Tahti was already regretting listening to April's advice to invite Demir over. She knew there was no way word about the get together wouldn't spread to more people as far as he was involved. Her house was filled with a bunch of unwanted guests and there was nothing she could to about it than to just live through the night and enjoy the games.
"Six lettered word starting Z." April called and made a gesture of a thumb out in fist.
Everyone fell silent as the question had them all thinking. No one wanted the drinking penalty.
"Zenith." Demir spoke out next, with his fist over April's.
"Gosh, I'm gonna go crazy." Jennie screamed as she ran all her fingers through her hair.
"What six lettered word starts with z?"
"Zebras." Sol said, her fist on top of Demir's, who exchanged looks with a confused Tahti.
"Zealot." Herley said.
"Zanier."
"Zareba."
Something popped in to her head and she hurriedly stuck over her fist over Jasmine's, before blurting out her answer.
"Zigzag"
"Monique's the loser." Jennie wagged out her small pinkish tongue and everyone broke into another frenzy of howling and laughter before they pulled back to sit and cheer Monique on as she downed her cup in an instant.
"She's a good drinker." Herley said as Monique wiped her lips with the back of her palm.
April was about to call out another letter when the doorbell rang, interrupting their game and their head whipped round with it.
"Expecting someone?" April asked.
"This late?" Tahti sent her a 'are you serious' look before she pulled herself to rise before walking towards the door.
"Let's keep playing." Someone said, but she was on high alert and wasn't even in the mood to figure out who it was.
"Hey, keep quiet." Jennie said and Tahti slightly cracked opened the door just enough to peep through, only for it to be completely forced open by a man she'd seen around most times. He barged in with a girl trailing behind him and they both had hardened looks in their faces.
"Don't you know how late it is?" The man shouted throwing the question to everyone in the house but somehow keeping eye contact with Tahti. "You guys are being way too loud for comfort." He blurted out and the crew suddenly quieted down.
"I'm sorry." She replied as she picked at her skin prying her eyes off his trapping hardened look.
"There are other people around who would really appreciate silence, you're the only one around here."
"I have s-some friends over, so..." She was trying to explain to the obviously pissed off man in front of her when Demir walked towards her from behind.
"We'll try to bring it down a bit." He said, dropping his hand on her shoulder and saving her from stammering. Also, unknowingly getting the attention of the girl who had come with the man.
"You better do, I won't want to have to come back here for the same reasons. Babe, let's go." The man said as he turned to leave leaving behind the girl that was probably his girlfriend, she was lost in thought her eyes fixed one Demir.
"Hello" Tahti called to her face with disgust and that seemed to snap her out of her thoughts "Your man just left".
"Oh, b-bye" she said waving to Demir as she turned to catwalk down the stairs, and Tahti guessed she was hoping to entice him on her way out.
She reached to close the door after Demir dropped his hand and returned back before she walked back to where she had been seated.
She had barely sat down when April leaned over to whisper. "You were like a couple."
"Be quiet." She whispered back and Herley sighed.
"Let's stop."
"We can't." April said as she reached out to pick one of the empty bottles of beer. "Let's play the spinning game."
"Spin it." Jennie yelled.
Tahti rolled her eyes with a frustrated sigh as Jennie placed the bottle in the middle and everyone cheered as she gave it a spin. There was no use stopping them.
The bottle stopped and everyone raised their heads, with bated breaths to see first set of fall guys of the kissing game.
"What the hell..." April said on discovering it was Chris and Jasmine.
"Kiss."
"Be quiet." Chris said as he pushed aside the jacket on his lap.
"Are you going to do it?"
"Move over."
Tahti was dumbfounded as Jasmine neared, a serious look on her face. "What?...Really?"
Jasmine stretched her hand to wrap around his neck as she locked lips briefly with him before he pulled back.
"Let me do it properly." He said and leaned to kiss her long and hard to everyone's utmost amazement.
"This is crazy." April scoffed and Tahti moved her eyes to cast a glance towards Demir, to see Adriana dallying with him.
"Guys, be quiet. The neighbors will complain." She said.
"Let's spin again." April said and the gang gleed as she spined the bottle for another round and everyone's eyes were fixated on the bottle as it went.
The head of the bottle finally made a stop pointing towards Sol and everyone's eyes trailed down to the bottle's end which was between Herley and Jennie.
"It's me." An excited Herley screamed and a hammered Jennie pushed him aside.
"What are you talking about?" She asked before turning to Sol.
"It's me. Sol, come here."She stretched out her hand to beckon to Sol, who looked nervous.
"She must be drunk." Adriana said and Jennie leaned towards Sol, who was still seated.
"You're going to do it? You're really going to kiss her?" Tahti blinked.
Sol hurriedly downed the glass of beer in front of her and Jennie pouted as she retreated back to her seat. Heat rose to Sol's cheeks and everyone were surprised as she suddenly rose to pick up her jacket.
"Where are you going?" April asked.
"I'm going out for a smoke."
"What about me?" Jennie asked, drunkenly and Herley turned to her.
"She left because of you."
"Be quiet." She blurted and Sol's phone rang as she was closing the door on her way out.
"Hey Sol." Sarah called and Jennie reached out to pick the phone to look at the ID.
"Ralph?...Who is this guy?"
"Ralph?" April asked and Jennie turned to her.
"Yeah."
"That's not important right now. What's important is to spin." April yelled and spined the bottle again.
The bottle spined along with their eyes and it slowly stopped in front of Tahti and Demir.
