I stared at him, "So, you actually almost slept with her...when you were drunk?"
Hades nodded, "Luckily, Jackson wasn't drunk and dragged me away from her. Jade is...dangerous, put it that way."
"I'm better than her." I stated.
Hades raised an eyebrow, he laughed before grabbing me and pulling me down onto the couch. He kissed my cheek, then my lips and we made out for a few seconds. When we parted I rested my head on his chest, I let out a sigh of relief. He wrapped his arms around me and continued to kiss me, pulling me closer each kiss. Eventually, I was against his chest, but I didn't care.
"What are you going to do with her?" I whispered.
He sighed, resting his chin on my head. "I don't know, either kill her or let her rot in the dungeon."
"I say let her rot..."
"Why? Because she'll suffer?" he chuckled.
"Maybe." I smirked, sitting up.
I turned and stared at him, immediately getting lost in his eyes. A knock on the door had us wide-eyed and searching for our clothes. I quickly threw my clothes on and so did Hades before allowing whoever it was in. I quietly sat on the couch, knowing my hair was a mess.
I frowned as a beautiful and tall girl walked in, she had caramel brown hair, and bright blue eyes. Her skin was a mocha color and she had the longest lashes I've seen. She closed the door and took a seat in one of the chairs.
"Hello, Rain." Hades greeted, sitting down in his chair.
The girl smiled softly, "Hello, Alpha, um...I just met my mate and I was wondering if she could join the pack?"
I relaxed as she said "mate" and...she? I stared at her, but then shrugged. Guess you can't judge a book by their cover. Hades nodded before glancing at me, he smiled and motioned for me to come over. I walked over and sat on his lap, he instantly pulled me close to him. The girl grinned even wider before grabbing my hand and shaking it.
"Nice to meet you, Luna!" she beamed.
I blinked, "It's nice to meet you too, Rain."
She grinned, "So, I see you two mated already." she chirped.
I blushed and hid my face in Hades' neck, this girl is very different. Hades laughed, "Now, your mate, who is she?"
"Oh! Her name is Payton, she's from the Red Dawn pack in California. She won't be here until Sunday."
"Alright, well, she'll have to make it through the trials." Hades warned.
Rain nodded, "She'll do fine."
She said goodbye before walking out and closing the door. Hades grabbed his pen and started doing paperwork as I just laid against him. He started to comb his fingers through my hair, both of us in a peaceful silence.
"Want some dinner?" he asked after an hour or so.
I yawned, "Sounds good, wait, we've been in here that long?"
"Well, you did fall asleep for three hours." he chuckled.
I furrowed my eyebrows before glancing at the clock, damn. I hopped off of him and walked with him out of the office. We held hands as we walked down the hall; I gave a few she-wolves a glare as they eye-raped Hades. Their eyes would widen and they would quickly look away, embarrassed that their Luna caught them.
I plopped down in a chair and watched as Hades started making pounded chicken. I eventually got bored and decided to help, which ended with him throwing flour at me. I narrowed my eyes before throwing breadcrumbs at him. He raised an eyebrow and tackled me with raw egg.
"Man, my hair is going to smell like egg now!" I whined.
He smirked, "Shouldn't have thrown breadcrumbs at me."
I smirked and grabbed a piece of raw chicken, "And you shouldn't ruin my hair."
He frowned and turned to look at me when I bitch-slapped him across the face...with raw chicken. He stared at me, wide eyed.
"Did...you just slap me...with raw chicken?" he asked, stunned.
"Correction, bitch-slapped you and yes, yes I did." I replied, placing the chicken down.
I looked at him and we burst out laughing before finishing dinner.
I walked with Hades down the dark hall of the dungeon, trying not to gag. It still smelled the same and boy, was it gross. Hades wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me close to his side. I glanced at him, but didn't ask any questions.
When we finally reached her cell I could smell her scent. It was a mix of strawberry and watermelon, that's new. Hades swung the cell door open and instantly narrowed his eyes.
Jade snapped her head up and smirked. "Came back for me, Alpha?" She cooed.
Hades rolled his eyes, "Yes, only to figure out what to do with you. I found out who your mother is."
I furrowed my eyebrows, what does her mother have to do with this?
Hades leaned against the wall, "So, tell me, what is Elvira up to?"
Jade's eyes widened and her face lost its color. She swallowed, "N-nothing."
"Nothing." Hades scoffed. "I damn well know she's up to something. Either you tell me or she'll receive your dead body as a gift."
Jade shivered, "Don't kill me!" She pleaded.
"Then tell us why she sent you." I growled.
She glanced at me, "Sh-she wanted me to break you two up. Clearly, that plan failed."
Hades burst out laughing, "She thought having me cheat would be that easy!? She's more foolish than I thought!"
Jade folded her arms across her chest and rolled her eyes. "Well, you did reject Celina then screwed some other chick. So, why wouldn't you?"
I clenched my jaw, remembering that hard time. I looked away from them and studied the walls.
"Tell me, Luna, do you love him?"
I looked back at Jade, "Yes, why?"
"And Hades, do you love her?"
"Yeah, why? Are we getting married now or something?" He asked, confused.
"No, I can tell you two love each other. I...I was stupid for thinking this would work. You were the guy who could never hold a stable relationship. You would always end up cheating, I guess I'm the real fool if I thought you haven't changed. But you did." She whispered. "Because of her."
Hades frowned, "You know, I still need to send Elvira a warning message."
Jade looked at him, "Please, don't kill me! I haven't met my mate yet!"
I glanced at Hades and I knew he didn't care. I rested my hand on his shoulder before looking at Jade.
"We won't kill you." I stated.
She looked between us, "Then what are you going to do?"
I sighed and sat down, "You think Elvira will understand our warning?" I asked.
Hades shook his head, "She lusts for revenge too much. Causes her to make idiotic plans."
I nodded, my thoughts drifted towards my father. I wonder if he's up. I shook my head, I wouldn't care either way. It will take a lot for me to forgive him. I don't even fully forgive my sister yet.
I groaned as the phone started ringing, the sound slicing through the air.
Hades snatched the phone and started speaking. After a minute he looked at me and handed me the phone.
"It's for you." He whispered.
I grabbed the phone, "Hello?"
"Celina?" My mother's voice sounded.
"Yeah?"
"Your father is awake, he wants to see you."
I felt my heart tightened, "I don't want to see him." I stated.
I hung up before she could respond. I let out a breath, ignoring the guilt in my chest.
"Are you okay?" Hades asked.
I shook my head, "How am I supposed to forgive all of them?" I murmured.
"They have to prove they're sorry first." He replied, kissing me.
I nodded, "I know."
