Heather was thinking of telling Jay to just bring her to Pauline’s place but for sure her boss knew her unit’s address since it was written in her resume.

"Please Jay don’t drop me off directly at the condominium’s entrance. Drop me at the convenience store nearby. It’s only five minutes on foot from the building. I will just walk" She pleaded.

"I just hope that he is worth it." Came his reply.

"I don't think you have the right to make such a comment."

He didn't react but she saw him grip the steering wheel.

Javier Vergara is the co-owner of JK's Apparel, a business he shares with his sister Katarina "Kay" Vergara, who is now married to the business tycoon Tom Sanchez. Javier is also a part-time model of their clothing line. He is one of the most sought- after bachelor in town.

Blake clenched his fists after reading an online article about Heather’s new boss.

"Who’s that cuzz?” Eve suddenly asked behind him. “ He’s good-looking!” She added which made him cursed.

"Hey! Why are you so touchy? And who is that?” His cousin sat across from him with a heavy frown.

"He is Heather's fucking boss!" he said angrily.

Eve's lips formed a big O as she nodded her head. "I am really surprised that you let her work for such a handsome boss" she commented.

" I didn't know that this dickhead is her boss! I am not stupid to allow her to work with this asshole if I did! Bullshit!!" he bawled. He angrily turned off the laptop ."She has a lot of explaining to do! I have a feeling that she is not planning to tell me about him! That asshole should be ready for what I will do to him!” he rasped.

"Chill cuzz. Maybe she didn’t know too that she would be working for a male boss. And if ever she wants to keep it from you, can you blame her knowing your temper and possessiveness? You should talk to her first before you start hitting someone again. Don’t make her lose face. Hear her out first. Have you talked to her by the way?" Eve asked.

"She hasn’t answered any of my calls yet!”

He then took his phone from his pocket. A message from Heather just came in.

I am sorry I couldn't take your calls during the meeting sweetheart. Don't worry I am in my unit now .See you later. I love you.

He gripped his phone then rose from the chair. “I have to go! Take charge of the bar!” He told Eve.

Heather didn't have the guts to call Blake. She knew he was angry so she just decided to send him a message. Anyway they can talk later. She took her clothes off and went to the bathroom for a quick shower. She checked her phone after her shower. She sighed when Blake had no missed calls or messages. He was definitely mad at her. She had to tell him that her boss was a man but she won’t say that Jay was her former suitor. She heaved a sigh again before slathering her arms and legs with Wild Honeysuckle body cream by Bath and Body Works. She was glad that she could already use a panty liner since her period was almost gone. She was used to sleeping in just her undies. She turned off the pin lights and put on the lampshade near her bed then lied down. She covered her lower body with the comforter.

Blake drove his motorcycle like a madman. During the drive, he was thinking of ways to make sure Heather would not be taken away from him by any asshole. It was high time that he did this,. He was now standing beside her bed. He couldn't take his eyes off her. She looked so desirable. He was running his eyes on her creamy shoulders, neck and cleavage. She had a lacy red bra on. He was sure she was wearing a matching underwear. He wondered if she still had her monthly period. He swallowed. As expected, he was having a hard on. He sighed then took off his shirt. He carefully laid his body next to hers. He caught his breath again when he peeked under the duvet. She was wearing exactly what he imagined, a lacy red bikini. With a lot of care, he covered again her body with the comforter .His body froze when she turned to him then she settled her body comfortably beside him. She seemed to be having a dream.

"Sweetheart…" she murmured before resting her head on his shoulder. She was fast asleep.

He carefully and slowly enveloped her in his arms. He kissed the top of her head lightly.

Damn! You smell delicious sweetheart! He murmured to himself.

He just laid like that, enjoying holding her in his arms until he fell asleep too.

Heather was having an erotic dream. Blake was making passionate love to her. His lips were on her neck. She touched his broad shoulders.

"Hmm…sweetheart..." she moaned. Her dream felt so real.

Blake’s other hand was now on her left breast He was kneading it through her bra. She opened her eyes only to be surprised. It's not a dream! Her man was really with her!

"Sweetheart?!" she exclaimed.

He stopped kissing her and raised his head. He was looking at her with narrowed eyes. Anger and desire were visible in his eyes.

She sat up and covered her breasts with the sheet. "W-What time is it now? What time did you get here?” She asked nervously.

