Chapter 48

Pauline and Eve were startled when Blake cursed furiously and got Heather’s arms.

"Blake!" Called Eve.

"Oh no!" exclaimed Pauline.

He didn’t seem to hear them as he pulled Heather closer to him by gripping her arms.

"S-Sweetheart.." She mumbled and looked at the two women. "Why didn't you tell me about that?!" he asked while his are glaring.

"That was nothing and we weren’t yet together that time…sweetheart!” she protested when his grip tightened.

"Will you stop that Blake! You are hurting her!" Eve commanded.

Heather couldn’t look at the other woman. She felt really uncomfortable and embarrassed because they were witnessing how Blake was with her when he was jealous. She just covered the truth a while ago and now they were seeing this first-hand. She couldn’t help sobbing. She heard Blake cursed again before he enveloped her in his arms. He murmured sorry against the top of her head.

Eve sighed while Pauline shook her head.

"Please leave us." he told the two women.

"We need to talk later." Eve said before they went out.

They just stayed like that for a while. She was crying quietly while he had his arms around her Hers hands were on her face.

"Sweetheart I'm sorry." he apologized. He put a small distance between them to remove her hands on her face. He got a handkerchief from his pocket and he wiped her tears gently.

"Your cousin asked me if you are hurting me when you are jealous and I said no. They just witnessed how brutal you can be." She said still crying.

"Sorry sweetheart. I am really trying to control my temper. But I can't do it overnight. Please bear with me. I love you and I don't want to lose you. I know I am such an asshole!!" He said as if to himself before kissing her on the mouth.

She just let him kiss her. She knew he was right. He couldn’t change overnight. She was just hoping that it won’t come to the point where he would hit her because if that would happen she would leave him for good. After the kiss, he held her face between his hands. "Tell me what really happened. That fucking dickhead said he kissed you so I saw red!" he hissed.

"Sweetheart. It was really nothing. His lips barely touched my cheek because I moved away from him quickly. Please let's just forget it." She requested.

He sighed then hugged her again. "You are going back to your unit tomorrow, right?” He asked and she nodded.

"I'll start working on Monday."

"I’ll pick you up from Stacey’s tomorrow then. Please use the car I gave to you to go to work on Monday. Don’t borrow any of Nick’s cars anymore sweetheart.”

"It's okay. You don’t need to do that. Nick’s driver will bring me home. I will tell them that I will not use Stacey’s old car anymore.”

"No. I will get pick you up. I will talk to them. I want them to know about us." he said.

She bit her bottom lip. "Err sweetheart, I haven’t told Stacey about us.”

He held her a little away from him. He knitted his brows. “Why not?” There was a trace of irritation in his voice.

She moistened her lips and touched his left cheek.

"It’s because they want you to make more effort in wooing me before I come back to yiou.” She said with a small smile and his frown deepened, “But I couldn’t wait to be yours again any longer because I love you." she said huskily.

His eyes turned dark and his frown disappeared. He kissed her again. This time they shared a French kiss. One of his hands cupped her left breast while the other one supported her back and arched it. His lips went down to her neck. She made a small sound of pleasure. When she felt him nibbled then suck some parts of her neck, "Sweetheart...no..." She protested quietly. He was giving her love bites. He just groaned but continued marking her as his.

Loud knocks broke the spell. Blake cursed because he had to stop what he was doing to her.

"BLAKE!" Came Eve’s voice.

He sighed then raked his fingers through his hair. " Eve won’t leave us alone until we talked. Fix yourself sweetheart." He told her.

Before opening the door, he planted a firm kiss on her lips. "Wait for me sweetheart." He said before closing the door behind him.

"What?!" He asked Eve after closing the door.

"Is she okay? Did you hurt her?!" His cousin’s voice was steely.

"I will never hurt her!" he hissed.

Eve hit his arms twice and Blake's jaw clenched. "And what the hell you think you did to her a while ago?!" She asked angrily.

He sighed heavily. He leaned his back on the wall next to the door. He placed his hands on his head as if in frustration.

" I already apologized to her. I am really trying to control my anger." he said agonizingly.

"What if Stacey knew about this? What do you think she would say and do? She might take Heather away from you!”

