I gasped at the beautiful sight before me. Hades guided me along the path towards the stunning cabin. It was decorated in beautiful white lights that lead down to the lake.
He guided me inside before taking off my jacket and hanging it up. He then showed me to the kitchen where a chef was already placing the food on the table.
Hades pulled out my chair before pushing it back in and then taking a seat.
I could feel my cheeks burning, this already amazing.
"So, do you like it so far?" He asked.
I nodded, "It's wonderful...is this place your's?"
"It's actually my parents' vacation home. They loved cabins and hiking. We would stay here for a day before hiking up he mountain and camping there for a few days. It was always fun." He explained.
I frowned, "Oh..."
"It feels good to be in here again though." He sighed, looking around.
His eyes were filled with happiness as he flew through his memories. He then turned back to me and a smile lit up his face.
"So, you like it?"
I chuckled, "Yes, it's amazing. So, you like hiking?"
He nodded before taking a sip of his water. "Haven't gone in a really long time."
"Well, we should go one day! When the baby is born of course." I murmured, looking at my rather large belly.
It was starting to become harder to walk, I would get morning sickness quite a few times, and I knew my mood swings were starting to come.
Dinner went by nicely, we ended up having a special dish that Hades' mother used to cook. I figured out he actually cooked it himself, the chef was here to just cook the desert.
The desert was delicious as well. I couldn't help but savor the taste. Once we were done we danced for a bit then had a mini bonfire.
I laughed as Hades' marshmallow caught on fire. He yelped and ended up throwing it into the lake.
I laughed even more, "Really?" I chuckled.
He scowled at me, "Hey, you caught two on fire including the stick."
I pursed my lips, "But...I didn't chuck them into the lake."
He raised a brow before smiling. His eyes were sparkling with amusement as he shook his head and laughed.
After we were done we cleaned everything up and just sat beside each other. Hades suddenly stood up and brought me to my feet.
"Want to go for a walk?" He asked nervously.
I smiled and nodded, "Of course."
As we walked he shoved his hands in his pockets. He seemed nervous all of a sudden and it had me a little curious. What was he so worked up about?
We stopped as we came to a beautiful clearing. The silver light of the moon washed the clearing in its beautiful glow. The frost on the ground and trees sparkles like diamonds.
I was in awe of the scene, it was breath taking.
I turned around to ask Hades what this place was when I gasped.
I covered my mouth with my hands as I stared down at the beautiful ring. Here he was on one knee, looking at me with so much hope.
"Celina, I know it has only been a month, but I love you. I love you more than anyone else and would sacrifice my life for you. You're the light in the dark for me, the one thing that keeps me tied down to this world.
I know I was a terrible mate to begin with. I don't even think I deserve the title mate. I caused you so much pain, but in return you helped me. I want to spend the rest of my life making it up to you. To make are you're always happy and loved. I want to make sure you never have a painful day like those few days again.
Celina Blood, will you marry me?"
My heart was fluttering and so were the butterflies in my stomach. Adrenaline pumped through me as tears pooled into my eyes.
I nodded, "Yes."
He let out a sigh of relief and smiled. His eyes shined with love as he slipped the ring onto my finger. He then stood up and kissed me.
Our lips danced together as passion and love swirled around us. Once we parted we touched our foreheads together and smiled at each other.
"I love you, Hades." I whispered.
He smiled softly, "I love you too, my Luna."
For the rest of the night we cuddled against each other on the couch. Hades kept kissing me every now and then before tickling me. I would laugh and playfully slap him then focus on the movie.
Once the movie ended we just laid there, enjoying each other's presence.
"Hey, Hun?" Hades whispered.
"Yeah?" I yawned.
"Is your belly supposed to be that large already? It has only been a few weeks. Aren't you usually pregnant for nine months?"
I furrowed my eyebrows before slowly sitting up.
"Yeah...maybe because we're both Alphas?"
"I don't know, I know both my parents were Alphas and it still took me nine months to be born."
I frowned, gently rubbing my belly. Thoughts of everything going wrong swirled in my mind. What if I lose this baby? I know I was nervous about becoming a mother before, but now that I'm already pregnant I don't want to lose the baby.
"Hey, relax, we'll speak with the doctor tomorrow." Hades assured me, gently wrapping his arms around me.
I smiled, "Okay."
When the next morning came around I was quick to eat breakfast. Hades chuckled when I managed to accidentally break the syrup bottle. Which resulted in me splashing syrup on him.
When we were cleaned up and ready we made our way back to the pack house.
"Okay, I'll call the doctor." Hades chirped.
I smiled softly, "I'm going to take a shower, my hair is now sticky with damn syrup."
He smirked, "You asked for it."
"Shut up." I grumbled.
He chuckled as he walked out to grab the doctor. I grabbed a towel and walked into the bathroom. During my shower I tried reasoning on why the baby was growing so fast. I couldn't come up with an explanation and I don't want to ask my mom.
I know my father is out of his coma and the minute I call my mom she'll put me on the phone with him.
She already tried explaining to me that his wolf was in control, but for ten years? Ten years my father didn't even bother to try and regain control so he wouldn't hurt me anymore. As I dwelled on the abuse I started to gain more anger.
My sister is to blame for her actions as well. Sure she grew up watching my father hit me, but that doesn't mean she does it too.
I sighed, but she did try to defend me a few times. However, my father threatened to give her the same fate and so she stopped. She was thirteen at the time, a teenager. She was mature enough to know she or our pack should abuse me.
Yet, she didn't stand up for herself or for me. Instead, she joined in and laughed whenever her mate beat me.
Then you have my mother who abandoned us. I was so conflicted with either being mad at her or being...civil. I missed her and allowed myself to become overwhelmed with emotion. I blinded myself to the fact she abandoned me, my father, my sister, and the pack. What kind of Luna does that? And what did my father do to make her leave? I know he killed someone, but who?
"Celina? Are you okay?" Hades' voice sounded.
I shut off the water and climbed out before wrapping the towel around me.
"Yeah, was just thinking." I replied.
I hurried and threw on my clothes before opening the door. He smiled and lead me down to the infirmary.
Once we reached the place the doctor quickly guided me to the ultrasound room.
She carefully laid me down and explained what she was going to do.
I sighed, hoping nothing serious is going on.
