Chapter 75

She didn't know that her man asked her sister's help to contact her parents days before she saw him kissing his ex. He planned everything. He talked to her dad and asked her hand for marriage. Going to Australia after he proposed to her was included in his plans. But her dad said that he and her mom would be the one going to the Philippines.

"So you two have been talking without me knowing about it!" she jokingly accused them.

She was sitting on the sofa next to her dad. Her mom was beside him. Blake and his parents were with them. The others were eating in the dining room but there was no divider so everyone could see one another. Her father had his arm on her shoulder. Her mom smiled while Blake was grinning.

"Your daddy didn't like Blake at first simply because we were both shocked. We didn't know that you have a boyfriend." Her mother commented.

"So Aunt Amor didn't tell you ? I was worried that she will tell mom. That means you only got to know about us when Blake called you?" she asked her father.

"Yes." Blake and her dad replied at the same time and they all laughed.

She had to say thank you to her Aunt Amor once she saw her again. Then Stacey walked to them.

"I was having second thoughts in helping Blake contact mommy and Uncle John at first. I felt that they are going to be angry because you haven't told them about you and him but I sensed that my future brother-in-law here is really serious about you and is kind of desperate." Her sister joked.

Blake chuckled he was sitting across her and her dad. "That I was, desperate." he said while he looked at her lovingly.

Her father cleared his throat before speaking again. "I have to be honest that I didn't like the idea of you getting married so quickly. You only met several weeks ago. And you haven't even proven yourself by being really independent. But since I talked to Blake, I came to realize that you actually have changed. The selfish daughter that made me really disappointed was gone. I may feel that you are getting married too soon but what made me agree with all these is it came to me that your fiance really loves you and will take good care of you. I just hope that you won't go back to being bratty again knowing that he will give you anything and everything you want." Her dad said dryly but he had a smile on his face.

She smiled too and kissed him on the cheek. She was so happy that her father had finally forgiven her. But she was happier because he liked Blake for her.

"I'm sorry to disappoint your daughter sir . But contrary to what you said, I won't give in to what she wants. Like you, I didn't approve of her attitude before. I will not let her go back to the old Heather Williams who was disliked by many but a lot of men desired." He said with a frown.

Her dad chuckled while she scowled. "That's why I like you for her. You have tamed my daughter. You can call me dad too, son."

Blake beamed and nodded. She on the other hand pouted.

"You have to occasionally give in to me unless you want to sleep on the couch sweetheart." she said.

Everybody laughed.

Oceans of food were delivered. Blake really thought of everything carefully. The desserts were in the gazebo. There were different kinds of tarts and cakes. Eve asked Blake to feed her some sweets. She smiled knowingly at him when she saw he got a strawberry cupcake. He also let out his clit-tingling smile. He was just bluffing when he told Kristel that he didn't eat strawberries. They both laughed lightly when they both remembered that. She wasn’t embarrassed when Blake showed his affection to her even with their families witnessing everything. He always pulled her to him by her waist. He even kissed her on the lips from time to time. A few times he whispered I love you to her. He even brought her to the gazebo and kissed her passionately. He made sure that only his back could be seen by the others in the garden. He knew that she might feel comfortable with his touches and kisses even in front of other people but French kiss was an entirely different matter. He could no longer control his desire to kiss her passionately. He couldn’t be satisfied with just a smack or a peck.

"I love you very much sweetheart." he told her.

"I do love you so much too."

He kissed her again before going back to the others.

Her parents could only stay a couple of days. They would come back again for the wedding which would be after a month. If Blake had his druthers, he wanted to have the wedding immediately but his mother said no. She said that it should be special not rushed. According to her, one month wasn’t even enough but as expected, Blake complained. His mom asked him what kind of wedding he wanted but he said they would talk about it first. Her own parents were okay with anything. Eve and Lance said that Blake couldn’t wait to marry her. They had been engaged longer but they would get married earlier than them. Blake just grinned and kissed her on the lips.

To her surprise, Stacey and Eve planned an engagement party for them .They scheduled it one day before her parents went back to Australia. Blake just said that they would go out on a date so she dressed nicely. She chose a red dress. As usual she made sure that she looked and smelled wonderful. RL Pink#2 by Ralph Lauren was the scent she used. She also took extra care of her make-up. Blake frowned when he saw her. She was showing a little cleavage.

" What are you wearing?!" he asked.

"Sweetheart, this is okay. It's our date so I have to look good."

