HYBRID TIMBER 08
Eva wanted to work up the courage to be mean to Timber. Everything would be different if she hadn't been forced to sign the damn contract. She never imagined that night with him could mean so much.
"It was just sex, okay? It won't happen again, I'm leaving now and we'll never see each other again."
She wanted to scream those words, but she couldn't, couldn't be mean to him. She closed her eyes at the noise that resonated from him, sounding like an anguished snarl hybrid. She hurt him, even with her silence and hesitation.
- What did I do wrong? he insisted, his body shaking with the sob he was trying to hold back.
- Anything. She walked into the living room, feeling all the evidence of having sex with Timber ache in her muscles as she walked, and grabbed her clothes, a second later he was behind her.
“You're scared and sad. Look into my eyes and say so I can read your truth. I hurt you?
She wanted to cry, but she wasn't going to do it in front of him, the emotions were all over her now, wanting to break down. He was perfect and she didn't deserve him. She was regretting at that moment that she had used him as revenge against her fiancé.
Shit, I could totally walk away from here in love with him. Look at those pretty eyes shining with sincerity? I even venture to say that I saw purity. What did I do? What did I do? I played with the one person I shouldn't!
But Eva needed to be strong and go back to her mediocre ways.
— Can you call a taxi for me? — changed the subject.
"No need, I'll take you." He touched her arm gently.
— My mother is anti-hybrid, she will make a fuss if she sees it, but you can drop me off in a nearby street.
- Do you want to talk about it? About your mother? Does it have anything to do with her?
- I don't want. Please. Just take me home. Please. he whispered the last sentence.
Timber swallowed a grunt of frustration, he wanted to know what he had done during that time with her, that had amazed her, but nothing came to his mind, so he would do as she wanted, then he would reflect and go back to looking for her to fix whatever it was. what was wrong. Sometimes human females needed time and were confusing, hard to understand, but he was willing for Eva. She was special and made him feel different.
She was afraid of something.
Timber wasn't giving up on her.
“I'll drop you off wherever you want. - he said.
A minute later he was already dressed, Eva got up from the sofa where she was sitting, feeling the middle of her legs completely sensitive and sore, if it was like that at the same moment she did it, she didn't want to imagine how she would be feeling the next day.
He raised his hand to hers and she took his, leaving the apartment together. In the elevator Eva tried to keep her distance, she couldn't look him in the eyes again, hugged her own body and knew that Timber would be forever marked in her mind, even though their moments together were few, it meant too much.
Hugging her own body, she wanted to cry, knowing that there was someone who called her beautiful, thought her body was beautiful and wanted her even though she was overweight, Timber saw her stretch marks, her breasts that weren't perky and looked at her with so much hunger and sincere desire but now she would go back to marry soon with a person who wanted to transform her into the perfect bride, highlighting all her flaws whenever possible.
Timber left through the quieter gate of the domain, and stopped at the beginning of a street she said she lived in, that was a few meters away.
He wanted to kiss her before she went downstairs, but he refrained. She had made a choice and he had to respect that, if he kissed her he would want to take her back to his home and never let her go, doing that however could ruin every chance he might have with her.
"I'll open the door for you." He moved quickly to get out of the car, but she stopped him.
- It is not necessary. She moved to open it.
"Don't you want me to bring you closer?" Isn't it dangerous to walk alone at this hour?
- Everything is fine. It's a quiet neighborhood. “Eva didn't mean to say she had to walk a few more minutes to get home.
Then she got down and, taking a few steps, turned to look at him.
“Thanks for today, Timber. He opened a smile he didn't feel.
Timber just shook his head, feeling his legs wobble, fighting the urge to run to her, grab her and hold her. He wanted to roar when he lost sight of her. Rejection was starting to hurt now that she wasn't with him anymore.
Anger and pain burned through his chest. He was crazy to have a mate, for human females he didn't consider that when he felt special about one, he risked heartbreak.
She didn't even want him beyond their time together, she just wanted to share sex. But she was a virgin. Then the idea came that she might not have liked his body as much as she liked hers, which made him feel even worse.
He was sure he had been very hard at some point and hurt her even though she said it didn't.
??
When Eva entered her street, she could see Bruce sitting on the stairs at the entrance of his house, when he saw her too, he got up and hurriedly walked towards her, with a furious expression on his face, Eva became enraged, indignant that he was in the right to be upset in any way.
- You took so long! Where were you? He took her by the arms.
- What are you doing here? she questioned.
- Waiting for you. It wasn't that far!
"But I wouldn't come walking!" You know my fears and you left me alone there, I needed to find a way to go back and it wasn't easy.
He tightened his fingers on her arms, hurting her.
"Who brought her?" the boy questioned.
— Are you sick? Why do you want to know? Isn't it enough to have left me at the mercy of any danger? What if something bad had happened to me? You are a big dumb bastard, I hate you with all my soul. - spat.
"How dare you talk to me like that?" - Eva flinched when she felt Bruce's heavy hand against her face, then he held her and shook her body by the shoulders - What got into you? You should be submissive! You signed a damn contract and I'm going to make your life the worst possible hell if you continue this behavior.
Eva swallowed the anger that filled her veins and held on tight so as not to cry in front of him, took a deep breath and lifted her head.
"Do you want to say anything else?" I need to go inside because I have to work tomorrow. He tried to sound cool.
“Tomorrow we have an engagement photo shoot at nine in the morning and dinner with some of my dad's associates at eight thirty.
She didn't say anything, she just entered the house, locked the door and ran to her room, ripped off her clothes with the smell of Timber clinging to them and got under the shower, at that moment she closed her eyes and collapsed, crying so hard, until she sobbed. echo through the room and your head hurts.
