High hopes

Liliana's pov :

"You won't believe girls, he has bought me twelve dresses just for a two days stay. And now I'm confused about what to wear?!" Drying my hair with the hairdryer, I put my phone against the mirror so I could chat with girls on the video call.

A hot bath in a jacuzzi tub for an hour was kinda good for my mood, I used strawberry body wash and played with the bubbles for a while. I could say that I was on the ninth cloud and the reason was Jay. This side of him was making me fall in love with him more than I already was, I was feeling like a princess and he was my charming prince.

I was smiling and blushing so much nowadays, the effect of falling in love could be seen on my face. Probably the effect of falling in love with the right person, I was in love with the last version of him but I wasn't this much happy before.

This updated version was the best version of him, the beautiful flowers were blooming in my life, he wasn't giving me butterflies in just stomach, he was decorating the pages of my life with the flowers and butterflies as I always had wished for even though I didn't wish for a guy who could love me like that, I wished for a friend with whom I could feel happiness just by being around him, I could live and enjoy the life.

The previous pages of my life had dust, a few pages were burned, a few pages had black spots, a few pages I tore down when I was furious, but suddenly I felt like those pages didn't matter as long as the new pages were beautifully painted by him.

"Hey! Look at this bitch! She is daydreaming," Fee caught my attention.

Barbie chimed in, "with open eyes and smiling like a teenager!" She commented and giggled.

I didn't even realise that I was smiling, I immediately suppressed my lips. "We're teenagers, Barbie unlike you who is gonna graduate soon and in the starting of her twenties." Smirking, I put down the hairdryer.

"Anyways, show us the dresses so we can help you out and go back to our businesses." Fiona declared and Barbie ate her sandwich.

Strolling to the cupboard, I complained, "I'm starving here, don't know when Jay will finish the cooking and open the door?!"

"Don't worry! You'll eat yummy food, that's for sure! He's been practising for two weeks," Barbie mumbled while taking a bite of a sandwich.

"I guess Jay did it right. If he would have kept the doors open, Lia would have jumped on the food till now." Fiona jocked and they both started chuckling.

Picking up all the hangers in my hands, I walked to the mirror side and showed all the dresses one by one to them but they didn't choose any. "Girls, what am I supposed to do now? I've shown you all the dresses, you didn't approve one." I scowled and shook my head in disbelief. Asking them for help was possibly a mistake.

"I guess that red dress is the best for tonight." Barbie pointed towards the dress that I threw on the bed a few seconds ago.

"Yes, that one is better than the rest of. Curl your hair and please, wear blood-red lipstick this time! Give a break to maroon and pink lipsticks. Do you have heels and lipstick?" Fee raised her eyebrows and typed something on her laptop.

I picked up my sports shoes in my hands and showed them, "I've only this. It was a surprise, guys, so I didn't bring anything. Fortunately, he has bought a few make-up things."

"Thank me later for that!" Barbie winked and added, "it's fine, Lia! You are on the beach so you won't need shoes or heels or any footwear, now get ready fast and apply light makeup after curling your hair." Barbie suggested as an expert she was.

"She just knows the basics so she can't put on heavy make-up," Fee mockingly uttered while keeping her eyes still on the laptop. "Everything is sorted, right? So get ready and send us your pictures later."

"Yup! And please, don't get pregnant yet! I'm not ready to be an aunt this early." Barbie winked at me.

I rolled my eyes at her joke. "Shut the fuck up!"

"Well, I won't mind. I like babies. Anyways, I have to do some work now. I'm on my job and trust me, after having a hangover and wild sex night, sitting your ass on the desk and doing your job is the toughest work." Fee yawned and sipped coffee.

We giggled and hung up the call. I didn't tell them about the bikinis and lingerie he had bought for me, I was feeling too shy to even wear them.

As I didn't have any other option, I kicked off the bathrobe and picked up that red little piece of cloth and covered my naked body.

I stared at the dress for a moment, it was a cute off-shoulder dress. The straps would drop on my arms, but the length of this dress was too short for my preference.

Gathering up all my courage, I put on that fit dress which completely stuck to my body as a glue that felt like the upper level of my skin. I threw a glance in the mirror while twirling in that dress, it highlighted my body parts. Every curve of my body looked perfect in that dress, and it ended just below my ass or I could say just upper my thighs.

I was going to curl my hair but as I remembered that he liked my hair naturally, I left it open. After all, he was going to make my hair a mess in the end. Heat met my cheeks as this thought came into my mind.

