fter a long shower and another quickie, I sat in the bedroom in front of the mirror and got ready for the evening. I was excited to see where Kian wanted to take me.
I sat on the floor in just a towel and got to work on my makeup. We went shopping that day and Kian insisted on buying me new expensive make-up products. I tried these out and was curious to see whether the promised 24-hour hold was really promising.
I kept it to a minimum and only use foundation, powder, eyeliner, brown eyeshadow and mascara.
I rummaged in my suitcase for a suitable dress and held two variants in front of my nose. Once a simple black halter dress that went down to my knees and a summer dress with criss-cross straps on the back and a green flower pattern. The choice wasn't easy, but I chose the latter. It matched the evening weather perfectly and since I didn't know exactly where Kian was going, it should be fine.
I blow dried my wet hair and loosely pinned it up. I didn't like walking around with my hair down on such hot summer days. This made me sweat even more and stuck penetratingly to my body.
Kian was already done and sat on the couch in the living area. He was wearing dark shorts and a dark short-sleeved shirt. His hair was loosely combed back, with strands hanging down his forehead. He looked so damn attractive that I would love to jump him again. I really liked Kian...
"Ready, Princess?" he asks when he sees me too. I just nodded. "You look beautiful," he added, standing up. Kian ran up to me and kissed me passionately.
Together we ran to his car and drove off. The ride was calm. Everyone had their own thoughts until we stopped at a parking lot. I looked around and could only see the sea again. Confused about what we were doing here, Kian took my hand and led me down to a jetty. A yacht we were heading for seemed to be waiting for us. "Good evening, Mr. Sheeran," a man greeted before we entered the yacht. She was damn big and defied luxury.
Kian walked up a flight of stairs with me and stopped in front of a table that was plentifully set with food. Even fairy lights were attached to the railing. It had a very romantic atmosphere. "All for my princess," Kian whispered in my ear. I couldn't help but grin, liking the gesture. Kian kept surprising me over and over again and I started to like it too. "Thanks, Kian." I turned to him and kissed him on the mouth. He really was the best thing that could have ever happened to me.
We sat down on the bench, Kian across from me and started eating the delicious smelling food.
We talked about trivial topics and got to know each other even better. I learned that Kian was an only child and grew up with his best friend Jesse, who seemed almost like brothers. His parents were both dead, which was really a shame. I would have liked to have met her as soon as Kian spoke about her. His mother was a kind-hearted person and took care of her son even as he grew up, since he was the only one they had. It was touching to hear something so beautiful, even though I never had it. Kian became a lawyer out of love for his father and has since run his own law firm.
Eventually we only drank the white wine by the time we finished dinner and dessert. We'd been talking for hours and it felt like I'd known him for a while. Then Kian got up and briefly disappeared into the interior of the yacht. A moment later he was back and holding something in his hand. As he sat down, he handed me the oblong velvet box. "For me?" I asked in surprise and looked at him with wide eyes. He nodded smiling and motioned for me to open it.
My hands were shaking slightly from excitement. When I opened the lid, a beautiful silver chain shone out at me. She had a small pendant with two hearts crossed into each other. His initials and mine were engraved, which really touched me. “We haven't known each other for that long, but I want to prove to you that I will always be with you. No matter what happens, this will always remind you of me. And it will also remind you of how far you've come.” The meaning behind it made me sob. Little tears rolled down my cheeks because I've never been given anything so beautiful.
Kian stood up and wiped away my tears, then kissed me and took the box from me. He took out the necklace and then put it on me. From now on I decided never to take them off again.
I pulled Kian towards me to be able to kiss him. So many emotions and feelings were put into it. He could have had anyone, and yet he chose me. He wanted me by his side...
It became clear to me again and again that I was falling more and more in love with this man. I actually fell in love with Kian Sheeren, who was actually my client and a successful man.
