Santiago's PoV
Since today is the meeting with the other mafia, I'm sitting in this restaurant with my little sister, younger brother and my parents. I have no idea what kind of mafia we want to join forces with, but I hope one that actually brings us something. For this "important occasion" as my father calls it, I'm wearing a black suit, black shirt and black sneakers. There is silence at the table right now because we still have to wait for the others. When suddenly a voice sounds from outside, I guess the entrance area. "I still won't give them my bag," said the voice, which sounds somehow familiar to me but I don't know where from. She sounds bitchy and annoyed, apparently she doesn't want forbidden things to be found in her bag, kindergarten . Then someone else speaks, but you can't understand them. Suddenly the voice sounds again, which sounds so familiar to me but I don't know where from. "What I've never seen a girl with weapons before and I swear to them, I'll get mine If I don't return the weapons intact later, I'll kill them," she said again, bitchy and annoyed. Suddenly my father started to smile and said, "The little one has a temper, suits you Santiago." I looked at him in shock, was he really serious? "Absolutely not, but her voice sounds familiar to me, I I just don't know where from," I said again. "Maybe one of your bedtime stories," my little brother Acaimo said. "Cállate Acaimo," I said to him, to which he shut up. He has too much respect for me to contradict me. I'm the scariest and oldest of the three of us, which is why I'll take over the mafia later.
When a family of five enters shortly afterwards, my eyes widen. No this can not be. She can't belong to a big mafia, but what's the use of an alliance with a small mafia for my father. Questions upon questions that I don't have an answer to, but one thing I do know is that she looks really hot in her black dress. Something is almost starting to leak in my pants, but luckily I can still control it, otherwise it would have been really embarrassing.
My thoughts are interrupted when the man starts talking. "Hola Alberto Sánchez and Florentina Sánchez, it's been a while since we last met. Neither of us had any children at the time. They know that I don't really like them, but since we have a big common enemy, we just have to work together." Okay, now at least I know that they know who we are, but I don't think Cecilia knew who we were back then She looked so shocked. She was still staring at me and Liliana in shock. I'm interrupted again in my thoughts by my father starting to speak. "Hola Fernando López and Catalina López, it's nice to see them again too. I see "It's just as important that we have to work together against our enemy. But it would still be good if we made peace, in my opinion and theirs. And we finally get this misunderstanding out of the way." Mierda, she belongs to the López Mafia, she is even their daughter. We and the López Mafia are the strongest mafias in all of Spain. As far as I know, we've always been enemies. But apparently that wasn't the case. My father talks about a misunderstanding, but I don't know what kind of misunderstanding it is. "What a misunderstanding, I know exactly the reason for our enmity. But we don't have to clarify this in front of the children," said Fernando again. Apparently Lucia, Federico and Emilio know just as little about the enmity as Liliana and I.
They sat down at the table. To which me and my family look at Cecilia in shock. Since she sits in the right hand seat of the next leader. Since there is also Emilio, who is a boy, it is quite rare for a woman to take on such an important position. For me it will be Acaimo, because Liliana is not cut out for the real mafia life, she doesn't have enough guts for really big tasks. But nobody has a problem with that, since she would have the position she has now either way. “Fernando, why does your daughter have a higher position than your son? Her son looks older than her." my father Fernando asked. Which I asked myself too. "That's because Emilio doesn't want to have too much to do with the mafia and Cecilia is simply one of the best, just because "If she's not a woman, she's not allowed to take over the mafia because the men wouldn't accept it. Otherwise she would definitely be the next leader because she's the coldest of the three." Fernando said proudly to my father again. Apparently he's proud of the fact that she seems to have a pretty cold side to her. Even if Emilio doesn't want such a high position in the mafia, I would never give my daughter, a woman, that position. Because I would be too afraid for her. Not because they are weaker, just because unfortunately most people portray them as weak and one doesn't expect such strength from such a young woman. "Hola, I'm Cecilia," came her gentle voice, which sounds like that of an angel. It's hard to imagine that she can also be cold, even if I believe in it. Afterwards, the others from the López family and my family also introduced themselves .
Afterwards we also talk about the boarding school and our achievements there. I thought that Cecilia would be so good there because I won her at paintball games, even if I could hit her. But at that moment I just didn't want to. I'm not surprised about Federico and Emilio, since they're at my level and I see what they're like in class.
My father's next sentence would make me prick up my ears again. "If Cecilia is that good, she can compete against Santiago." "I can do that, but what should I do?" she asked my father, which I didn't know either. “You can see that, the surveillance effect is there. That's not a problem for Cecilia, is it?" he said to Fernando again, grinning, as he always does when he has plans to do something or thinks I'll win easily. "No, it's not a problem for her, but without rules," Fernando said yes my father. Do they seriously want to go without rules, but rules don't help much anyway. Since we don't have any weapons with us. The man who is from the López family searched us thoroughly so that you could think he was gay. I think, or rather assume, that our husband did the same thing. "Of course without rules," my father said, as I already thought.
Cecilia and I stood up and stood. Since I actually expect to win, I don't really prepare for it. I rather let it come to me. I couldn't think about it for long anyway, because suddenly the door to the kitchen opened and one of our men came in. He has a silver tray in his hand with a weapon on it. At the same moment as our employee comes in, my father says, "Whoever has the gun first wins." That's child's play. I was about to run towards the gun when she pulled out a gun from her leg. She points it quickly put the gun on the tray and pull the trigger. The bullet lands right on the tray. The tray flies in my direction, where it turned around and hit the gun that was flying in her direction. Cecilia caught it.
"Won, it's not the first time," she says with a dry grin, whereupon my family looked at her in shock and her family started laughing. But I've already checked that the last part of the sentence is a reference to the paintball game was. Where I could win, but I let her win. But I have to admit one thing, she was good in both games. Even if she cheated a little in both games, which I'm telling her now. "You didn't fair play" "It said no rules" she replied, which she was right about, but who would have expected that she still had a weapon with her. I thought our employee searched her thoroughly, but apparently not. She grabbed it Weapon again and ran towards her family again, which I did the same and went to mine.
My father asked me quietly, "What did she mean by it wasn't the first time?" "We played paintball at boarding school once, where she won because I let her win because she met really good people and Mal helped me by meeting her brother," I said to him, to which he nodded in understanding.
"Where did you even get a weapon from? One of my men took it from me earlier?" my father asked her, which is what I was wondering too. "It's not my fault if your people are too bad to check "You have more weapons than you have in your pocket," she said dryly again. Whereupon I looked at my father in shock, who understood my look. He's actually one of our best men. Apparently he was either blinded by her beauty or she intimidated him too much with her screaming. Which I believed in rather less. I think it was because of her beauty, or he just didn't expect a girl to carry more weapons than what was in her pocket.
Afterwards we talked about business and ate. We made further appointments and were told that we should continue to behave normally at the boarding school. Which becomes really difficult when you know she's a López.
Since we're done for today, we all go out again and get our weapons out of the basket. I only had one weapon with me. Cecilia, on the other hand, had Baer with her more than anyone else; with the one she took in, she had two weapons and two throwing knives. Did she think there was going to be a war here or something? It doesn't matter now. Outside we said goodbye to the others with a nod and "adiós", which they did the same to us. When they got into their limousine and drove away, we followed suit and also got into our limo and drove to our villa. It's hard to believe that Cecilia belongs to the López Mafia, I really expected anything, but not this.
