Special Day
Tyron's pov
"Beeeeeep— Boogsh!!"
"Hey!" I snapped when I felt someone hit my back, turning my head towards her direction, I gave her a death glare.
"Stop hitting me, will you?!" I complained but she just curled her upper lips and rolled her eyes at me.
"What now? Have you already imagined what might happen to you once you didn't let me take you home?" She raised her eyebrow, but instead of answering her, I tilted my head the other way, resisting myself from rolling my eyes at her.
Fucking annoying.
"Let's go, get your ass up there, and you better not waste my time rushing here just to warn you what kind of danger might catch you off." Face frowning, she stood up and immediately pulled my arm to follow her. I Irritatedly rubbed my nape and loudly sighed.
"Wait, how about my car? We'll just leave this here? Nevermind, just go by yourself—"
"Don't worry, I'll take it to your house after I take you home. You're talking too much nonsense, why don't you just get in? You're wasting my time here, mister, seriously!" She gave me an irritated stare.
Tss, who's the stupid one here who keeps on forcing me to go with her even when I refuse?
"Tss, do you even know that you looked really suspicious, miss?" I told her, being frank, and she faced me again.
"What? What makes you think of me that way?"
"Well, easy. Suddenly popping in front of me and telling me weird stuff, involving my parents about the things I don't even know where did you get, and now, rushing me to go with you? Do you honestly think I'm that stupid to bit your stupid trap, hmm?" I gave her a sarcastic smirk and slowly stepped forward to her place, but she didn't even flinch and just remained standing, looking perplexed.
Ha.
If she was just acting, then I could tell she was good at it, because I almost bite the bait.
"Really? I didn't know you were that genius and looked at me in that way. But seriously? Do I look like someone who's just going to waste my time telling you all of this shit and kidnap you? Duh? I might have been even richer than you. I don't need your money or what, what I'm worried about here is only your life, and nothing else, okay? I know you're important to Ciara, and she's important to my friend Jennifer," she explained.
Important to her? Nah. I was important to her, and I don't think she still thinks of me, after what I did to her.
"But if you don't really trust me, it's okay. I understand. I'll let you go drive on your own, just promise me one thing," I frowned.
"Don't you ever put yourself in danger. Be safe no matter what." He tapped my shoulder and a small smile formed on her lips.
"And by the way. On Sunday, cancel all your schedules, don't ask why. Just stay inside your house and don't leave no matter what. If ever someone you didn't know knocks on your, don't let them in nor talk to them. Be careful, don't let them catch you, Tyron. They're on your tail now," she warned in a serious tone, '' doesn't seem to be pranking me. But it doesn't intimidate me at all, if ever she's telling me the truth, then I'm going to face the shit who she was referring to.
Whoever they are, fuck them off.
"Take care," that was the last thing she let out before leaving me there alone.
With an occupied mind, restless body, and heavy eyelids. I didn't notice that I finally drove home, arriving at Hannah's house in just a few minutes. I have nowhere to run now that I'm carrying a lot of unwanted thoughts. It's getting heavy inside, feel like my soul was also giving up on me
Making my way step closer to its door, I can already sense that she's not there. No one is here. Usually, whenever I get here, she will probably run over me and engulf me with a comforting embrace after she hears my car beep. But now, no one greeted me, but I still opened her door which was quietly surprising because it was already unlocked.
Why didn't she lock her door?
"Hannah?" After I got in, I called her out even though I knew no one would answer.
I went up to her room, but she wasn't there either. Why is she leaving her house without locking her door? Is she welcoming an intruder here? When I saw nothing in there, I was about to close the door again when something caught my attention.
A familiar image that was darted on the dashboard caught me off guard.
What the hell is this?
Why was Ciara's face displayed all over here?!
My eye is pinned on the large photo placed in the middle of all the photos pinned there.
"Die?" I couldn't read the word properly because there were darts stuck in it, and I think I was even more terrified when there was blood surrounding it. I could no longer see the face of the person in the photo, but I'm sure it was also Ciara's photo, who was now surrounded by blood.
