Chapter 5. In the private lodge

All the light in the room was pointed at me.

With shivering legs, I stood in front of the room just by the iron pole that ran from the floor to the ceiling. My heart had started pounding and I was sweating despite all the cold in the room. That was a feeling I could never forget.

While the man was peacefully seated on a couch hidden in the dim light in a corner of the room where I could barely see his face. All I could see was his silhouette. His face was masked in the dark.

“Just do it!” I urged myself all in vain, I was stagnant gazing at the pole with goosebumps all over my body.

After several thoughts, I finally managed to clutch the pole. Anyway, that was what I thought meanwhile, in reality, I was inert.

“Hurry up!” I quivered as a huge terrifying voice came in a fast past making my heart pound even faster than before. I was so uncomfortable that I could barely breathe properly.

“I'm sorry, sir, — I can't do this…” I hurried to the door. “Humm…” he grumbled.

Then a wild slam sound followed. Not too loud but loud enough to call for my attention as I curiously turned back to catch a glimpse of what it was. It was the sound of a thick bundle of green banknotes whacking the glass table.

“Damn it!” I cried deep within.

“Do it and this will for you…and more?” he said. Then I saw his hand raised out of the shadow with a shining wristwatch and he placed another bundle I the table and withdrew his hand.

Then he send forth his hand, but this time he had a remote control. He is on the music. It was a nice RnB. I guessed I had a rock on that fucken bar.

I had no choice so I moved back to the pole and I clenched it.

All I had in mind was the damn money on the table and my sick mum. I slowly strolled around the pole. Blank minded like I had forgotten all the dance steps I thought Besty.

I used to be a very good dancer back in school and I was quite good at strip dance as well. Although I usually told myself that the only man I was ever going to strip for is my husband.

According to me, not even my boyfriend desired it but there I was stripping in revealing stress for a stranger that even his face, I couldn't see.

I started, going up and down, rubbing my ass and rolling in the pole according to the rhythm. I felt awful the vibe wasn't there. It was cold. His silence didn't help. I had no idea whether he was appreciating or not.

“I'm not good at it sir, I'm sorry” I rushed to the door. I opened it but it wasn't opening “Please, I have to leave. I don't think I'm up to stand or even worth your time and money. This isn't meant for me” I whimper.

Yet he said nothing. I shook the door “Please, I have to leave,” I begged. I was ready to forgo the money.

“Where to?” he asked with his scary voice. “Please, I have to leave this place that's all I know,” I said.

Unexpectedly, he stood up from the dark angle and gradually moved to me. Damn! I freaked out. He was breathtaking. He glared at me fiercely and I began to panic.

He was about 6feet tall, with well-groomed hair and beards. He had a three-piece black tight-fitting suit that was valorized by his broad chiselled chest with well-drawn abs every woman craved.

He stood upright like a long straight piece of wood. His posture was intimidating. However, what was creepy about him were his tattoos. They ran out of his arms which were covered by his shirt to his wrists which were visible until his fingers and right up to his naked.

So I even went future to presume that his whole body was tattooed. Weird! I started worrying if ‘Perhaps his balls and d*ck were tattooed as well.’

Bizarre right?, Yet I was right to think that at that time. He was a freak and that made me quiver more and more as he stood near me “Please sir, I'm of no use to you” I begged.

“You ain't going nowhere” he ruthlessly exclaimed. It was so annoying that I yelled back “I'm done dancing and I demand to leave. You can stay with your money”.

“You ain't leaving, you belong to me,” he said so confidently that it made me tremble. “What?” my eyes widened in shock “I belong to no one” I yelled, frantically.

“I bought you and now you belong to me,” he said with a cold expression, so cold that a freezing chill moved down my spine. “Don't be silly. We’re in the 21st century and you can't buy a human being” words honestly escaped my mind.

He moved back, gripped an envelope and flung it on the table “What the hell is this then?” he frowned while pointing at it “Stop acting up. You willingly signed those fucken papers for crying out loud”

I rapidly grab the envelope, took out the documents and read. I felt a stiff cold as if thousands of swords were piercing my heart as my eyes rapidly went through those papers. I was devastated. Those were the same papers Besty asked me to sign…

“No one can buy another human being, I have rights. I haven't even touched the payment yet and it's still on your table so I demand the cancellation of this ludicrous contract” I scowled helplessly.

“Unfortunately, payment has already been made to your boss and this one on the table is just an extra token,” he coldly said.

“My boss?” I exclaimed in shock. “Fuck, Mr Blaine” I grumbled in a low tone but my eyes already erupted with tears. “This is a clear misunderstanding, sir… but we can still fix it. Please, let me go and fix this” I deciphered, hopefully.

“Hmmm… No,” he grumbles. “Please, I will get you a more beautiful and more experienced lady” I exclaimed with a trembling voice. He frowned.

“Unfortunately for you, I'm beginning to like you, my little cupcake. I need no change. The deal sealed”. “No, no, sir, you don't have to like me… Please…” I cried.

“We will continue this discussion later…” he concluded. He was still speaking when I felt a sudden pull on my waist and press on my nose.

Before I could realize it, he was squeezing me in his arms, pressing my nose with a smelling handkerchief. I screamed, I cried “Leave… mmm… me… alone… n…” I was battling in vain.

The handkerchief had a choking smell that didn't leave me indifferent. I even couldn't speak properly.

“What the hell was going on,” I asked myself. I kept on battling until my eyes lids started being heavy. After a few seconds I was dizzy, or perhaps died…

He gently laid me down on the couch. Then he took out his phone and called “Max, come up!” and he immediately off the call.
