The silence is terrifying. I have no idea what comes before us. But…
“Is it just me? Or it was so quite around here?”
Migo stated as we five walk together. The moment I finally shake them off, I thought that I can finally have my way. Going in a safe place and minding my own business, it seems to not be the case at all.
“I can sense no one around”
Kheina mumbled as she find it weird. As for Kael who was walking behind me, he just keep silent like what he did the whole time.
Tack tack tack
The sound of Saypher's shoes started to emit sound as he hurriedly have his way to the front alley. In an instant, he get out with a corpse of an old man in his hands.
“Saypher!”
That one is a human. But I can clearly state how he have no life at all.
“I saw some movements in this area, rushing in, I saw this old man lying on the ground”
“Then why did you brought him? Isn't he dead already?”
Pointing at the neck of the man, he pull a piece of clothe tearing it apart to let us see some part of the chest of the man.
“He is not a human. He is a robot”
There, we saw strange thing that have a weird figure. With the clouds turning dark… it was as if the heaven was telling how it is not possible to have a peaceful night.

Someone's POV
Fighting on the underground of this building that we must protect… I can't help but wonder what was the reason why I am protecting it at all.
The only thing that is fresh in my mind is that… this is the last place we knew that didn't fall into ruin. All the other buildings already collapsed. Some might be standing still but it is not enough for numbers of people to stay inside.
Leiding my troupes as I am one of the high ranking officials, I am proud to say that I can slain the enemies in swift. But…
“Kid, you are safe now. Follow those adults and you will be far from danger”
I then put down the kid that I pick up. He was crying and I reassured him to let him be calm. Giving her to the other people that we saved, I wonder if there is still human out there needing my help.
I can see how the woman that the kid followed looks annoyed for some reason. But I have no time for it… maybe I will just check that later.
The elevator the room then run open. That makes me be alarmed that a sight of the terror enemy will soon come as they heard this.
“Lenro!”
I shout to catch his attention making him jump leaving the guard to our comrades.
“This damn kid again…”
He started as he know that this would not be easy. The one charging at us is the albino zombie. He is small… but still this kid is completely different from any other zombies we have fought with. He seems to be a mutated one.
“Striking his head would not be useful. Even cutting his limbs off just makes him regenerate!”
“I know!”
Shouting, we have no other option at all.
“I will burn him”
I mumbled loud enough to let him hear. There was strange thing in my body. I can emit flames that I can never do before.
“But… the higher ups said you can't use that!”
Shouting at me, I have no other idea to kill this brat. He started to move so agile. I know it already since I heard how the combat of him and my comrades ended.
It was as if it is nearly impossible to kill this guy.
“Why not just cut his head and heart at the same time?”
“tch”
I mumbled, ready to burn this kid, I want my sword up high cutting him into half. It is not bad to do what they say from time to time. But..
Just as I thought, I really didn't hope for it to be done so quick.
“There was no use”
I clash to his movements and he really is skilled. Just let me touch your head and I will make sure to burn you to ashes.
'We are humans and not a monster. Humans can't use flames. Can't you understand me? Your job is to save civilians not be a monster!'
Knowing how this will end, I am certain that people above would not treat me as the likes of them. But… since when did I ever think that we are all the same?

There… as the flames engulf him whole, I do feel bad for him. He is just a kid who got infected yet…

Mumbling as ashes fall from my hand, the break came and that means that we must get up to the building together with other survivors left in our guard. After this, the new patrol will aid our position.
Up in the place we protected, I already accepted my fate. How funny, why do I think that there is no changes at all.

A place where you belong is a place that is not complete without you. Now I doubt whether this is a place where I belong…
Walking with this kind of thoughts, I am not surprised that I was lost. It wasn't a place where I wander anyway. In the first place, the battle field is much known for me.

Walking away, it seems like it was time for the grand dinner. Bringging a salad, I thought that it is not bad if I would help prepare food. But it seems like everything was already settled table by table of where group you belong.

Opening the back door, it leads to a place where you can see the view outside. Protected by a wired wall, there was no glass like the inside. Weird. Why is there kids here?
There are brats in this area. They are supposed to be inside together with their groups. Why are they here?
A boy and girl who seems to be friends was eating together. A boy with a hoody playing something on his hand. A girl that was reading on the corner. A lady that was fidgeting and about to cry.
So many people are like this huh..
Do they not have groups just like me?

I asked which caught everyone's attention making them look at me who just finished washing her hands.

I thought that…. What I did is a selfish act. If only… I didn't approach them… then…
Being accused as a human turning into monster just because I used the flames that I can manipulate, they all want me out. Even if it was me who contributed a lot in helping them stay alive…

That night, I planned to get out of the building and face the world finding the place where I really belong. But as I fight with monsters, a commotion was heard. It was those kids fighting for their lives. Following me here… those idiots…
