"ANYTHING FOR HER"
"HEY!" it was late and Andrew found out that his sister Samantha was still awake.
His sister faced him with a smile. "I thought you weren't coming home?" she then took a glass, put some ice, and then poured just the right amount of wine.
"I came from Lana's house," the young man can't help but widened his smile after mentioning that name.
With a teasing smile on her lips, Samantha replied. "You look so happy and contented, Andrew," she said sipping the wine from her own glass.
Andrew smiled again at what he heard. "I also can't understand myself. But that's true, I'm contented and happy now. I've never felt like this before, just now," the young man said without wiping the smile from his lips.
"When will you introduce me to them?" Samantha asked him again.
Andrew shrugged his shoulders before answering. "Anytime," he winked at his sister afterward.
"Oh by the way, before I forgot. Patricia called me, she said she's having a hard time contacting you?"
Andrew did not reply to that and instead just poured another shot of wine on his glass.
"Hey, Andrew," Samantha was trying to get his attention when he remained unresponsive to what she just said.
"Yes, I can hear you," he replied to her after a while.
"Why don't you call her? I think it's important. Anyway, aren't you in speaking terms? Did you have another misunderstanding with her?" Samatha asks consecutively.
Andrew just sighs with his sister's questions. After that seemed tired so he massaged his own nape.
"Yeah," he admitted and then finished the wine on his glass.
"Really? Can you tell me why?"
"She wants me to retract what I said in my post that Andrea is my daughter," he confessed to Samantha then stared at her and smiled bitterly.
Samantha let out a weak laugh before speaking again.
"You know Andrew I've been noticing Pat for a long time that she has feelings for you," his sister seemed pretty sure of what she said.
"That's impossible. Patricia is smart and everything has been clear to her since day one," he insisted.
"Yeah, but if something happened between you and her already then her feeling for you might have been developed already. I am a woman, big brother, that's why I say know," his sister pointed out.
"If that is the case, then will it be possible for Lana to have feelings for me too?" his own question made him smile.
"Why you are acting like a teenage boy?" after saying so that was when Samantha rolled her eyes.
That was when the young man clicks his tongue. "Just answer my question," he insisted.
"Isn't she a fan of yours?" Samatha even reminded him.
"I know, but we both know what I mean don't we?" the young man said meaningfully.
Samantha laughed at him. "How can I answer your question if I haven't met her yet? But you know what if I am sure of one thing is that surely you have feelings for her. And that is the reason why you can't avoid her," said Samantha.
Andrew was stunned and thought about what he heard. "Because we have a child," he explained.
Samantha raised an eyebrow at him. "Really? Is Andrea really the only reason?" she said in a tone that was not convinced of the reason he said.
Andrew laughed as he acted. "It's up to you if you don't want to believe what I'm saying," he said as he left his sister.
"Goodnight! Let's talk tomorrow!" Samantha chased after him as he went up the stairs.
He just waved at her while it looked like a broken record was repeating in his hearing what Samantha had told him.
Is it possible that he really has feelings for Lana so he can't resist the young lady? And that also is the reason why he just feels that strong desire for her?
The young man sat on the side of his bed and then suddenly it occurred to him what happened between her and Lana earlier in his house.
The house that he found out was originally owned by Lana and her aunt.
And a while ago, what entered his mind when from his condo he went straight to her house again to talk? But as always, something else happened.
What if what Samantha says is true? That he has special feelings for Lana?
Confused at the thought Andrew dropped his back on his soft bed.
He wasn't sure so he didn't want to say anything first.
But if there’s one thing he’s sure he feels for Lana regardless of Andrea’s presence, it’s that and the fact that he’s willing to do anything for her.
Anything for her, even if Lana for example asks him to quit show business, there will be no problem for him.
Because Lana was so important to him.

THE next day, Lana was surprised to see Marius' car parked in front of their house.
"Good morning!" it was Marius' warm greeting to her.
"Good morning, Marius. Why did you come so early today?" she asked smiling as she let her best friend in.
"Can we go to church today?" the young man's unequivocal answer to her.
That was when Lana quickly searched for something to say. "O-Oh, actually, well. Okay, I already promised Andrew that we will go to church today, with Andrea," she said in a hesitant voice.
Enough of what she said to quickly wiped the beautiful smile from her best friend's lips.
"Tell me the truth Lana," Marius said in a firm but low tone. "Are you and that man?"
"N-No," she said.
"If that is the case, why do you always react like that when his name is mentioned?"
"What?"
"Do you love him?" it was a straightforward question from Marius other.
Lana is stunned by that question. Not because she didn't expect that but because she too was suddenly confused as to what she really felt for Andrew.
"What? Do you love him?" Marius' tone was impatient so the young lady was even more confused.
"I-I don't know," that was the safest answer Lana could think of.
With that, she saw the resentment draw in Marius' eyes.
"Why are you so unfair, Lana? We have been together since high school but you haven't learned to love me?"
She felt the pain with every word Marius uttered.
"M-Marius," she said when she saw the young man move towards the gate.
“W-What?
"Where are you going? You just arrived," was all she could say.
The man stared at her for a long time before his lips twitched and he spoke.
"I hope you told me before? I'm willing to do anything for you," Marius said in a very painful tone.
"Please, Marius," she chased after her best friend.
"I'll just come back when I'm okay," he said meaningfully before getting into his car.
