Doesn't Recognize
They arrived at a restaurant far from the city center. More precisely, this restaurant is on a transit street. They deliberately chose that place to be away from prying eyes that might find out who Lunar was.
"I'm really sorry to you about our marriage."
"Don't bring it up again."
Lunar didn't want to listen to the problems that had brought her life's complications. She currently wanted to overcome her sadness about Arkan, not to add to her sadness with the past.
"I just found out that there is a good restaurant here to rest," said Lunar while looking around in amazement.
"Sometimes I drop in here for a break from a business trip."
Lunar nodded her head with a smile. She had almost forgotten that the man who was going to marry her was also a rich man. However, she had just found out that Nico had no problem being in such a simple environment.
"Would you like to walk around a bit while waiting for the food to be served?"
"Ah, is that okay?"
Nico smiled and nodded his head slowly. It was a restaurant where customers sat on the straw floor. To help Lunar up, he offered a hand.
"We'll be back in time."
Hearing those words full of confidence made Lunar not hesitate to get up. She immediately let go of the grip of hands after managed to stand straight. After all, Nico had hurt her and holding hands didn't feel ethical.
They looked at the calm stretch of the river and breathed in the cool air comfortably. For Lunar to be here, she could let her brain relax for a moment. Get rid of the complications of life, Arkan, or whatever is stuck in her heart. In that place she could forget about him for a while.
"Lunar, I wonder if we would have been happy if we had married first?"
Lunar closed eyes slowly opened and glared at the man standing beside her. "How will there be happiness if you start with an affair?"
Nico chuckled. "I shouldn't laugh in a situation like this. I'm sorry."
"You're laughing after hurting someone." Lunar put both hands on her waist, still glaring sharply. "Really, that hotel employee is prettier than me? Until you seduced her on our wedding day."
"It's just a man's instinct when he sees a woman walking alone."
It felt very annoyed to hear Nico's answer. But Lunar could only ramble in annoyance. "In that case, the safety of a woman walking alone will be threatened because of your instincts!"
Nico couldn't help but amused at the words. He ended up guffawing. "You are very funny!"
Lunar ignored the man who was still laughing, then she walked away from there to her original seat. By this time she was hungry and wanted to eat. The walk had starved her.
They had a good time during that time until on the way home, Lunar fell asleep. Nico who saw could only smile faintly, letting Lunar sleep.
Nico's gaze returned straight ahead. "It turns out that Lunar is very beautiful when she sleeps. I can have her now without having to worry about who Arkan is, but Sora asked me not to do anything bad to Lunar."
He babbled in annoyance, "If only I wasn't so careless back then, we would be married by now. I'm so stupid!" He accidentally hit the steering wheel hard.
Nico turned to Lunar to make sure that his deep sleep was not disturbed. Luckily Lunar was still sleeping soundly. Lunar only moved a little to rub the arm.
Nico pulled over the car so he could give her the jacket he was wearing to prevent Lunar from getting cold. After that, the car drove back along with the shadow of their conversation earlier.
Lunar had never been so pleasant when they were together. The woman is likely to feel uncomfortable going out with him. He thought that Lunar was a home girl who didn't socialize much. He accepted their marriage only because of Lunar's beautiful face. More than that, Lunar wasn't to his taste at all.
In reality, all of that was turned around in the blink of an eye after their meeting today. Lunar really looked a lot different than before and made him think. Maybe... he's already fallen for Lunar?
Too bad, all of that is complicated stuff for him. As a result of his carelessness involving hotel employees, the woman became pregnant and forced them to get married. Not far from threats that make him have to agree. Otherwise, his good name would be in danger of being tarnished.
"Unlucky!" he cursed, unable to contain how annoyed he was right now.

Arkan smiled widely, almost wanting to cry from joy. His relationship with Raya has improved after waiting a long time for Raya's anger to subside. All the burden on the shoulders seemed to disappear at the same time.
When he would turn the car to enter the apartment area, the smile slowly faded. Still driving, he glanced behind him. Until the car was successfully parked, he immediately went down to look again in the same direction. He wasn't hallucinating now that Lunar met Nico, right?
What he saw was something real. Two couples who used to be lovers are going out together. As far as he knew, Lunar hated the man she had an affair with, but what happened now? Why is Lunar with Nico?
This is weird. Very strange.
He felt strange with himself not liking the sight. Naturally, right? Lunar held the status of his wife at the moment. It's only natural that he doesn't like it and wants to be angry.
Not long after, Lunar entered the apartment area with a smile on her face. They both meet at one point. If Lunar was surprised by his presence, it was contrary to Arkan who already knew.
"Arkan... you're back already?"
Lunar looked right and left, feeling awkward at the encounter. The last time she felt sad about the relationship between Arkan and his lover. Now they meet unexpectedly. What expression should she put on? Happy because Arkan is back from dating? Or sad because left alone?
"What a coincidence that we met here." Lunar tried to laugh to overcome the awkwardness. "I went with Nico earlier because I was tired of being in the apartment alone."
She laughed again and this time could not meet Arkan's eyes. "Shall we go inside the apartment and talk? It's very cold outside."
Lunar had taken the first step, but was prevented. Her arm was pulled and she couldn't help but have to look back. Her chin slowly lifted up to look at Arkan. She realized that at this time the expression on the man's face was bad.
"How can you smile when Nico is holding your hand?"
"Wh-what?"
"I'm asking you."
“We… had a nice trip just now. And, and ... it all just happened."
"Nice trip? Are you very happy to go with him who betrayed you?"
"That... I thought everything you said was in the past. I can't possibly keep harboring bad memories forever."
Arkan grinned "So, you plan to give Nico a chance?"
