Liliana's pov :

Alex chugged down the magical shot after cheering with my vodka. His eyes getting red as an effect of alcohol, I wondered what the drink was made of.

"I was so afraid of falling in love after dealing with my parent's issues. I thought love never existed but when Bella came into my life. She took away all my beliefs and made me believe that love is a beautiful feeling and I deserved to be loved. And see-"

He took a deep breath and looked into my eyes with so much pain. And that pain was terrifying me, I would never break up with Jay. I couldn't tolerate that pain, I would change myself for him and be a better girl but break up, no way!

He again started laughing as if he wasn't feeling any pain and slurred his words like a drunk that I guessed he already was, "see, how she broke my heart in the end with all her lies! Fuck, love! I don't want it anymore but this pain-" he pointed to his chest.

"Lia, this pain is killing me. I don't know what to do with it and I'm feeling so lonely suddenly. I feel like I don't fit in anywhere, with anybody. You must be wondering why I'm telling you this but just for your information, I already have swallowed a lot of alcohol before I came to you so I'm not in my senses. And to be honest," he came closer and mumbled in my ear, "I don't want to be in my senses ever."

"What's wrong with him?" Jay came and sat beside me. "Is he drunk already? What is he doing here with you and why are you letting him sleep on your shoulder?"

I didn't say anything, just took the next shot from the waiter and my whole body was burning with the vodka, especially my throat! It was the fourth shot of vodka that I just choked down and my head was already rotating a little.

"Please, keep your voice low baby! And your friend is drunk so help him to get his ass out of here." I put my hands on my head and threw my head back to get some peace.

"Are you okay, Lia?" Jay held the arms of Alex and settled it on his shoulders so Alex was putting all his weight on Jay. "Lia, are you okay?"

"Ugh! I told you to keep your voice low, I'm enjoying this music. You know, it's Taylor Swift's song and I love her songs."

"Drunk girl!" He sighed and carried Alex out of my sight, maybe he was sending him back to the resort. I seized another shot of vodka in my hand and started strolling to Fee, my steps were stumbling.

"Hey, hottie! Do you need help?" A strange muscular guy saved me from falling on the floor as I was about to lose control.

"Uh, no thanks!" I again started wandering to Fee.

I halted walking when a bastard's hands contacted my hips, I turned to see who it was and it didn't surprise me when I saw the same guy who protected me from falling. He was a jerk, and his actions proved it.

"Touch me again and you'll regret it!" I challenged him and shot him a disgusting look with my squinted eyes.

He raised his hand to touch my shoulder, I was fully prepared to punch that asshole but before I could show him some stunts, a masculine arm shoved me behind him and started beating the shit out of that jerk.

"Stay away from my girl! Otherwise, you won't like the outcome and I'll make sure to break your bones." My man warned that asshole guy and spun around to check on me.

"Make sure to cover your girl's body next time, she is a fucking walking invitation to every guy who is here." That jerk dared to comment about my dress.

I couldn't care less about the guys, fuck them! My simple attire was boring for my boyfriend and the short clothes were an invitation to every guy.

Fuck it! I was done with the judgments of guys. Taking the shits from boys wasn't my job.

How was my life going and why was I still waiting for my boyfriend's permission to punch that motherfucker's mouth?

My blood was boiling and it needed something cold so I devoured the remaining alcohol in the shot and came forward to punch that jerk.

"Get one thing straight in your fucking head! A girl doesn't need your approval to wear anything, she can wear whatever she wants and a girl's outfit is never an invitation for any fucking guy," I screamed while pointing my index finger to him and giving him the taste of my second punch in the end.

I needed more alcohol to cool my anger down, I lingered to take one bottle of whiskey and rambled towards my best friend.

"Hey, bestie!" Fee stood up from the couch to hug me. "I missed you so much!"

"As if!" I rolled my eyes and sat on the couch. Surely, she wouldn't have missed me when she was with her boyfriend.

"She is drunk, Lia, so never mind!" George popped his head up and frowned.

