Chapter 795
On top of Lingshan Mountain.
Three rounds of Buddha light hang high above the mountain, illuminating the earth. They are Sakyamuni Tathagata, Mahavairocana Tathagata, and Immovable Tathagata.
Eight Bodhisattvas, including Guanyin, Manjusri, Samantabhadra, Xukongzang, Mahasthamaprapta, Wei Tuo, Lingji, and Pili, are below.
After that, there are hundreds of powerful Arhat lords, such as Jianglong, Fuhu, Tota, Budai, and Changmei, and even many of them are Jidao lords, Vajra Arhats.
Although the entire Leiyin Temple Hall is only a few hundred kilometers in radius, under the seats of these Bodhisattvas and Arhats, one small world after another is looming, and there are countless Buddhist soldiers in them, ready to go.
The ancient Buddha clan has always pursued a policy of elite soldiers. Only those who are either peerless geniuses or strong people representing one side, such as Sun Wukong, Jiang Chen, and Longnv, will be specially absorbed. Even Guanyin and Samantabhadra, the top Bodhisattvas who have contributed their lives to the Posuo Buddha Realm, rarely receive merit infusion.
Therefore, there are only a dozen “Buddhas” in the Possa Buddha Realm. The fact that three of them appeared at once shows how much they value Jiang Chen.
Of course, every Buddha has boundless power. Under the same rank, their power is even greater than that of the twelve-winged angels.
“Jiang Chen and the Dragon Girl have entered the Tongtian River and are about to arrive at Lingshan. Please do your job and do not damage the dignity of our Buddha.”
Bodhisattva Guanyin spoke on behalf of Sakyamuni.
Hundreds of Bodhisattvas and Arhats below made a loud voice at the same time.
“Yes!”
A male Bodhisattva with a dignified face and holding a vajra whispered:
“May I ask Bodhisattva Guanyin, Jiang Chen spent 12 years to complete the journey to obtain the scriptures, which is even better than the original Fighting Buddha. I wonder if he has subdued his heart and converted to our Buddha at this moment?”
Bodhisattva Weituo, as the head of the Lingshan Security Department, is only at the level of department manager. Compared with Guanyin, the general assistant, his status is still very different, so his attitude is very respectful.
Lingshan has its own duties. Bodhisattva Weituo did not participate in the Journey to the West plan, so he asked this question because he had to be fully prepared.
Hearing Wei Tuo’s question, many Arhats also listened attentively.
Although the Journey to the West plan is related to the addition of two more Buddhas to Lingshan, it is a secret, but it is about to be completed at this moment, so Guanyin Bodhisattva did not hide it anymore.
“Jiang Chen, the Lord of the Divine Realm, should now be called Wu Shi. Although Wu Shi is stubborn, he finally had an epiphany after the trouble in the Kingdom of Women. Now he recites scriptures and worships Buddha every day. Not only does he have a deep understanding of Buddhist classics such as the Heart Sutra of Prajnaparamita, the Mahavairocana Sutra, the Avatamsaka Sutra, and the Diamond Sutra, he has become a true believer of Sakyamuni Tathagata, Mahavairocana Tathagata, and Immovable Tathagata. Especially his belief in our Buddha Sakyamuni is about to break through the fanaticism.”
Speaking of this, Guanyin Bodhisattva looked at Manjusri Bodhisattva, Venerable Jinshou and others:
“Wu Shi has many trump cards, and is even more stubborn and difficult to tame than the original Fighting Buddha. You all have contributed to his subjugation.”
Manjusri Bodhisattva and others returned the favor and complimented: “It’s all thanks to the great master for coordinating the overall situation.”
“Good, good!”
The head of the Three Holy Ones of Huayan, Vairocana Tathagata, suddenly spoke:
“Matter determines consciousness! After Jiang Chen receives the infusion of merit, he will be affected by the energy of Buddhism and will immediately become a fanatic believer of the Lord of the Sakya Domain. If he takes this opportunity to complete the transformation of the clan, my Posha Buddha Domain will immediately add another powerful guardian Buddha, which is really gratifying.”
Lingshan, as the ancestor of playing with the power of faith, has brought the “believer reuse technology” to the extreme. Many mortal temples enshrine multiple ancient Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats.
It is normal for an ordinary ancient Buddha clan lord to believe in hundreds of Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Arhats at the same time. It is even common for some Arhats to be true believers of each other.