Applying compact powder, I finished my make-up with the bloodshot red lipstick and a thin layer of eyeliner and a light eyeshadow. Wearing my perfume, I was all set for the date night.

"Am I allowed to ruin those pretty lips?" He stood on the door with a sweet smile on his lips.

I shook my head as no and he pouted. "That pouty face won't work, baby. You've locked me in the room for more than two hours, you'll have a punishment." I sultrily strolled over to him and outlined the collar of his black suit followed by the button up with my finger before kissing his cheek. "I thought you would wear your favorite denim jacket but here you're with the perfect handsome date attire," I pointed my finger at his suit.

"Ahem! I thought you would wear what I preferred," he bent and whispered in a low voice.

I slapped his arm as I remembered he preferred nothing. "Such a jerk you are!" I rolled my eyes.

"By the way, you are looking so sexy." He winked at me and nudged his elbow to the gesture of holding his arm like a girl would hold on a date. "May I, my lady?"

"Don't say it when I asked you to say it! Well, that's too formal! How about this?" I put my hand on his waist and so did he, smiling.

As soon as we reached the hall, I headed to the kitchen but he stopped me. "Not there!"

"So you burned all the food and now you are taking me to a restaurant, huh?" I giggled and stepped outside of the house.

My hands automatically reached my mouth after seeing the view, joy danced through my heart. It couldn't be real, I was probably in a different world or it was merely a dream, I was sleeping with my eyes open.

The white curtains were beautifully covering and hanging on the wood pillars, the flowers were encircling the pillar, to keep the curtains glued with the pillars. White was becoming my forever favourite colour after witnessing this beautiful scenario.

Lights adorned the white curtains, the lamps were shining around the tables and between the roof of fabric that was above the chairs, so many flowers and glass lamps were decorated. A bottle of wine and food was placed on the table beside the bouquet and between the candles, it was his plan for a candlelight dinner date. The path from the house to the chairs was equipped with rose petals and two borders of yellow lights and scented candles.

Besides the chairs, at a little longer distance, the same decoration as my terrace was done with the white high curtains and the lights. Two pillows and a huge mattress was placed beneath the place where curtains were ending. Glass lamps and the fragrance of roses adorned the sand and night. On my terrace, it was a tiny set-up, but Jay had created an enormous set-up. Plus, it didn't have as much lighting as here, and especially those flowers.

Beautiful was too little word to praise his efforts for creating that set-up. I was being mad at him for locking me in the room for more than two hours, but it was worth it. If he wouldn't have locked me, the feeling that I was getting after seeing that wonderful sight couldn't greet my heart.

"Too shocked to say something?" His hands circled my belly and his chin was peacefully resting on my shoulder. Kissing my cheek, he turned me to face him. "Please, say something! Or you can just thank me with a kiss, I won't mind." He shrugged and made a pouty face.

I didn't utter anything but hid my face in his chest, holding his waist tightly as if he was going to run away.

He rubbed my back gently and planted a short kiss on my hair. "Let me pick you up, then!" He again picked me up in bridal style so my dress won't be demolished before the dinner.

Wrapping my arms around his neck, I sloped my head on his shoulder. "Are you for real?" I touched his lips, he smiled when I stroked his lips with my fingers. "You're a charming prince, every girl's dream! How could I be so lucky to get you?"

"I'm luckier than you, look whom I'm carrying in my sexy, strong arms?! Liliana Watson, a princess who lights up my world with just one pretty smile of hers." He kissed my fingers who were shamelessly caressing his lips. Although my eyes lingered on his face.

"You are spoiling me too much, and after this, you're giving me high hopes."

He ambled, keeping his eyes on me. "You deserve to be treated like a princess, and I'm gonna spoil you so much until you call me sugar daddy." He smirked and winked, flirting was a thing he had mastered.

"Put me down, baby! I want to do something." He raised his eyebrows, but I smiled to assure him that everything was fine. He nodded and settled me down. "You've done great efforts in organising this so I want to experience this sweet route like this," intertwining our fingers, I grinned all ears to ears.

He kissed my hand and we stepped towards the best dining table in the world, located at the beach. "No praise for my hard work for this and this, huh?" He pointed towards the twinkling set-up and his body one by one and made a puppy face.

"I was thinking of rewarding the guy after the dinner who worked really hard to make me feel like a princess, but let me just say that it's gorgeous and you're looking so hot! Who waits for the rewards?" I shrugged and suppressed my lips to hide the smile.

After all, I had learned flirting, too.