He cursed then turned around to hit the wall with his fist.

"BLAKE!!"

He faced her again. He looked sorry and regretful.

"The last thing I want is to hurt her. I admit that I grab her hand and I sometimes drag her but I will never hit her. We already talked and we are okay. She understands me. I love her, Eve. I really do. I won't let anyone take her from me. Heather and I will solve our problems together." he said and Eve just shook her head.

"I know you and Stacey wanted her to give me a hard time before getting her back. I understand that. You just want me to prove how much she means to me. She is very important to me. Not seeing her for a few hours is alreadt pure agony. Please don’t tell Stacey about what you saw and that she already said yes to me. She doesn’t want Stacey to know yet.”

"Only if you promise that you will take care of her."

He nodded ."No need to say that. I will. I may be a jealous jerk but I do love her. Eventually I will marry her." he revealed.

Eve felt his sincerity so she just heaved a sigh. "Okay. I won't tell Stacey but please stop being so damn jealous! That would really affect your relationship. I have seen how Heather is trying to change. I know she loves you too so take care of her and your relationship."

"I promise. I will take care of her. I will be lost without her. This is for keeps." He said sounding serious.

It's a good thing that Blake and Axle acted professionally. They still performed as if nothing bad happened between them. Axle’s lips had a cut but Eve was able to do something about it. She rubbed Axle's injured lips with ice. Since the stage was a bit dark, no one in the audience noticed it.

Heather just enjoyed watching and listening to them. Blake allowed her to watch in exchange of her promise to just had her eyes on him and no one else’s. His eyes almost never left hers too as he played. After the performance, Axle went down first. Eve talked to him for a few moments before he finally left. Blake ignored him. He went straight to her when he went down from the stage. He kissed her on the lips which made her blush. The others teased them.

"Can we get out of here sweetheart? I want us to be alone” He whispered in her ear.

"Wouldn’t that be rude? Besides, Stacey knows I am with Pauline and she will drive me home. " she whispered back.

He flashed his clit-tingling smile before he gently pulled her up. "I want to be alone with my girlfriend. We have to go now.” He announced while looking at Pauline. “ I will take her to Stacey’s , don’t worry. You can stay so you and Bryan can get to know each other better.” He said to Pauline.

Eve heard what he said. "You can't take Heather with you. I don’t trust you a bit. You might bring her to your unit not to Stacey’s.”

He let out a sound as if to express his annoyance.

"Babe, let them go. You are sounding like a mother hen." Lance joked. Eve made a face at her fiance.

"Listen to Lance. We are not kids. I just want us to be alone. Besides, dear cousin, I am not asking for your permission. I just wanted you to all know." he said with a grin.” We are going now.” he told the others.

Pauline stood up and kissed Heather on the cheek. "Take it easy. Have fun!" She whispered then giggled.

Blake chuckled when he heard what her friend said.

"Sweetheart, I will go to the restroom first.” She told him.

“I will go with you.”

"Pauline and I will go." She pulled her friend’s hand.

"Don’t be too long okay?" he ordered.

She rolled her eyes and Pauline giggled.

“Gosh chummy Blake is so into you! He couldn’t wait to be alone with you!” Pauline said giddily. “Wait for me inside, I have to make a call to my sister first.”

She nodded at her . She was glad that the restroom was empty. She went to the third cubicle on the left. She saw a red spot on her underwear and almost sighed. Blake would be disappointed because she had her period. It was a good thing that she was bringing a tampon since she knew this week her period would come. She was was about to go out when she heard women's voices.

"Wow Sir Blake is really something else! He is so hot but I wouldn’t want to be his girl!”

“I agree! His girlfriend needs a pain killer for headaches for sure!” Another female voice said.

“So tell me what really happened! We can’t talk about it outside! You are so lucky that Neo is your boyfriend!” Said the female voice she heard first. "Did he really hear Sir Blake talking to his ex?”

“How did you know it was his ex?" Asked female number two.

"I heard his ex’s name is Kristel. Didn’t you know?"

Heather’s heart skipped a beat. She placed her palm on her chest.

Blake talked to Kristel? About what? She asked herself.
