Shower Outside
As planned by Lunar, they went on a picnic to an area. The picnic area was very high and tiring. Arkan just felt unable to continue their journey.
Lunar turned her head and her smile widened. "Soon we'll be there... Come on, quickly!"
"People will sit on the carpet with food served while enjoying the beauty of nature. But this picnic is much different from what I imagined," said Arkan, still panting from being tired of climbing the mountain.
Lunar let out a short breath, then descended to push Arkan from behind. "Up there will be a place to rest. Come on!"
Even though she was sweating, Lunar was still enthusiastic. This place was the only way they could live together and get away from the hustle and bustle of life in the city. Besides that, in this place they can also get rid of all existing problems so they can focus on their relationship alone.
Tired of climbing with difficulty, they finally reached the top. Up there, there is a temple and an inn. They weren't the only ones climbing during the trip earlier so there were a lot of visitors who were at the top at this time.
"I am very tired...."
Arkan sat languidly on the wooden floor after coming staggered. He wanted to argue with Lunar who had brought him to a far and tiring place, but tiredness was stronger than desire. In the end, he just kept quiet while recovering.
Lunar unzipped her backpack. From inside, he took a bottle of drink and gave it to Arkan in the hope that it would help him recover.
Arkan did not refuse, he immediately received the bottle, then twisted the lid before drinking the water directly from inside the bottle. It feels like half of the soul is gradually recovering.
"You're so lame." Lunar sneered.
"A picnic is completely different from climbing a mountain. You didn't give me a chance to get ready for our trip. This isn't a picnic," complained Arkan, shaking his head.
If he know this at least Arkan can prepare himself. He will exercise to loosen up tight muscles. He will also prepare all their needs from A to Z.
Not like nowadays, where they only carry two normal-sized backpacks with no one knowing what's in them. Lunar did not allow him to peek even a little. Luckily, the bags they carried were not heavy.
"Then you can rest here for a while." Lunar said.
"Where are you going?"
"I'll ask if there's an empty inn for us."
"Didn't you say we were just having a picnic and taking a walk? You've done so much more than that. We just have a picnic and go home. I don't want to waste any more time here."
Lunar put hands on her waist. "Seeing how exhausted you are, I doubt we'll make it before sunset. So, we better spend the night here and come back tomorrow morning."
Arkan was forced to remain silent, no longer arguing. Indeed, by now he was very tired. Maybe, because last night he didn't sleep thinking about Lunar and Nico. After agreeing without a word of approval, he let Lunar walk away.
He downed his nearly finished drink and also endured the drowsiness from exhaustion. Lunar was right that they should rest and come back tomorrow. The situation will also be better if they continue the journey the next day.
From afar he noticed Lunar talking to an old man. Beside Lunar was another man. Perhaps, was also asking something similar to what Lunar asked.
What caught his attention was that one of the men spoke to Lunar after the innkeeper left. The man seemed to smile while looking at Lunar. Not an ordinary smile because what was in his sight right now was a blushing smile.
Arkan rushed up to them and said, "My wife, is everything in order?"
The man looked surprised to hear what Arkan said. The atmosphere became awkward at that moment. The two men exchanged unfriendly glances. While Lunar did not know about this condition.
"They have a room we can use to rest," said Lunar.
"Come on!" Arkan put arm around his wife's shoulder to leave from there.
"Where to?"
"Of course to our room." Arkan glanced sharply as if he was mocking the man who was frozen silent behind them.
Lunar complied with her husband's wish to go to their room. The keys have been given to the owner of the place so they only need to put their luggage and rest.
Their room was at the very end and the atmosphere was getting darker. This made Lunar shudder as she walked down the hall to the front door of the room. She hesitated to open the door because she couldn't imagine how dark it would be in the room.
"Why don't you open the door?" asked Arkan, a little surprised.
"I-I...." Lunar's lips were too heavy to make a sound.
The atmosphere was too tense to make Lunar stand stiff. Especially when remembering the words of the owner of the place to stay that the room they are going to live in has not been used for a long time. People say if a place hasn't been used for a long time there will be other occupants.
She slowly turned the room key until heard an old 'clack' sound. The place is completely unused. The door shifted just a little and heard a creepy creaking sound like a horror movie on television.
Suddenly Arkan pushed open the door until he could see what was inside. Behind that, Lunar was unable to open her eyes. Arkan's figure was no longer beside him because he felt movement from behind her body earlier. Arkan really went into that creepy room!
"Lunar, hurry in and close the door."
Lunar opened her eyes slowly. She changed her facial expression then relaxed. The room wasn't as bad as it seems. Light from outside can freely enter to illuminate, the place is also clean without dust. It looks like the owner of the place cleans the room regularly.
They were given a set of futons complete with blankets and a pillow in the cupboard. In the corner of the room there is a low table that can be used for two people. That's all they could find in the small room.
Arkan was lying on his back on the floor mattress. He was very tired and needed to rest soon. Without paying Lunar any more mind, he closed his eyes.
He closed his eyes for a long time with the sound of Lunar movement which was actually disturbing. It wasn't until he heard the door that opened his eyes. Lunar would go out with a piece of clothing in hand and also a small towel, plus toiletries that he had never known. What are some of the contents of the bag they are carrying?
"Where are you going with all the toiletries?"
"Of course take a shower. Ah, I forgot to tell you. If you want to use the restroom, you can use the bathroom outside."
Arkan immediately wake up from the bed. "Outside? Are you going to shower outside?"
Lunar nodded her head. "Why so? You look really surprised."
"Of course I was surprised. You said you would take a shower outside. What if someone saw you? You're so careless to show your body... to other people."
Lunar quickly cleared up the misunderstanding. "What are you talking about? I didnt show it to them and the bathroom outside had a cover. They won't see me!"
Lunar went out in a state of annoyance. How could Arkan think shallow like she would take a shower in a room without a cover.
Lunar who was still at the door was immediately surprised when Arkan suddenly came out of the room. "Let me check it!"
