That is so gross Pauline! You know how I dislike him and his kind!”

"I am just stating a fact. Sooner or later you will be having a wild and great sex with him.”

“Over my dead beautiful body!" She retorted before the door on the left side opened. Blake got inside.

"Kenji will have his hands full. I will be your instructor today .Don't worry, since this is your first day, I will be gentle." He said while looking at her.

"Oh my!" Pauline gasped as she looked at Blake as he flexed his muscles.

His grayish blue eyes were on Heather and they were unreadable.