And the monks recite scriptures every day, reading the biographies of gods.
The Avatamsaka Sutra, also known as the Mahavairocana Sutra, is the biography of Mahavairocana. Even as one of the big men in Lingshan, Mahavairocana cannot ignore a true believer like Jiang Chen.
After all, the power of the divine domain cannot be underestimated.
When Sakyamuni saw Mahavairocana speak, he could not pretend to be deaf and dumb:
“Congratulations, Tianyin disciples are born with the true fire of the sun, which can be a great help to Mahavairocana.”
This is also one of the reasons why Mahavairocana is so concerned about this matter.
As a three-legged golden crow who has become a Buddha, if he can obtain the powerful army of Tianyin Saint who is born with the true fire of the sun, both his power and his personal strength will show explosive growth.
Immovable Tathagata, who was in charge of the security of Lingshan Mountain and was Wei Tuo’s immediate superior, suddenly said, “The goddess warriors can protect Lingshan Mountain!”
Manjusri Bodhisattva hurriedly said, “The Bodhi tree in my territory is already mature. If it is grafted with the Enlightenment Tea Tree and provided with nutrients from the Enlightenment Tea Tree, it will surely be able to cultivate more powerful Bodhi seeds. I hope that the Buddha will help me.”
Before Jiang Chen appeared, several Tathagatas and Bodhisattvas could not wait to divide the spoils.Seeing Jiang Chen and even the resources of the Divine Realm as their own.
Soon, a stream of light appeared in the sky, and in the blink of an eye it reached the foot of Lingshan Mountain.
Seeing that the Sky City showed no sign of stopping, but instead headed straight for the Great Leiyin Temple on the top of the mountain, Guanyin Bodhisattva frowned slightly and shouted loudly: “Dragon Girl, Wushi, you can’t be rude in front of the Buddha! Why don’t you get off the boat immediately, bow three times and kowtow nine times, and walk up the mountain?”
“The Bodhisattva is wrong!” Jiang Chen’s voice came: “Worshiping Buddha is in the heart, not in action. As long as there is Buddha in your heart, why should you just go through the motions? Besides, the great cause of obtaining the scriptures has not yet been accomplished. A journey of a hundred miles begins with a single step. My master and I dare not slack off at all.”
Jiang Chen naturally could not leave the Sky City, the last barrier.
“No problem!” Before Guanyin could say anything else, the grand voice of Sakyamuni Tathagata came, resounding throughout the Lingshan Mountain, “Let him come up.”
“This reverberation effect is really great.”
Jiang Chen complained in his heart, as a way to relieve his stress. The Sky City also accelerated again. In less than a minute, it reached the top of the mountain and hovered in the center of the vast hall of the Great Leiyin Temple.
“Wu Shi pays homage to the Buddha.”
Jiang Chen’s clone, wearing a tight headband, appeared on the deck of the Sky City, stood side by side with the Dragon Girl, and bowed respectfully to Sakyamuni:
“Wu Shi has fulfilled his mission, slaying demons and spreading Buddhism along the way. He has now escorted Master Dragon Girl to Lingshan. I hope the Buddha will give me the Dharma.”
“Good!”
Sakyamuni spoke again, and it was a rare long speech.
“True strength does not lie in attributes, but in the tranquility of the mind.”
“The Dragon Girl comprehended the essence of the Lotus Sutra at the age of eight, with sharp wisdom and a heart of Bodhi. This time, she has experienced eighty-one difficulties and completed her practice, and can obtain the true scriptures.”
“Wu Shi has slayed demons and monsters all the way, and his merits are immeasurable. From the brilliance of the Lord of the Divine Realm to the great enlightenment now; from being unruly to being calm now, he can obtain the true scriptures.”
What surprised Jiang Chen was that Sakyamuni did not drag his feet at all.
After a simple commendation, dozens of golden scriptures were directly bestowed and fell steadily into the hands of the Dragon Girl.
At the same time, the Heavenly Dao prompt sounded.
[Prompt: You have completed the Journey to the West mission. ]
[Contribution accounting, you have obtained a total of 23.13 million merits. ]

The earth and the sky trembled, and the sky within a radius of tens of thousands of miles was instantly dyed golden, and the power of merit was as deep as the sea.
