You took me for granted

Liliana's pov :

Fee rolled her eyes while handing coffee over to Justin, I snatched the mug of coffee from his hand, "what the fuck did you prattle in the school?" I remembered the rage and hurt in his eyes, and his eyes repeated that look.

"I love you, Lily! I know, I never told you that before but I always loved you, I felt like you were mine and I didn't need to tell you how much I love you. I can't even imagine you with somebody else, I accept all my mistakes but I was afraid of you that after knowing my feelings, you would stop even looking at me," he knelt on the floor, "I thought our families would arrange our marriage so I waited but now, I can't wait. Liliana Watson, I promise that I'll change myself completely for you, and I'll never again take you for granted, will you give me a chance?" He extended his hand to approach me.

I took a step back, I didn't want him to touch me again, "how could you love me? Where was your love? Why couldn't I see or feel it? You always hurt me and took me for granted. Do you remember the day when you smashed my toy and told my mom that I broke it?"

"That time, we were just five!" He again tried to approach me.

I slapped her face hard, "I started hating you from that day, Justin. I always wanted a friend who could be with me forever in every situation but you were just opposed to what I wanted. Because of you, I could never make friends," I retaliated and made a good distance with him.

I instantly controlled my emotions and all the childhood memories, "forget it! You need to know one thing that I love Jay, and you better stay away from us," he looked at me like he was hurt but I didn't love him, I couldn't comfort everyone.

"Lily!" My mom stopped me from going to my room.

"Mom, I'm exhausted." I was not in the mood to haggle with her.

Justin left immediately when my mother didn't support him for the very first time. I was even surprised to know how the queen quit doing advocacy for him.

"I'm sorry, Liliana!"

I froze on the stairs, my mom, the queen apologized…? To me…?

Without wasting a second, I turned to see her, "did you say something to me?"

"Yes! I'm sorry for everything, honey. The way you behaved since your childhood, I was always worried for you that you would behave like a girl someday or not, you would fall in love with somebody or not, so I thought about bringing you and Justin closer so that you could fall in love and live your life like a lady."

So it was her plan, fucking disgusting plan!

"Just because I'm a tomboy doesn't mean I'm not a lady and I knew that you were always ashamed of me because of my attire and I don't fit in your classy rich and high-class society but I DON'T CARE," I let out my furry in a shrill voice and folded my arms.

Her light brown eyes conveyed the guilt, "you'll understand me one day, you are not an ordinary person, you belong to this family, your surname imposes a responsibility on you."

"I don't care about my surname, no one can stop me from being just me."

"I'm glad to know that you are dating a good person who has a class and belongs to a similar family as yours," she still managed to be queen and I felt a bit relieved that she had no grievance from my love life as I wasn't in the mood to explain anything to her.

How could I expect something normal from her? She was going to judge a person from his family, surname, and financial status.

"Fiona, please, send some juice and ice cream to my room!" I glanced at Fee who perhaps had enjoyed the war, she was standing behind the sofa with a tray of salads in her hands.

"You are pissed off but I'm so happy to see your boyfriend, I wish you both can take it so far," she uttered and gave a tight-lipped smile.

I closed the door of my room and slept in my bed. It was a hectic day, everyone gave me back-to-back surprises that my mind couldn't handle. I closed my eyes and slightly drifted to sleep. To calm down my composure, I needed to sleep like a pig.

In the evening, my phone's ring woke me up from my sleep. I wanted to kill the person who disturbed my sleep, "tell me fast, what do you want?" I answered the call without even checking the name of the person who had called me.

"You," he said in a husky voice which made me blush.

I hated whenever anyone disturbed my sleep but if it's Jay, I would gladly wake up and talk to him for hours or maybe forever. It seemed so natural and spontaneous with him, nothing felt uneasy or different.

"You already have that…," he loved flirting with me so I also gave it a try.

"I never knew that you could also flirt, I'm loving this side of yours. I'm glad to have you and seeing that side which the world will never see."

He sounded complacent, I recalled him smirking and blushing, how hot he looked when he blushed! "Jay, I'm alright! You called to ask about Justin, right?"

Jay chortled, "of course, not! I knew what he did, Fiona told me everything and asked me not to call you because you were sleeping so I waited for almost four hours which felt like years."

I felt so fortunate to have Fee in my life, she cared for me more than anyone else. I didn't lock the door for her, she would have come with the snacks.

"So, are you okay with his proposal?" I loved teasing him, and somewhere I enjoyed it a lot when he became possessive of me.

"I'm not, I want to kill him for that but I don't want to spend my life in jail when I can spend it with you."

"You never leave a single chance to flirt with me, huh?" I giggled.

"I've waited for this my whole life and now when I have you, I don't wanna miss anything. And I called you to tell you that we need to complete the assignment soon, and Barbie has invited you and everyone else to her photoshoot, so you are coming, right?"

"Yeah, I would love to see her photoshoot. And we'll complete the assignment within three days. I want you to focus on the project when I'm with you, no flirting, okay?"

He must have pouted after listening to me, "okay! We need to concentrate on this, so you better not smile or show me your face when I'm working because it distracts me."

He kept flirting with me and I also flirted with him but I wasn't as good as him in that.

We were talking for hours, I didn't even realize when I put the pillow on my lap and hugged it. I wished I could hug him instead of the cushion.

"Will you take your dinner, girl?" Fee came into my room and I perceived it was night, then.

"See you tomorrow, Jay! Good night!"

"What? It's night…?" He perceived it so late like me, we started cackling and he finally disconnected the call after wishing me good dreams of him.

I looked at Fee who was standing near my bed with crossed arms, "we talked for hours, Fee. I can't believe this, time flies with him."

She stifled a giggle, "that's why you love him," she winked at me and I started laughing.

"So, how's it going between you and George?" I asked her and her cheeks flushed with red color, she was looking so cute in that red face.

"He is so nice to me, Lia. George never makes me feel awkward, sometimes I feel like it's a fairytale, I just love him and that's all I know. Our relationship seems a mess to everyone but we are like this and I love it when he cares for me and shows his love for me because he never shared anything before but now, he shares everything with me. We even talked about his past, and he said that he has moved on from that but I make him restless. Lia, I love him more than I ever imagined I could," she wrapped her arms around me while smiling.

I was so happy to see her happy, she deserved that happiness.

"George is completely opposite from what I thought but I'm happy to know that he is a caring boyfriend. And your relationship isn't a mess, I guess no one can understand what you have in a relationship because you are in that relationship so you know it better than the fucking world," I retorted and she nodded.

"And what about you and Jason?" Fee gave me that naughty look and I got what she wanted to hear.

"Just kissed, we are still virgins, okay!" I lifted my hands up in the air.

Fee blinked like I uttered something impossible, "you guys have so much chemistry, I feel like my whole body is on fire whenever he touches me. How did you feel when you kissed him?"

Was I supposed to give the details of each thing? "I can't explain it, you'll feel it when you kiss George, I'll ask him to give you that experience as soon as possible," I teased her and snickered.

"I was thinking about giving you romantic novels which I have read and some suggestions regarding romantic movies but I guess, you need to tell that shit to George, right?" She threatened me with her squinted eyes.

Being nerdy, I never showed any interest in those things but things were changing and I wanted to read about love and watch how people acted when they were in love!

"Fine! I won't say anything to George." I rolled my eyes.

"That's my good girl."