I took a chug straight from the bottle and placed it down on the table. "Well, that was the plan!" I shrugged off.

Theo glared at me in disbelief, maybe he didn't expect me to drink that much. He rested Barbie's head on his shoulder. "Guys, I guess we should leave now. She needs to sleep." He stood up while carrying Barbie in his arms.

"Yes, sure! Take care of your drunk girlfriend!" George mocked as if his girlfriend was sober.

"You, too my bro! You, too!" Theo pointed his eyebrows at Fee and everyone giggled.

Fiona was already mumbling something staring at the empty glass. George rolled his eyes looking at her. "Theo, I'm joining you. Well, where are Jay and Alex?"

"Jay took care of Alex and Jay," I looked around to find where he was but he was nowhere to be seen. I sighed and took a big gulp of whiskey. "You guys leave, he'll be here soon. I'm waiting for him." The words came out of my mouth in a slurry way.

"How are we supposed to leave a drunk girl all by herself here?" Theo again took his seat and wrapped his arms around Barbie after making her sit on his lap.

"Fine!" I frowned and chugged down the bottle.

"Why the hell do you have to be a superwoman? Can't you just shut the fuck up?" An outraged voice made me turn around to see my handsome man.

My subconscious was saying that I will need the special drink of that tattooed bartender soon. My eyes were barely opening before he came, I was drunk but as soon as his voice fell in my ears, it was the beginning of my being sober.

"Fuck you, dude! I can take care of myself." I blurted out, grasping the bottle tightly.

Jay held my arms and made me look into his eyes. "Dude? Seriously? Last time, I saved you from your friend and now that jerk and still, you think that you can fucking take care of yourself?" Justin wasn't my friend, he was damn pissed off and spitting the rubbish out of his mouth.

Theo barged in, "Jay, she is drunk. Can you be a little mature?"

"Fuck off! Mind your own business! I'm talking to my girlfriend, why don't you take care of your girlfriend?" He shouted at Theo and removed his grasp on me.

"Oh, yes! I'm his girlfriend, why are you not taking me to your room? I want to ki-" Barbie bombed but before she could complete her sentence, Theo's hand covered her mouth.

"George, please take her to the resort!" The effect of alcohol was slowly fading away and the situation was becoming more clear to me.

Theo nodded and took the exit, George was still standing beside me with Fiona. She passed out a while ago and was sleeping on his shoulder. His eyebrows were furrowed in perplexity as if he was asking me whether I could handle my man or not.

I nodded and blinked my eyes once to assure him that I could deal with my pissed off boyfriend. He cleared his throat and articulated, "have a good night, guys! I'll take my leave before any of you kick me out of here."

Jay sighed and scowled at his words. When we were both alone finally, he again gripped my arms and gaped into my eyes. "Why can't you shut your fucking mouth?" He muttered with his gritted teeth and again started his bullshit.

His hold on my arms was so tight that it would leave some marks on my skin. Not to ignore, it was painful.

"Fuck you!" I cried out and with all my force, I got rid of his grasp. "I'm a human, not your pet, do you realise that? I'll wear whatever I want and I'll keep my fucking mouth open. You know what, just fuck off! You can't control me." I made my way out of the club and started roaming on the streets of Singapore in the night after consuming alcohol like a skunk but I was completely sober after listening to Jason's fucking words.

"Do whatever you want! I'm done with you!" He shouted from behind me and drove his car off.

I was standing on the road all alone and his words made me stop from taking any step further. Withstanding the pain of my first heartbreak, my knees felt too weak to stand. I fell on the road and my knees collided with the soil. Tears started rolling down my cheeks as his words kept echoing in my ears and mind.

Being alone was written in my destiny. Even after getting everything, it just faded away from my life because it wasn't for me.

My mind was wondering if I should go to the club again and take that magical shot to get the release from the pain that was making a hole in my heart or I should go to the resort by cab and pack my stuff and take a flight to Los Angeles because tears weren't stopping and I was feeling so vulnerable for the very first time in my life.
