Hurt and Have
Lunar opens the apartment door which rings the bell. Without thinking, she immediately opened the door. The guest who came turned out to be her mother. She ushered her mother into the apartment, then with anxiety still gripping brought her a welcome drink and snack. She sat with her mother without daring to raise her head.
In the end, she made a sound as well as she thought of the mistake she had made. "Sorry, Mom."
"You're so troublesome."
The mother's words made Lunar lower her head even more. She wasn't completely sorry, but behind that she also felt guilty for causing trouble to her parents.
The sound of a long sigh was heard. "You have no idea how embarrassed we were in front of everyone because of you running away at the wedding. Your father got sick because of that."
Lunar immediately raised her head. "Sick?"
Before her mother came to the apartment, they had talked on the phone. None of them told her how father was doing.
"His condition is getting better. You don't need to worry about that."
"But still I have to come see father's condition."
"No need. You just stay here."
Then the mother got up and looked around the room. "Arkan Gray must be very rich and why are you only allowed to live in an apartment? Doesn't he have a house for you to live in?" She folded arms across her chest with an annoyed expression on her face. To her an apartment was luxurious, but Lunar who married a rich man should be able to get more than that.
While Lunar who had been sitting quietly watching her mother's steps, only stuttered. How does she explain the situation that happened in her marriage relationship?
"This apartment is closer to Arkan's workplace. Therefore, we chose it as a place to live."
Once again a sigh was heard. "How is your relationship with him? Does he really love you?" asked the mother with a probing look.
"Arkan?"
"Of course Arkan. Who else? Do you have another husband?"
Lunar just silent until the mother walked upstairs. She followed the footsteps from behind while thinking about the answer to the question posed. Only she had loved Arkan until now, but she couldn't possibly say that, could she? Her mother would be angry later if she found out about it.
"We love each other." Lunar said slowly.
"That's why you ran away from the wedding?"
The mother stopped, turning around so she could watch her daughter. "Why didn't you tell us from the start. Then you don't need to marry Nico."
The sound of the door distracted those standing on the stairs. They were motionless until someone suddenly appeared. The atmosphere became silent when Arkan turned out to be the one who made the apartment door ring.

"You came home very early today." Lunar said, checking the door to see if it was locked properly.
"You never told me that your mother would come," said Arkan.
Lunar deliberately didn't say it because she thought that Arkan would not agree with it.
"My mother only saw my condition for a moment. After that she will return home."
Arkan observed how the expression that looked worried. "It's better that way because I don't want another stranger in my life."
Lunar stared straight at the man who was now standing before her. Those words seemed to remind her status. She was just a stranger, no different from those close to her. They are all strangers in Arkan's life. She don't know why those blatant words hurt her feelings.
"We will soon be gone from your life."
Arkan found a serious intonation from Lunar's words. "Better that way."
Lunar whose feelings were getting hurt couldn't help, but make her eyes heat up wanting to let out a cry. She held it in so that it only became a thin flake that moistened her eyeballs.
"You hurt my feelings."
Arkan raised a lip, then lifted the lowered chin. The woman's eyes were already welled up with tears and just now had tears flowing. For some reason Lunar like that made him also feel pain. His chest rumbled with painful tightness.
"I hurt you?"
"You shouldn't have said that when I had expressed my feelings to you. Without explaining it, I also already knew that I would have to leave everything behind."
Lunar looked at the man who had no feelings furiously. She had already expressed her feelings and Arkan shouldn't have said something like a 'stranger'. She wants to be someone in Arkan's life during the marriage, even if it's only for a moment. Couldn't the man in front of her at this moment give her a chance?
Lunar's emotions finally faded into sadness. "You are so mean."
Arkan can be said to be unable to see the tears of a woman. Not only to Lunar, but also to Raya which makes it even more difficult for him.
Arkan pulled her and laid her on the bed. Lunar not had time to get up and has to stay where she is because Arkan immediately traps her. Lunar immediately looked away so that the falling tears could be muffled.
Unfortunately, Arkan made those eyes look back at him. What he saw was the sobbing pouring out more and more along with the sobs.
"Do you love me that much that you are too sensitive with what I say?" Arkan said, sounding so heartless just because he didn't want to feel sorry for Lunar.
Compared to that, not only once had he said that Lunar was a foreigner. If at first it was normal, but now Lunar who loves him responds to those words with tears. Then he really has occupied this woman's heart, right?
Lunar consciousness collected a bit after that arrogant sentence came out. She who stole Arkan from Raya seemed to be made like a beggar in love.
"I really love you, Arkan. Don't lie to your heart."
Lunar wiped the tears that rolled down her cheeks, then gaze turned challenging. "My feelings for you are still there until now. Don't know later after our marriage ended. Maybe I'll marry another man and have a small family with our children."
Arkan had already furrowed his brows deeply when Lunar filled the room with hopes that shouldn't be there. "Stop saying what you don't need to say in this marriage. Now you are mine until this marriage ends," he said angrily.
"Then, can you be mine until this marriage ends, Arkan? Treat me like the only woman in your life? We will be happy as husband and wife should be."
How selfish would Lunar be if she asked that?
Arkan was stunned and he couldn't answer the question at all. He could only clench the hand that stuck to the bed. Of course, he can't belong to Lunar alone because Raya is still with him.
"You can have me here, in this room," said Arkan. He cupped Lunar's cheeks, then kissed her gently.
Before asking that question, Lunar already knew the answer. She couldn't have Arkan alone and still stupidly expect something that was absolutely impossible. Why is she so ignorant?