He sat up on the bed too without tearing his eyes off her. He leaned his back against the headboard. Now he felt his anger was back. They could always make love later.

Heather stopped herself from staring at his bare broad chest. She didn’t know how to start telling him about her boss and his yummy body wasn’t helping..

Blake checked his sports watch. "It’s 5:30 a.m. I came here half past ten last night to talk to you but you were fast asleep.” he said dryly.

She also leaned against the headboard while still holding the sheet.

"So how's the early dinner meeting? Did you have fun?" Blake asked in a cold voice..

He was not touching her but Heather could sense his anger. She looked at him sideways. "S-Sorry sweetheart. I didn’t expect that to happen. And my boss ordered me not to use my phone during the meeting. He even turned off his phone too." she said in a small voice. She almost looked away when she saw his face's dark expression.

"He didn’t want the two of you to be disturbed?" he asked in a scary tone.

"It would have been rude if I took a call during the meeting.” She said.

"How is it working for Javier Vergara?” He asked. Menace was evident in his tone.

Her heart seemed to stop beating for several seconds. Oh dear! How did he know? She asked herself.

A sneering smile broke his handsome face. "Were you surprised, sweetheart?" He sounded sarcastic.

Her palms were getting sweaty. "H-How..." she began to ask but he cut in.

"Were you planning to tell me or not?" he asked chillingly.

She lowered her eyes. "I didn't know that he is in-charge since his sister is out of the country. I didn’t also know that he is the brother of Kaye. I had no idea how to tell you but I am not planning to keep it a secret forever." She raised her eyes. "Sweetheart I love you so much but I want this job. I don’t want to job hop. Besides my dad knew that I started working today. Please understand me and don’t be angry. We only have a boss-employee relationship.

Blake's face was impassive. A muscle was jerking in his jaw. .His eyes were dark as he stared at her. It suddenly dawned on him that however jealous he was with her boss, he couldn’t demand her to quit. His woman said that this was important to her. He might be very possessive but he wasn’t heartless. He loved her too damn much that was why he was so afraid of losing her. He would do everything to keep her.

Heather was almost holding her breath as she waited for him to talk.

"Okay. As much as possible I will try to understand you but if I hear or see anything unacceptable, I will do what I feel I should.” He said.

She let out a heavy sigh then her face lit up. "Thank you sweetheart .I promise that I will be a good girl." She hugged him. "This job is very promising that’s why I want to give it a try.” She added.

"Since I will do what you want which is to understand you, I guess just to be fair, you have to do what I want.” Blake said tonelessly.

She moved a little away from him to look at him. She smiled. "Hmm...sure sweetheart. We can already make love today..." she said huskily. She felt her nipples hardened when she thought of giving her body to him again. She was sure that was what he wanted.

Blake's eyes turned molten. "We'll do something about that later. But first, listen to me."

She chewed her bottom lip. Her man sounded serious but she was ready to hear what he had to say. She was happy that he didn’t ask her to quit her new job. She would do anything to give him sexual pleasure. “I am listening." she said.

He crossed his arms in front of his chest." You know very well how much I love you and I don’t want to lose you right?" he asked. She nodded. "I thought of solutions to lessen my possessiveness a little." he continued.

Heather’s eyes widened. She badly waned to know what he means. "What solutions sweetheart?" she asked.

"After you heard them, you have to choose one." His tone was serious.

"If that will make you stop hitting men, I am willing to do anything.." She replied.

"Good." Blake said with satisfaction. He ran his eyes on her face again before speaking. "Regarding my hitting assholes, that could be prevented as long as I don’t see anything wrong, then they are safe.."

She rolled her eyes. Well I can't win them all! She thought.

"Don't forget to choose one after hearing them, like it or not! " he said in a firm tone.

"Alright! I will! ” She said sounding exasperated.

"Okay! These are the ways I thought would reassure me that I won’t lose you…”

Heather lost color when he finished saying them. "Are you fucking out of your mind sweetheart?!!" she shrieked.

Blake had his jaw clenched and his eyes narrowed. "Now you have to choose!” He demanded.

“No! The choices are so unfair! They are all to your advantage!” She complained..

“We made a deal. Unless you want me to do something extreme, you have to choose one. You know me sweetheart.”

“Gosh! You are crazy!” She said almost at the verge of tears.