What in the world is happening and this board was fucking full of my her pictures?!
"I'll see you in San Roque," I snapped when I heard an unfamiliar voice coming from the outside who was obviously going to get in here at any moment.
Fuck, they might be caught me here.
I immediately looked for a place to hide. I looked at the bed and immediately hid under it before the door opened.
"When was it?" It's Hannah. I know it's her. Her voice seems irritated.
"On Sunday," the man replied, ''I peeked a little to see who Hannah was talking to, but I was surprised when I saw a man wearing all black clothes, and holding a mask.
It's him!
It was him who purposely ran into Ciara that night, and it was also the freaking bastard who broke into our house!
But what got me confused a lot was Ciara's photos darted on the board and the... knife Hannah's holding right now.
What's that for?
My eyes widened as the knife he was holding fell to the floor.
Fuck, she might see me.
I never got to get nervous like this when I'm with Hannah, but why is my heart racing right now as if I'm too scared she might find out I'm here, hiding under her bed. She never let me in here, because besides respecting her privacy, I never knew I might see unexpected things here that she is probably hiding from me.
She quickly picked it up and stopped for a moment.
Did she see me?
Fuck, why did I even come here?
"Wait, did you smell that?" Hannah asked the man beside her.
'Is Hannah an accomplice here? Why is she with this asshole?
"What?" The man asked, and even if I don't look, I know Hannah was now sniffing.
"Ah, that, it's just me!" Said the man.
"As if. You stink!"
"That scent is familiar," she added. I smelled myself and realized it was me. Fuck.
"It's here," I felt her footsteps approaching the bed. I was even more nervous when she was about to lift the bed sheet, but then, a sudden knock cut the nervousness building up inside me.
"Ma'am, here's the cake you ordered." I heard footsteps and an unfamiliar voice again. When did Hannah get a maid? And why didn't I see her earlier?
"Oh, great! Yey! The cake is here!" I peeked slightly and looked at the cake that was handed to Hannah. Those were two, a small one and a large box, the first one he opened was the small one.
Oh, that's where she will use the knife. I see. Fuck, that almost made me caught, thanks to a fucking cake, I guess.
"Oh, please put it in the refrigerator first, I'll bring it tomorrow to Ciara's house," she handed the cake back.
What? In our house? Why the hell?!
"Tomorrow is Ciara's birthday, gosh! It's good that I went online earlier. Facebook reminded me of her birthday. Aish! I haven't bought a gift yet, but I should go now!" She growled and left the room excitedly where the man followed her.
Ciara's birthday tomorrow?
But why does Hannah look so fine right now? I mean, as far as I know, she's now close to Ciara. So close that I find out she's secretly visiting our house whenever I'm not there just to hang out with her.
Doesn't she know what happened to Ciara? Does she even have any idea that the man she is right now was the person who did that to Ciara?
I lifted my head when I heard the door close. It was a sign that they were all out now because I could no longer hear any noise. So, I hurriedly crawled out from under the bed. I even wiped my forehead when I felt my sweat dripping.
"Jesus Christ! I forgot my bag in the room, Hyung! Please take it for me, it's just in my bed!" My eyes widened when I heard Hannah scream.
Shit.
I immediately averted my eyes and did not hesitate to run and jump out the open window when I saw it open. After all, it wasn't that high, so I fell to the ground neatly as I jumped over.
But I was nervous when, "Hey, who are you! Come back here!" I heard the man shout, but I wasn't a fool to turn around anymore and ran even faster and immediately took a taxi to get out of here, but then suddenly I remembered...
Fuck, my car!
"Manong, quick!" I was in a hurry when I got into the taxi that passed right in front of me when I fell to the ground earlier.
"There, there he is in the taxi!" I immediately lowered my head down when I saw them come out of the house and was about to chase after me, but Manong quickly started his taxi, which made me sigh in relief.
Ciara's pov
"Take your time, honey. Go and familiarize yourself, and make yourself at home. This is yours after all," Daddy said with a smile on his face, as they planned to take me here to the house and didn't send me back to where Ty and I live.
Why would I get back there? I don't even know him, right?
