Are you impressed?

I was stunned by what she said. I mean the dress was more than enough so what else were left. I inquired to clear my confusion, “What can those things be?”

Both of them smiled and Nancy said, “Oh my god, how can you be so naïve?”

She raised her hand on air leaving the fingers and started counting.

“Make-up”

Andrew repeated after her ‘Make-up’ and caricatured her.

“Hairdo”

She folded her second finger.

Andrew copied her ‘Hairdo’.

“High heels”

“Jewelries and stuffs”

“Manicure and pedicure”

“And lastly…”

“Boyfriend”

‘Boyfriend… boyfriend?’ he also looked surprised as I was.

“Wait what”, both of us spoke at the same time while we looked with confusion at Nancy.

She cleared us, “Yes, you need a handsome boyfriend which will make him feel like a living person who just got shot at the heart.”

Before even I spoke, Andrew said, “I don’t think so she needs a boyfriend. She alone is enough to make her ex dead while breathing. And in this short period of time how can we go and search a boyfriend for her. Besides all these, she will not be comfortable too and she cannot be in a relationship with a man whom she just met.”

It felt as if he took each and every word from unspoken me as he pinpointed everything I wanted to tell. So, I just agreed with him and said, “Yes, Andrew’s right.”

Nancy left out a small laugh and said, “Who told you that you need to be in a relationship? It will just be an acting.”

Andrew spoke again, “Where exactly we go and find the one who will agree to act? Besides I don’t think so Sarah will be comfortable.”

He was right again. I just nodded in agreement.

Nancy again laughed and said, “Why are you both acting so stupid? Who told you that we need to go and find a man?”

I… I understood what she meant because she looked at Andrew with a tilted head and eyebrows raised. But looked like he still did not understand so he asked, “What do you mean?”

Nancy cleared his doubts finally, “I mean it’s you… Tubelight.”

He looked more shocked than me. He pointed himself and said “Me”. He looked at me with question in his eye. Maybe he was asking for my permission. I spoke finally. I mean they were not letting me speak. “I don’t think so it is necessary. Andrew might be busy too and it might be awkward to act for me. I…”

Nancy cut me off in the middle, “If you have problem with Andrew then we can find another one.”

I said, “No, It is not like I have problem with Andrew, It’s just that…”

She cut me off again, “Okay, I am not hearing any reason now anymore. You guys are doing what I told you to. You guys do not need to act too much too because you guys just need to be normal. A little bit of acting in front of the person who needs it, that’s all. It is not for a whole day too, just for a few hours. Andrew meet us later in the entrance. I have already made everything ready for you too.” She nodded at a staff beside her and said, “He will take you to your outfit. Take your leg off that ground and go with him.”

ANDREW’S POINT OF VIEW

I said, “Give me five minutes. I want to talk to Sarah.” I took Sarah’s hand and we went out of that shop.

We both reached out. “Are you fine with it?” we asked each other the same question at the same time. She took a long breath and said, “I guess we can do it. But only if you will be comfortable. Like Nancy said it is just for few hours anyway.”

I don’t know but I felt a little heart broken. But was still happy that only for few hours was also like a good thing for me, if I could help her I would do anything if she was okay with it. I nodded and said, “Okay then meet you later.”

She smiled and went back in. The staff came and I went with him to my outfit. Surprising enough for me, Nancy had done lots of preparations for me too. An outstanding outfit that matched Sarah’s. Some makeup and hairdo too. An expensive shoes and watch that matched my outfit.

SARAH’S POINT OF VIEW

After I went in, she just took me out again. First we went to choose some jewelries. She told me in the way that the mall was owned by their family. I don’t know why but I did not feel much surprised. Both of us started looking one for ourselves. She chose her necklace and earrings very fast. I was still at confusion. Because all those looked too expensive. She brought a piece in front of me and asked, “How is it?” It was a simple yet beautiful diamond necklace with a bracelet and earrings. I admired it and told my honest views that it was beautiful. As soon as I told my view she said that we were taking it.

I said, “But…”

She cut me and said, “It is a gift from my side. Please don’t say no otherwise I will be sad.”

I did not want to take it as a gift like that and she was paying for all other too so I said, “I will accept your gift if you let me pay for other expenses then.”

She smiled and said, “Okay… okay.”

After choosing high heels and a beautiful matching clutch, we went for hair, makeup, manicure and pedicure. After I opened my eyes I felt like a different person. The makeup was simple as I told but still I looked elegant. I felt happy. We changed our outfits too.

I praised Nancy after I saw her. She looked more beautiful and she just stared at me for a minute and said, “You look… amazingly gorgeous dear.” We took a few pictures and she called Andrew and we went out. I slowly walked out and carefully as the dress was long too.

I felt as if everyone who came in the mall looked at us with awe. We finally reached the entrance and there stood a handsome guy in a matching suit as mine in front of an expensive car. My boyfriend, for few hours though. I smiled at myself. He saw us and I felt so funny because he had his phone on his hand and it fell down and he too looked at us with his mouth opened in shocked.

I waved my hand in front of his face and he finally came back to his senses. Nancy asked, “So, how do we look?” He said, “Gorgeous… Beautiful as an angel.” Nancy said again, “I guess the compliment is not for me.” He surprisingly said, “Yes”

He laughed and said, “Both of you look good.”

I went near him and asked him teasingly, “Are you impressed?”

I laughed with Nancy as we could see him shocked.

Nancy said, “Okay enough with all these. Let’s get going.”

Nancy said, “Andrew you are going with Sarah as you will not obviously come from our family side even though we were invited because of business matters. So, come with Sarah.” He smiled and nodded. We sat in the car and Nancy also went in to sit in a car which was ahead of us.
