433 We're Going To Rescue A Princess



"Ara, ara~ How interesting~ This little thing is asking me to take my little one back to my room and pamper you however I like~ Ufufufu~" Mother giggled while poking at the orb, not even batting an eye at the King and Queen kissing each other right now.

Umm… I'm not surprised that Mother would hear something like that… And I'm assuming the King and Queen heard something related to making out with each other… But why is it affecting them that much?

I placed the Demonic Core back in my Pack of Folding and the King and Queen seemed to wake up from their trance.

"What… Why did I…" The King gasped before quickly separating herself from her Queen. "I apologise for the unsightly display!"

The Queen still seemed to be a little out of it since her eyes still looked a little lost.

Mother waved her hand, "Ufufufu~ Don't mind it that much~ I bet you were like this because seeing my little one here made you want another child, didn't you?"

"Ugh… I suppose since I've already done something like that, there's no point in denying it…"

"Ara, ara~ But you can't have my dearest little one, ok~ I'm the only one good enough to be my little one's Mama~"

Please, Mother… I don't think I can get anymore embarrassed than this…

Queen Levianne seemed to have recovered from her trance then as she sat back upright and looked straight at me, "Eh? Just now… Was I just hallucinating?"

King Justinia turned to her, "Hallucinating? My dear, what did that Demonic Core make you see?"

"Ah… Fufu~ I saw Aster calling me Mama and then suckling from my breasts~ That was so nice~"

Mother giggled, "Ufufufu~ Then I suppose it's good that it only happened in your imagination~ Say, my little one~ Would you like to suckle on Mama's breasts for a while?"

Thankfully, I was saved from this awkward moment when the King cleared her throat to get our attention.

"Ahem… I suppose we should address what we just experienced… Not only is the Demonic Core quite potent… It seems to be able to induce vivid hallucinations on the people around it as well… Though I wonder why it seems like there's also a difference in the effectiveness of it."

Mother cuddled me, "Ufufufu~ I would guess that it might have something to do with how deep the desire the orb is trying to induce is, but I do sincerely believe that my desire to pamper my little one far surpasses yours in wanting to make love to little Levia so that can't be the case~"

Uwaaaaa!! Seriously!! Is this how a normal meeting between relatives would go?! With the parents endlessly praising and fawning over their own child in front of their relatives?! I thought it would be the other way around where they would simply talk about their child's achievements but ignore the person themselves!

This is so embarrassing…

Justinia smiled, "I do not doubt that, Madam Nilm. But I think it also has something to do with who you are. If I am not wrong, a Demonic Core would have no effect on you no matter what."

"Ara, ara~ Little Justi really knows how to talk now, don't you? Ufufufu~"

I raised my hand slightly, "Umm… I think we should be more concerned about Tiara… I mean… Princess Tiara's safety, right?"

The King straightened herself, "Aster is right. My apologies for letting this conversation go off topic. But now we have confirmed for ourselves that these Demonic Cores may very well be the cause of this conflict. Even if it's not, they are still too dangerous for anyone to have it. I shall issue a decree to have them be destroyed immediately."

"Destroyed? Umm… Would there be some backlash from that? These things contain quite a bit of mana so they won't explode, will they?" I asked.

"Ara, ara~ As expected of my little one! You've already thought so far~" Mother gushed, using that chance to ruffle my head. 

I could see the King averting her eyes since she must have realised Mother was doing this to get back at them for their past visits with their children.

"Do not worry, Aster. I will have that in mind when disposing of those Demonic Cores," The King assured me. "But I need to return to the main topic at hand… Our little Tiara is in the hands of the demons and we would like to ask Madam Nilm for help."

Mother gave her a look, "Ara? Why do you even need our help? You already know where she is, don't you? You even know that she's currently safe too so why do you even need to do something as contrived as this?"

Eh? They do? I guess that explains why they aren't that worried at the moment.

If either Katsuki, Delmare or even Lisa were taken, I would be tearing up the city to search for them right now.

The Queen pursed her lips, "While it is true that we have our Royal Knights surrounding the place where our little Tiara is being kept… The fact remains that the opponents are demons who are stronger than your average knight… If we were to attempt a direct assault a lot of lives could be lost… We were hoping that Madam Nilm could provide us with some assistance for this."

Mother smiled at her, "Ara? But haven't I already provided not only the information of the little princess's whereabouts, I've also gathered information on when exactly they would use the princess to summon the demons?"

King Justinia nodded, "Yes… But three days is not enough for us to gather a sizable enough force to attack the demons and rescue our princess safely. I fear that the demons might choose to hurt our Tiara during our attempt to rescue her as well…"

"Ufufufu~ So I suppose you're hoping that while you get the demons' attention from the front, I can send in a little group to sneak in and get your little princess for you?"

The two Royals nodded their heads in unison.

Mother hugged me closer to her chest, "What shall we do, my little one? Mother will do whatever my dearest child wants~ Do you want to go rescue that little princess?"

"Umm… I like Tiara… So I don't want her to be hurt either," I admitted.

Unexpectedly, the Queen clasped her hands together and let out a gasp of surprise, "Oh my! Oh my, oh my, oh my!! Since little Aster likes our little Tiara, then it won't be a problem for Tiara to marry Aster, right? Then by extension, that would make me your Mama as well! I approve!"

Why does this Queen want to be my mother so much? Does she have a child fetish or something?

Mother stayed silent while continuing to stroke my head, a silent indication that she was leaving the decision to me instead.

Well, this was a no brainer for me. Tiara is a sweets lover like myself! She even brought me all those delicious sweets in the past! So what kind of sweets comrade am I if I don't go and rescue her from her plight?!

I nodded at the King, "You can count on me, Your Majesty."

Unexpectedly, the King actually shivered in her seat, "Oh no… Please don't use that title on me, Aster… Just calling me Sister Justi will do… At least when we are in private… If it makes you feel better, just think of this as a selfish request of mine."

Without a moment of hesitation, Queen Levianne also joined in, "And Aster can just call me Mama as well! There's no need to hold back! Mama will take just as good care of you as Madam Nilm!"

"Ufufufu~ That certainly sounds like a challenge, little Levia~ I sincerely hope that is not the case~"

"Ehehe~ Of course not, Madam Nilm~ I simply think that it's better for little Aster to have two Mamas~ Don't you think so?"

"Ara, ara~ I most certainly do not think so~ My little one only needs one Mommy and that is me~ Even if my little one desires two Mommys, I can be the one to fill that role as well~"

Seriously, why are the two of you even fighting over this?

Although I admit that it's quite refreshing to see my usually composed and infallible Mother being this jealous all of a sudden.

Dare I say… Mother's actually a little cute~

I looked at the King and she just showed me a wry smile in response.
