Toes
SHE painted the customer's toenails that afternoon. Its chosen color is black. That she is no longer surprised and Tricia Montalban suits that color because of her complexion.
"There, just two more fingers!" Tricia Montalban was even happier to be applauded as a result on her own feet.
"It's nice, it's suited to you," she said to Tricia.
"Yeah. Adan would be happy, when I showed him that."
"I heard that your boyfriend is Adan Martinez."
"You know him?"
"Yes, I also used to study at LM High. I was just kicked out so I stopped. Besides, there is no payment. You know, LM High is a private school."
"Ah, that." Tricia frowned when the light in that part of their house went out. They are in the living room.
When this ends, it looks like the light will be lost...
"Soledad?" Tricia calls the maid.
"Your maid isn't here, she said goodbye earlier."
"Huh? I don't think I heard her say goodbye."
"You're busy on your cell phone."
"Ouch!"
"I'm sorry, madam, the light is turning off. I didn't notice that you were stabbed."
"That's okay. Please hurry up before the lights go out completely."
"Yes."
"Wait, aw!" Again Tricia was hurt. She felt that the manicurist stabbed her in the leg with a nail cutter? "Wait, is that a nail cutter?"
"Yes." Tricia screamed when the light in the living room went out completely, along with the intense lightning outside.
If only it was clear, she would have seen the manicurist grin. Because everyone agrees with its plan.
Tricia Montalban did have guards, but they were outside and Tricia and she were the only people inside the house. She noticed earlier that the Montalban's maid named Soledad, had fled. Maybe she will meet her gardener's boyfriend in the other house.
Of course, before you plan something, make sure you won't have any problems.
"Stop, there's no electricity. The unfinished nail can be done tomorrow," Tricia commanded the manicurist, who seemed to ignore the loss of power even if that was important to her.
The F!
"Okay." Even though she said okay, she's still going on.
"I said, stop. Let my feet go."
"No!"
"Wha--" Tricia just felt something sharp sink into her feet.
She was just screaming in pain when the manicurist suddenly strangled her…
Feet, knees, shoulders, head …
"You ---" Tricia's eyes widened when she heard that particular nursery rhyme. It just sounded faint, enough for just the two of them to hear.
"Yes, it's me, Tricia." The killer insisted on strangling Tricia Montalban, after all she already knew her.
Good thing that the four friends have forgotten about their killer.
Yes. Because Tricia Montalban also will die so she can join her friends in hell.
My toes, my knees, my shoulder, my head …
Randall was about to fly his car. He drove as far as he could. Earlier, they received a call from Tricia Montalban's relatives-- she was dead. And as they had expected, the killer had already completed the nursery rhyme foot, knee, shoulder, head, when the killer killed Tricia.
The car was not nearly ready to park but Adan jumped from there and hurried to the house of the Montalbans. The house is surrounded by yellow tape, curious people, police cars and police. They even found that Tricia Montalban's body was being taken in the ambulance.
"Tricia ..."
"Calm down, Adan," Ashey said to her student, even though she knew that it was vague to calm down to what had happened, she would still hold on to those two words, because she had nothing else to say, not even in herself.
How to calm down? Now that Tricia Montalban was killed right inside her house. And they hear from the cops that with no lead who the manicurist who had previously served Tricia is.
Too vague.
How is the killer able to work clean? Is there a perfect crime?
Ashey also seems to want to believe Adan's theory, that Therese committed the murder. It’s impossible to leave no trace of the killer if it’s a normal person, ’right? It is easier to think that the soul committed the murder and that he has no doubt about supernatural things and that he is the proof that it happens even without a clear explanation.
"This is harder than I thought," said Azraelle who was next to him. Ashey let out a deep breath.
She did not know what to say. She couldn't think of anything to say. She was still really shocked that even with bodyguards, Tricia was still killed.
"The killer stabbed her in the feet. She even had a nail- all her toenails. But what killed her was the lack of air due to choking," Xian whispered to them.
Deliberately whispering to prevent Adan who remained dumbfounded next to the four of them from hearing that. Randall approaches Adan and tries to talk to him.
"What disgusting shit!" Azraelle exclaimed.
"Really disgusting shit," Xian's second motion. "Also brings a severe headache to me. I've been concentrating since the death of Fatima but I really don't have a soul to absorb."
"Don't force it, child."
"Azraelle, seriously, are you feeling anything?"
"Hmn ..."
"I accept that you are more powerful than me, but can you teach me things that you think I can study, can't you?"
"Human, you're too young to involve yourself in unbelievable things in your world."
"I didn't get involved myself. I just happened to be gifted," Xian teased the angel. The angel just grinned and raised an eyebrow at him.
"That's the way it is."
"Azraelle, when are we going to meet Malena?"
Ashey asked Azraelle, as she looked back at them.
"Anytime."
"Why?" Xian asked Ashey.
"I just sensed that we really needed to talk to her."
"Ouch, don't tell me, your guts are now your guardian angel huh!" Ashey's words seemed to hurt the angel. The teacher just smiled. Again, she can't be happy at this moment.
"And when did you become a guardian angel?" Xian smirked at the angel.
"Shut up, kid."