His frown deepened. "You don't need to wear such sexy clothes to look good!" he said sounding irritated.

She touched his rigid jaw and smiled lovingly at him. "This is not too sexy sweetheart. Don't be angry. Besides I don't think other men will look at me since they will be intimidated with my fiancé’s hunky frame and his big tattoo on his arm. They wouldn’t want to be smacked." She joked to lighten the mood. He narrowed his eyes before pulling her to him. He kissed her on the side of her neck.

"Sweetheart..." she quietly protested when his lips travelled even lower.

She was worried that they would be late for their reservation if he decided to have their sexy time. Blake murmured a bad word. If it weren’t for their engagement party, he would want to make love to her first. But Eve messaged him a few minutes ago telling him that everybody was at the venue already. Their parents, some close relatives and his and Heather’s friends were there. With one deep sigh, he released her.

"Okay let’s go.” he said.

She was so happy. There had been a lot of surprises for her this week. Now she realized that a lot of people loved her. She had a smile on her face as her eyes roamed around the room. She just came back from the powder room. Her parents and Blake’s were chatting while seated at one table. Her friends were at another table with some of Blake’s band members. She was looking for him while she was walking to where Eve and Stacey were seated.

“Hey you shouldn’t scowl. It will spoil your beauty.” Stacey joked.

"Have you seen Blake? I only went to the bathroom and now I don’t know where he is." she said while pouting her lips and sat sulkily.

"I saw him went out awhile ago. He was on the phone. Maybe there are more guests coming so he went out to welcome them." commented Eve.

She rose from the chair, “ I will check him outside.”

She just got out of the function room of the hotel when she saw Hector and Elaine coming. The other woman's eyes have a certain glint in them.

"Hi." Her greeting was only for Hector. She didn’t want to look at Elaine since she might her ruin her mood. She was glad to see Hector minus his bitchy wife.

"Heather, I'm so happy for you and Blake. Well I knew that he wouldn’t let you go anymore." He said with a grin while Elaine snorted.

She smiled at him. If Elaine wasn’t with him, he probably would have given her a bear hug.

"Thank you. By the way have you seen him?"

She noticed that he tried to avoid her eyes. “Err, yes.”

"He is with Kristel somewhere." Elaine said.

She looked at Hector's wife and saw that she was smirking. She pasted a fake smile on her face too.

"Oh okay. Even if I haven’t been a desperate woman like her, I am still a woman so I feel kind’a sorry for her. It must be so hard to force yourself on someone who doesn’t want you any longer. Well since she made an effort to come here, the least I could do is say hi. I have never been an ungrateful host. " she said while still smiling. "Please go inside and enjoy the food. Blake and we will be with you in a moment." she added.

"What are you doing here?!" Blake angrily asked Kristel.

They were at the side of the lobby. He chose to talk to her here where waiters could see them. He didn't trust her a bit. He didn't expect her to come. He thought that after last time, she wouldn’t show her face to him or Heather ever again.

She ran her index finger on his arm which made him frown deeper. He gripped her wrist to remove her hand. He looked around to see if any of the guests could see them. He sighed in relief . There were three men in business suits who were about to enter the lift. He also could see two waiters carrying a tall cake surrounded by cupcakes. His and Heather’s name were written on the cake.

"I want to offer my sympathy instead of congratulations that’s why I am in black. You are making a huge mistake by choosing that bitch over me!" Kristel’s said through gritted teeth. She raised her hand to his collar and he reprimanded her before removing her hand. "You are my first lover remember? I am sure it was also unforgettable for you. I could never forget our first time together. I am sure I am the only virgin you had." She said huskily.

"Oh really?" asked a female voice which was full of sarcasm.

Blake cursed under his breath. He turned around and he saw his fiancee standing a few feet from them.

Heather eyed her man's ex with a raised brow. The chubi was wearing black. She looked as if she was in a funeral. Well she would give her a reason to mourn. Kristel was glaring at her. Hate, jealousy and envy were evident in her eyes.

She positioned her body in a way that would make her appear sexier in her red tube dress. "Welcome to our engagement party bitch!" she said with a saccharine tone.

This was a perfect moment. The bitch didn’t seem to want to stop throwing herself at Blake even after what happened at the town house where she and Blake made love while she could hear their moans. This moment was better since they were in a public place. If this whore still won’t stop after tonight, she would ask someone to dig a hole for her grave because she would gladly strangle the bitch right here, right now!

Time for my sweet revenge! She thought.