"Little by little, we will try to remind you of everything you forgot," he said. I just smiled at them. I still don't feel like getting along with them.
You don't need to remind me of the memory that will never be erased from me.
I ignored them and just secretly rolled my eyes. I miss this house where I, myself grew up.
"We'll leave you for now. Just go around and see everything that might look familiar to you. Maybe you could at least remember something from here," she smiled. "You know, this house is full of your memories." You mean, bad memories.
I didn't answer them again and just let them leave. After they left, I roamed my eyes around and thought of going to my old room from upstairs. As I entered the room, I suddenly felt a chill in my system.
I miss this.
Examining the whole place made me smile, noticing it still looked how it used to be, they didn't interfere with my whole stuff.
I walked over to my bed and let my tired body fall over and felt the soft and fluffy cushion. I remained in that position and savored the pleasure of feeling that I no longer had to worry for the next few days thinking of what would happen to me because this time I will finally let myself escape from the darkness.
"Ciara, honey." I gazed at the door when mommy appeared.
"Come here, you gotta look at something."
"What is it?" She didn't answer me and just pulled my hand while looking so happy. It got me confused. They're not going to do something stupid to me again, right? They won't gonna arrange me again with someone I didn't know... Oh God, if that happens again, please, just get me out of here. I'd rather be with you than suffer all my life with these same people who destroyed me before.
"Choose the gown you want to wear," I frowned when I saw a ton of gowns lined up in front of me.
What the hell are these gowns for?
"What am I going to do with these gowns?..." Looking so confused by looking at the different gowns with different styles and colors.
"It's your special day tomorrow," she responded. My lips loosen.
Day— what?! Special day? It's my birthday? What the—
"It's your birthday. I know you won't remember, so I'm reminding you. You haven't even celebrated your birthday for a few years, so we'll take this opportunity to enjoy your day."
"May I know what's the date today?" I asked. It's kinda sad because even the date of my own birth was just so blurry to me. I can't remember when it was.
"It's March 31 today and tomorrow is April, your day. You're now turning 21," she answered.
Oh, so April was my birthday. Isn't it funny to forget your own day? Lol. How could I even remember that when I never tried celebrating it.
"Choose your gown now, we still have to make an invitation card for your visitors," I smiled as she said those. Finally, at least once in my lifetime, I got to experience celebrating my own day without getting locked up in my room or in that dark abandoned room. It gives me a lot of trauma. I hate to think of it again. I have to move on now, he's not here anymore.
After spending an hour or two just preparing for the events tomorrow, I stretched my body and yawned as I could already feel the tiredness in my body.
"Do you want to go to sleep now?" I nod to her question.
"Go to your room, rest now. I'll just wake you up early in the morning tomorrow to prepare," she smiled at me.
Until now, I still can't get used to seeing mommy spending time with me. I already went back to my room and dropped my body on the bed again.
This day has been tiring even though I have done nothing much.
NEXT DAY
"Darling, wake up!"
"Time to wake up! It's already 7 in the morning." I pulled my warmer and covered my face when I felt the sunlight hitting on my face.
"Hmm.." I mumbled.
"Darling, get up now. Tyron is already on his way here. You're still laying there," I snapped, eyes widened as I opened my eyes and immediately got up from my bed.
"What?! Why is he going here?" I hysterically asked, mommy, sat down next to me.
"I told him to go shopping with you, while we take care of everything here, we need to prepare everything and you can't help here. So I decided, you go out and hang out for a moment, so you don't get bored here," she explained.
"I'm fine staying here in my room, while I wait for the event to start. You don't have to call him to go shopping with me, besides, I can also go by myself, why do you have to call him to get in here."
"Alright, sorry for not informing you. Don't worry, Jennifer will also go with you, she's here already."
"Already?!"
"Yeah, she's eating downstairs. She told me to take your time, but not too long," she said as she laughed.
That woman...
"All right, take a bath now. Tyron will be here later, just tell me if you're done."
"Yeah."
Why does he need to be with us? Can't he just drop off and go home? I don't want to see him.
