"Today's work was excellent." Andre applauded as he looked over the students works, after that days drawing class and Tahti raised her head to see Demir, who was looking at her.
Their model for the drawing class hadn't turned up and a panicked Andre and Michelle were left with no choice, than to persuade Demir, who had been out having lunch with them, into being their model for the day, which had been a surprise to most of her course mates, herst inclusive, as Demir wasn't the type to do modelling even though his physique was awesome.
"They really look cool." Adriana gushed as she moved her eyes from one drawing to another and Tahti couldn't blame her. Demir had totally killed everyone with his poses, starting from his seductive stare at her, to his unbuttoned shirt pose, which had revealed his body, which she'd missed so much. It was even a miracle how she'd been able to concentrate, and finish up her work.
It wasn't only Tahti, who had trouble concentrating. Most of the girls, couldn't keep their eyes from him, which had resulted in the delay in completing their drawing.
Feeling uncomfortable, she tore her eyes off him to look at somewhere else.
A text came into her phone and she took it out of her bag. A smile crossed her lips to realize Josh was at her school.
She turned back to see some of her course mates were leaving, and she spun on her heel to head out of the studio, with Demir's eyes clinging to her back as she headed out.
Josh was sitting at the gazebo near the studio, when she arrived.
"Josh?" She called and he turned to throw a wave at her, as she walked towards him.
"It must have been tough, coming here."
"It's nothing." He smiled as she dropped beside him. "You look hungry."
"Yeah, we've had classes until now. Should we go grab something?" She asked.
He turned to pick up a bag, beside him before dropping it in front of her.
"Here you go."
"What's this?" She asked and peered down to look into the bag, to see a packed lunch.
"You got me lunch?" She gasped, wondering how he knew she was craving something at the moment.
"Not really. I just picked this up for you, on my way here."
"Awn... thanks." She gushed, knowing he was lying though. He wasn't the type to just pick up something for anyone.
"Let me help you." He said and she leaned back to allow him take out the sandwich and cream bun inside the bag.
Tahti's stomach jumped in excitement on seeing the sandwich and cream buns, and she gulped in preparation to bite through the meal.
"Thank you." She said and froze as she was about to dig in.
"What's wrong?" Josh asked and she turned to him.
"What about you?" She asked and he smiled.
"This isus for you. I had something on the way."
"I see." She replied and hurriedly raised it to have a bite, without second thoughts.
Josh reached out to take a cup of chocolate drink from the bag, and Tahti's stomach grumbled as she tried to keep the food down, wanting her to rush it in.
"You must be really hungry." Josh smiled and Tahti looked embarrassed as she raised her head.
"Did you hear that too?"
"Don't mind me. Just eat, okay?" He smiled and she smiled back, with a nod and amidst mouthfuls.
Her craving for food was temporarily satisfied few minutes later and Josh chuckled as he looked at her again.
"Hey, stop laughing." She said, raising a hand.
"Alright. I won't."
"It feels so good."
He turned to her. "What does?"
"Having a considerate friend like you, who knows when I'm hungry." She replied.
"Really?" He asked and she nodded as he slowly tore his eyes from her. "If you want...I can make you meals and bring them to you, whenever you want."
She turned to him, to arch a brow. "You'll be my personal delivery?"
"I'll be anything you want me to be." He smiled and she seemed to consider the ideas, for a moment.
"Until when?"
"Until when you find someone else to be your personal delivery." He replied and she smiled again, knowing he was joking.
Now, this was what she wanted. A relationship which someone who was sincere with her.
Tahti kept sighing as she kicked her foot on her way home, that night. Her mood had been ruined, by the rejection text from the board she had applied for a scholarship to go abroad.
She was probably meant to be stuck in the country.
Something caught her eye and her head slowly whipped around, to see it was the neon colour at the entrance of a familiar bar, the place she had met him for the first time.
Her phone rang and she slipped it out of her denim pocket, before looking down at the caller ID, which bore Demir's name over it. How did he know she was thinking of him at the moment? She thought as she muted her phone and returned it to her denim gown.
She could as well do with a drink, to mope over her rejection, she decided so she walked in.
The stools in front of the counter, were empty and she walked her way towards one of them, recalling it was the very one she had sat on, the night she had met Demir.
"Can I have a glass of scotch?" She asked. "Sure."
Her eyes turned to see the dartboard, as the bartender disappeared, which was a few metres from where she sat and she sighed again and she tore her eyes off it almost immediately, on recalling the games they had played that night.
It was like the memories with Demir were almost everywhere.
Someone slid into the seat beside her and she gulped as she turned, in shock to see who it was. How was he there?
