Back to the Apartment

The daydream seemed so long and made Secretary Ham wonder, what was Lunar daydreaming about all along? Is it possible to daydream about Arkan who is now with Raya?

"Madam want to stop?"

The person who was awakened from her reverie immediately glanced over. "Why? Did something happen again?"

Lunar looked around to assess the situation, but there was nothing like worry. They are in a safe position without any trucks crashing.

"I mean... maybe Madam would like to buy something to eat on the way?"

Lunar wasn't hungry at all because she had eaten before making her way home. For now, she just wanted to get back to the apartment as soon as possible so she could rest when arrived.

"Ah!" Lunar exclaimed, remembering something. "Can you take me somewhere when we arrive?"

Secretary Ham was genuinely confused, but replied anyway, "Fine."

When they arrived at the city where they lived, as previously requested Lunar was escorted to where they wanted to go. The place is like a simple cafe located in the city center. Secretary Ham didn't come inside because she was told to stay in the car.

However, Secretary Ham could tell from the clear glass who Lunar would meet, a man she had also seen when Arkan and Lunar stopped at a clothing store. He did just monitor from a distance, but understood that the atmosphere at that time was not going well. Now, why did Lunar meet that man again?

Lunar sat reluctantly across from the man calling on a foreign number. She didn't know that would see Nico in the end too. This man must have ulterior motives to make her have to come meet.

"I was just about to call you."

"Tell me what happened to Sora?"

Lunar couldn't contact Sora at all and that worried her. It's just that she hesitates to act because remembers Sora's bad attitude towards her. She had become evil before realizing that what she was doing was not good. Sora is still her sister who has to help if something goes wrong.

"Sora, huh? How about you drink what I ordered for you first? You seem very tired and—"

"I don't want to waste my time being close to you."

Nico let out a long breath. He didn't really want to meet Sora's reasons, but that was the only reason he and Lunar could meet.

"Sora no longer lives with her husband."

"How come?"

"You don't know what Sora has been through all this time."

To Lunar's knowledge, her sister always lived happily. She was very surprised to learn that Sora was no longer living with her husband.

"Sora didn't say anything about that."

"He didn't want to tell you."

Lunar wanted to protest about Sora's attitude that really didn't consider her anymore, whereas until now she had not returned her hurt. She also knew that their relationship was not good and maybe that was the reason why Sora didn't tell her the news.

"My parents know about this?"

"No. After you, Sora doesn't want her parents to hear any more bad news about their children."

Lunar was silent for a moment, not knowing how to react to the problems that kept coming her way. "You know where Sora lives now? I want to see her."

Nico smiled. "I know and will accompany you."

Arkan called out his wife's name repeatedly and what he got was nil, he received no response whatsoever. He had also searched all the rooms, but still couldn't find any, even the lights in the living room were off, unlike usual.

He contacted Lunar, but didn't pick up at all. Where did Lunar actually go? Is she jealous because he came home at night with Raya?

Arkin smiled faintly. "That woman must really love me."

He turned to Secretary Ham. On the other side, there was a noise like water and other sounds that were not recognized. What was his secretary doing at this time of night? It was definitely not the sound of someone taking a shower.

"Wait a minute, Sir! I can't hear it!"

The tone of voice was so loud that Arkan had to hold the phone away from his ear.

He put the phone back together after the noise slowly died down. "What were you doing just now? My ears almost exploded because of you."

"I'm sorry, Sir. I was cleaning the bathroom earlier."

Let's digest the situation earlier that the other noise is probably the sound generated from brushing the floor. What's more, there are things more important than Secretary Ham brushing the floor.

"Did you take Lunar to her parents' house?"

"No, Sir."

Arkan's forehead wrinkled deeply. "In that case, where is Lunar now?"

"Is madam still not home?"

"What do you mean? Lunar isn't in the apartment at all."

"Earlier I was asked to deliver to a cafe, then no longer allowed to follow when the madam was leaving the cafe with a man."

"A man? don't you know Lunar is my wife? Why did you let her go with another man?"

"I-I'm sorry, Sir. I was too focused on brushing the floor and forgot to mention it."

"Tell me clearly who that man is."

"Madam calls the man Nico."

Arkan flinched when he heard the name mentioned to him. He knew who the man who had hurt Lunar was. But why did Lunar meet that man again? Isn't there no relationship between them anymore?

It's too late to stay out as a married woman. Did something happen to Lunar? Then he must go after, but where?

Dispelling all excuses and doubts, he rushed to get the car keys. Anyway, he should go find Lunar. If necessary he will send someone to join the search.

Unfortunately, that intention had to be canceled because he already found the answer. Lunar seemed to get out of the car with the driver being Nico. He could see that Nico was very happy. The two of them must have had a really good time.

He returned to the apartment without waiting to go up together. The thought of Lunar getting out of the car earlier made his heart ache. At first, he was very worried and it turned out that what happened was not as imagined. Lunar is fine, very fine.

On the sofa in the room he lay using another blanket. The room lights were deliberately not turned on so that Lunar would think that he had been resting since earlier. It felt like, he didn't want to talk to Lunar who was having fun while he was worried. Nothing is more annoying than that.

He kept his eyes closed when Lunar entered the room. Lunar seemed to think that he was already asleep because the room light was not turned on.

Likewise, Lunar did her activities slowly as if she didn't want to wake Arkan up.

Knowing that, Arkan no longer closed his eyes. Lunar wouldn't know if he was currently watching a silhouette that was constantly moving. In the specially lit mirror, he saw Lunar washing off her makeup.

Lunar didn't take a shower today and immediately changed her clothes, maybe because it was already night. Arkan kept watching until he had to close his eyes because Lunar soon walked over to him. What he was doing was indeed childish, but he didn't know his own feelings. The image of Lunar smiling at Nico displeased him.
