Epilogue (part 1

AIUS FROSCO POV.

It's been three days since my baby, Sariel flew to States and I miss him so much. Every passing seconds without her here with me is a torture.

I'm also worried about her health. I know, she'll get tired again and again.

I sighed, I wanted so bad to be with her in this challenge in her life, but I can't. I have a company to handle. All I can do is to always check her through phone. I also got her mother's number, with the help of Alexander.

Alexander and I are in good terms now. We apologize for our mistakes. He's always the best friend that I got.

Days and week pass by, and it's a pure torture. For me, I miss my girlfriend so much. I want to hug her. I miss her kiss, her cuddles and her smell, and most of all her presence. I miss everything about her.

I'll surely ask for her hands, when she comes home again. I can't wait to hold her im my arms, and claim her as mine completely, and I know at that time, her father is in good condition, maybe.

Another week had passed, were still in good terms, we were not wasting time not to greet each other. But lately I’ve been a bit busy, the amount of paperworks Dad left behind.

Tss..I just sighed. I'm too tired and I need my girlfriend beside me. She's my rest.

I stretched my arms and rest my neck on the headrest of my swivel chair. I closed my eyes for a moment to sleep, when the door of my office opened.

I opened my eyes and my secretary greeted me. "Yes?" i asked with my creased forehead.

"Someone is in the phone, sir. She's asking for you." my secretary politely told me. That made my forehead creased even more.

"Who is it?"

"Allen daw po, she told me that she's uhm, someone from your uhm past po." with just hearing my ex 'name I clenched my fist, nakakainit ng ulo. I'm already tired and then he adds.

"Give me the phone." I ordered, I had the phone in less than a few minutes.

"What do you need this time, Allen? I thought I made it clear to you that we're done long time ago-" I got cut off by her words, I stiffened.

"Ever heard about Sariel's father heart transplant?" when Allen said those words it was as if I was drenched in cold water, I am fully aware of Sariel's father condition, I am also aware that they are having a hard time finding a heart donor that's suitable for her father. I'm helping them out to find one, but I can't find too. But I'm trying.

I'm doing my best that I can, to help them save Mr. Arguaza. Because I know how much Sariel loves her father. And it will surely break her if ever her father didn't survive.

"What do you want to say, then?" even though I was nervous about what he was going to say, I still didn't show it.

"I can be her father's heart donor. My heart is suitable for her father." Allen told me with finality in her voice.

But I doubt it. "No, I know your planning something. You have hidden agenda, I know you too damn well, Allen. Stop pulling a trick on me, that won't work." I said in greeted teeth.

"What? You're so judgmental, come on, Aius. I'm serious and I want to make it up to you, I want to help you even for the woman you still love. Even though, even though I'm hurting too. This is the only way I can think of to get back at you. To get rid of your anger towards me and I can pay for the sins I have committed. " Allen answered me with his sobbing voice. For some reason, she convinced me a bit, but I still won't believe her.

She's healthy and no financial problem, so why would she donate her heart?

"I just wanted to leave, Aius. I'm tired of living every damn day without you in my arms, you're my life. But you're not mine anymore, and that's the reason why I just want to end this life "I'm tired of living but still lifeless." she said. Crying so hard.

But I won't ever believe in her. "No, Allen. We'll just look for another donor, I know we'll be able to get one."

"Yeah, right. You don't really trust me anymore, huh. You hate me that much to the point that you think I have hidden agenda and that I am planning something, right? How cruel. Alright, then if you don ' t believe then so be it. It's up to you. Just remember that if ever you've change your mind my offer is still available, I am stilk willing to be you girlfriend's father heart donor. She's so lucky, she have you. " Allen, told me. Pain is very visible in her voice.

I ended the call right after she said that. I'm still in doubt with her offer. Tss, I was shaken that I just arranged my things and then I decided to go home.

It almost seven in the evening, and I am now preparing myself a dinner when I heard my phone rang for a call, I picked it up and my lips automatically formed into a wide smile when I saw my girlfriend's name on my screen.

"Hey, I miss you." opening I said.

But what shock me is her sobs. Worries enveloped me. "Baby, what's wrong?"

"Papa is weak, love. He's giving up, the doctor said papa needs to be able to transplant a new heart. Because papa and life supports can't afford it for a long time. Love, I'm scared, We haven't found a donor yet. I don't want to lose papa, love. I can't. " Sariel is crying and sobbing so hard as she said that to me. I can feel her pain, she's hurting so bad and I am hurting as well.

I don't know what to do, I'm not on her side to comfort her and hug her, I can't wipe her tears out of her face because I'm too, far away from her.

But then, just like a light bulb pop in my head, without even thinking and consulting Sariel about my decision I immediately call the person who I rejected earlier.

"Hello?" Allen in her sleepy voice from the other line.

"I'm accepting your offer." I said using my cold voice. I don't want her to hint any emotions from me.

"Why sudden change of mind? Did you realize that?" Allen said using her sarcastic voice. She's tryin 'to annoy me and alright she won, but I won't let her notice that she did annoyed me.

"Enough with your words, I don't need it. I just call to tell you that I'm accepting your offer. Name your price." Coldly, I said.

"Oh, baby you don't have to pay with money." she said mockingly.

"I don't believe you."

"But of course you have to pay me. Spend one with with me, then my heart is all yours. You can have my heart."

"What?" Can't believe I said that.

"What? Don't you want to? It's just simple Aius. You'll just spend a month with me then you can save your lover's father. If you don't want to spend a month with me, then a week or two."
