SARAH’S POINT OF VIEW

I parked my car and took my phone out trying to call the sister but it just was ringing and ringing but no one picked it up so I ran towards the main door but… but I just got surprised. The place was beautifully lightened with beautiful colored lanterns and lights. As I stood there surprised, a little girl came to me and gave me a white rose and said, “You should follow the path we all will be showing you.” I thanked her and I walked with my heart thumping faster with every step I took. And as the girl said there were children standing on the path each of them welcoming me with pink and white roses and guiding me the way. At the end there was Edward and he gave me both roses. I hugged him and asked if he was fine and he nodded and he said me to walk further.

My heart was beating faster. I walked and there were two of the sisters who were the caretakers. They put a flower crown on my head and took the flowers I carried and took me few steps up, but I could not see anything because it was dark. They left my hand and I called one of the sister wondering what was happening. Suddenly, lights were on and there was Louis in front of me smiling brightly and we were in the middle of the love shape made by lights. He pulled me a little closer and he gave me a flower bouquet of red roses and I took it and as I took it, flower petals started showering on us. I was already surprised with all those before and now Louis also. I thought the orphanage had planned this for me but it seemed different after I saw Louis.

I asked, “What is all these?” He put his finger on my lips making me to stop saying more. He pointed up in the sky and as I looked up, boom boom boom, the fire crackers were lighting brightly on the sky writing three beautiful words, “I LOVE YOU.” I was already in tears. I looked back at him and he got on his knees and said, “Sarah, you are the most important person in my life. I promise that I will always be there with you in all your thick and thins. I will be there to be happy with you when you are happy and share your sadness when you are hurt. I will be there for you in every step of your life.” He took out a beautiful box and opened it and a beautiful ring twinkling in the light could be exposed, he asked, “I know this might be sudden for you but I have waited for years only for you. I don't think so I can wait any more. Sarah, Will you marry me?”

I was so much in tears, I had never expected all these and I was crying and along with tears and smile, I nodded and said, “Yes… Yes Louis.” He put the ring on my finger and stood up and I hugged him and I could hear the cheers from the children and the sisters and also the firecrackers started blasting. I hugged him but he carried me and twirled around, hugging and at a moment I could feel my legs away from the ground. He screamed, “I love you Sarah.” I screamed back, “I love you too Louis.”

He took me down and said let’s let the lanterns go up high in the sky. I did not want to do that because it looked so beautiful in the ground also. So, I said, “Can we just not leave them like that?” He said, “It will look more beautiful up in the sky.” I agreed and then every children took each lantern and Louis said, “Every one let us scream about what we love when we let the lanterns go up in the sky on the count of three, okay?” Everyone said, “Okay”.

Then, he counted, “Three… two… one…” “I love you Sarah.” Louis screamed.

I screamed, “I love you Louis.”

I could hear the children scream, “I love you cheese burger... Pizza… chocolates...” After that food deliveries were made for them and Louis and I bid farewell to everyone because he wanted to take me somewhere else. We went in my car because he sent his car back with John. He drove and took me to the place where we first introduced ourselves and I pushed him. It was one of his hotel. He took me to the same floor and same room. I was being excited and nervous and happy and loved. The room was decorated more beautifully with candles as the source of lights and heart balloons all over the place. He pulled the chair for me and I sat down and he also sat.

I looked at his charming face and I said, "Louis, are all these real? Am I not dreaming? I just hope it is not just a dream." He pinched me slowly and I cried, "Ah." He laughed and said, "It is not a dream. Let's order first. I have not been able to eat after breakfast arranging everything for you." We ordered and everything was served so soon. We went to balcony after eating. We were enjoying the view together with our hands clutched together. I turned and looked at him and asked, "What if I had not agreed?" He said, "I knew you would agree but still I was scared. I don't know maybe I would just let you feel comfortable and again asked to be like before only and not to stress yourself much on the things I said and did." "I love you so much Sarah." He said it again.

I moved closer to him and kissed him as a reply. Then, after we parted from each other he smiled to me and asked, "Did you like the proposal way? I wanted to do it more grandly but I was scared that it would stress you so I just made it small one." I smiled at him and hugged him and my face on his chest and I said, "I am more than happy. It was the grandest one. I will never forget today in my whole life. It is one of the best days in my life. I am so happy that you came into my life Louis." A drop of tear fell down from my eyes and he kissed on my forehead. We went back. He took the hotel's car and I went back on my own.
