As the door opened, Santiago, Liliana, Acaimo, Alberto and Florentina walked through the door. Federico, Emilio, my parents and I went to the side to make sure they got through. They all greeted us with a hola until Alberto started speaking. "Thank you very much to the López family for the invitation. I hope we can clarify everything today and schedule further meetings about the Russo Mafia." "Sánchez family, I am pleased that you have accepted our invitation. I see it the same way you do, and hope that we can clarify everything today and more the Russo Mafia," said my padre.
Afterwards we went into the large dining room, or the table was already well set. Today we have gazpacho as a starter, tortilla as a main course and churros with chocolate sauce as dessert. We sat down at the table again like we did last time, i.e. the highest ranked people, my padre and Alberto at the head and the rank after them on the right. With my father it would be like this, my mother comes first, then Federico, then me and lastly Emilio. Alberto is followed by his wife Florentina, then Santiago, Acaimo and Liliana. Since our table is large, it can fit many people. Today we do it this way: eat first and then talk about business.
The meal is quiet and relaxed, every now and then there is a brief conversation about boarding school or other private matters, but otherwise there is a pleasant silence. The starter and the main course have already been eaten, but since we can't all eat anymore because Carolina has outdone herself again, we'll eat the dessert later. The silence is interrupted by my padre saying, “So, which topic should we start with first?” First talk about the events against the Russo Mafia, or first about the enmity?" "I would prefer if we first discussed the Russo Mafia and then talked about the enmity. That way we might not be conflicted yet and can think more logically . If that would be okay with you?" said Alberto, whereupon my mother spoke. "But of course, I also think that the order is more logical." To which we all nod in agreement.
"So who has any ideas from you as to how we should proceed?" asked Alberto, whereupon I spoke up. I thought about it in advance and suggested it to my family, to which they agreed with me and my padre said so did he "We should introduce a few informants, two or three, into the Russo Mafia, at the headquarters in Capri. They should then work their way up as quickly as possible to get very prestigious positions and thus get better information There should be one or two from our mafia and one or two from their mafia. Because it is too dangerous if we leave, because we could be exposed more easily, because we are or can become better known, but we are not anyone from the Mafia. They should be familiar people who have a higher position so that they don't jump ship to the Russo Mafia. We should threaten them a bit with family and friends so that they don't jump ship. When you've worked your way up, you deliver The information will be passed on to us down to the smallest detail so that we can then discuss further steps on how to destroy it. In the end only one person should survive and it should be us. If the plan doesn't work or isn't sufficient, maybe two or more of the López and Sánchez family should travel there and check the situation, assess it and see if they can hear anything from the outside. Who else can you talk to if you really need that part of the plan? Then when we have the most important information and know what they are planning to do against us, if they are planning anything at all, which I think they are, we will strike and, at best, destroy them. But we can still discuss how exactly that will work."
The Sánchez family looked at me in disbelief and speechless, apparently they don't think that good plans can come from women. Santiago has a slight smile on his lips, but you can still tell that he underestimated me again. "Is the plan coming from you or from them Fernando?" Alberto asked, probably not thinking that I came up with it, even though he knows that I was able to trick his son and one of their men. "Yes It comes from Cecilia, when she suggested it to me, I thought it was good and thought of something like that myself. Of course it still needs to be refined a little more and possibly supplemented, but for now I think the plan is actually pretty good "Good," said my padre with pride that can be seen in his voice. Alberto looked at my father and me in surprise. “I can only agree with you, the plan is really very good for now. Does anyone have anything against that?" Alberto asked, looking at everyone, but especially at his family, because he probably thought that my family had already agreed to what they did anyway. Everyone nodded in agreement.
We talked more about the plan and added to it. We also selected the people who go to Capri. The Sánchez family has chosen one of their confidantes and so have we. They fly to Capri in two days to get into the mafia there. You arranged a meeting there to get into the mafia. They can manage the admission ritual that you always have to do to get into the mafia anyway, because you always have to shoot and fight, which they can already do through our mafias. Since we haven't been able to do more so far, we decide that we've talked enough about the topic today.
But before we start with the next topic, namely our enmity, let's eat our churros. There is simply nothing sweeter to eat in Spain. Especially when you eat them with powdered sugar and chocolate sauce. The others and I ate everything with relish before we wanted to continue, but were interrupted by Elena running up. She had a tray with sangría on it. This is a wine-mixed drink that is similar to a punch and consists of red wine, fruit pieces, fruit juice and alcohol. Elena placed a glass in front of each of us. She stayed with Santiago a little longer and you could tell how much she adored him. You can't blame her, he looks good, but you still don't have to make it so obvious. And unfortunately I have to admit that it bothers me a little, but that's probably because she interrupts our conversation just as we were about to start. But Santiago paid her no attention, which brought a slight grin to my lips. But it goes out quickly because I don't want anyone to notice it. When she goes out, she swings her ass more, which is a stupid attempt at attention, but again it doesn't help her because he didn't pay any attention to her this time either. We toasted together after she left and took a sip from the glass. I don't actually like wine, but I like this drink, which is actually something like that, and it tastes really delicious.
"I would say we move on to the next topic of the evening. I assume that your children have no idea about our enmity, like mine. But since they will find out at some point, I would say we put all our cards on the table and reveal them. You mentioned last time that our enmity arose from a misunderstanding. Is that correct? Because if so, our ancestors probably made a mistake or misunderstood something," my padre said to Alberto, breaking the silence. "Yes, it's true that it's a misunderstanding, I found it out through my old diaries ancestors found out. But first of all we should explain to everyone why we are actually enemies with each other and hopefully only were later and we can put aside our enmity. Do you want to tell them or should I?" said Alberto. "You can tell you," it came again from my padre. "All right, our friendship began a few generations ago. Strictly speaking, your grandfathers started it, and it still has decency to this day. Since neither side gave in and the enmity developed like that It all just started with a harmless ship shipment that was stolen. The evidence, which was fake, made it look like it was the Sánchez family who stole from the ship, but in reality it was It's the Russo Mafia, but they still don't admit it to this day and it hasn't been proven 100% to them. There were valuable drugs and weapons on the ship that were supposed to bring in a lot of money, but because they were stolen, a lot of money lost as a result. The López Mafia was able to continue to exist even without this delivery, but we all know what it's like then. A small thing is turned into a big one, until at some point everything escalates. To date, neither of the two mafias have pulled themselves together and put their pride aside for a moment to clarify why they have existed for a while. Luckily we're a little more mature and are trying to get rid of the enmity." Alberto said. We all looked at him in shock. Somehow I can't believe all of this, I don't think he's lying, but in general it's all like that. Because of that You've started a big enmity over something small, of course I know how the mafia is when it comes to something like that. Either you eat or you're eaten, but you can still unnecessarily turn a mosquito into an elephant. Since we're not completely easy on him To believe this, he has to present something as proof. For example the diaries, of course you can fake them, but if you look closely you can tell whether it is real or fake. My padre apparently had the same thought, as he said, Can you prove that somehow?" You could hear the disbelief in his voice, but he tried not to let it show too much. "Of course, here are the diaries," came Alberto again, whereupon Florentina took a diary out of her bag. From the outside it at least looked real. She handed it to my padre, who read it with concentration and looked at it.
After a while he finished and the next words that came out of his mouth probably changed everything. "I believe you, everything looks like what you're saying is true. There was actually no reason then or now for this act or lie." We all looked at him in surprise, as he usually didn't accept another opinion so easily. Suddenly he and Alberto stood up and shook hands. They both said at the same time “peace”. Then sit back down at the table. We all picked up our glasses and toasted each other, saying "to peace." We drank the glass empty.
We all chatted for a bit before the Sánchez family said goodbye with a nod and an "adiós" as it was already late. Which we did right away. I went straight to my room after giving my family a good one night. In my room, I took everything off and slipped into a pair of simple panties and a large t-shirt that goes up to my mid-thigh. Since it's not mine, it's from Federico or Emilio, since I am I often borrow clothes from them, but I never give them back. I quickly went to the bathroom to use the toilet and brush my teeth and then went to bed.
What we have to come in the future. Will we destroy the Russo, or will we die in this action ourselves? But at least one thing has already gotten better, because the hostility to the Sánchez Mafia has been eliminated and if things continue as before, everything will be over quicker than expected. Hopefully everything will work out, but I doubt that, because when does everything work without any problems? Since today was a tiring day, I went straight into a dreamless sleep with these thoughts.
