"I'm sorry alpha. I just had my dinner. She was very tasty", he said. Blood ran cold in my veins. I wanted to break something. But I controlled myself.

"Was that a joke?", I asked him.

"You caught me. How could I hurt that sweet thing. Maybe I won't kill her just have a taste", he said.

"Then it would be last thing you will ever have in your life", I told him.

"Don't you dare to threaten me Alpha. I won't like it. Then your mate will suffer the consequences", he told me.

"What do you want?", I asked him.

"I want you to join your forces with me", he told me.

"I will never do that. I won't help you kill innocent people", I told him.

"It is your call. What is more important? Innocent people or your mate?", said Julio.

The phone went dead. I stayed calm. I could feel my wolf unhappy with me. This was the first time he ever communicated to me. I felt relieved. I thought I was getting mad talking to myself. I assured my wolf that I know what I was doing. I will help her without bowing to the demands of that blood Sucker.

"Alpha the other tribes are all frantic. They say they need you", she said.

"I can't help them at the moment. I need to get back my mate. Julio has her", I told her.

"I'm sorry", said Lana.

"It is my own fault", I told her.

"Had Mike contacted you?", I asked Lana. She nodded her head and gave me an address.

"This could be a trap", she told me.

"I have no choice but trust Mike", I told her.

I saw Seb, Tony and Li discussing the war.

"I need you all to do something", I told them.

"Just order alpha", said Li.

"I need you to divide our forces and sent to all the tribes which were being attacked", I told them.

"Is that the right move? What about our defense ?", asked Seb.

"I know what I'm doing Seb. Our defense is as much stronger without the rapid action team. Just tell them don't go on a rampage like last time. Their job is only defend the tribe and come back just as the job is finished", I told them.

"Got it", said Li. I nodded my head and walked off. I was being closely followed by Tony. I didn't stop him. I need him he is my right hand. I'm going on a mission which I won't be revealing to my team at the moment but Tony is different. He is my beta. There is no question of me being going alone without my beta.

"Where to alpha ?", asked Tony.

"To meet an old friend", I told him. I knew Mike had sent me that address despite fearing that he will be tracked. I knew one and only one reason for that. It was for tell me things. The things that he needed to say and he couldn't do it on mail.

I drove my car with Tony. We had found the house with little difficulty. It looked like a place for retirement. I wondered whether he bought it for an early retirement. But I doubt it. He was too much workaholic just as me.

When I came to the door it opened. I saw a tired looking Mike. I knew at this point he didn't care for being found out anymore.

"I need my mate. You took her from me", I told him.

"I took her because she asked me alpha. She needed some space and you knew it. I could tell from her face that she was done dealing with your shit. I saw the same one in my ex wife. I saved you from a potential break up ", he said.

"By giving her to Julio. He has her. He has threatened me to support him in the war in return for her life. I will fucking lose her and it will be your fault", I told him.

"No alpha it will be yours", he told me.

I took a heavy breath to calm myself. I was dealing with some heavy shit. My wolf is asking me to tear his head off. Calm down buddy we still need him I reminded him.

"Where is she?", I asked him.

" I don't know. But my guess is that she is in the maximum security prison", he told me.

"Tell me how to get there", I asked him.

"I have the complete blue print if you want. But I would suggest a stealth operation because you don't want to risk her life at any point", he told me.

"I know how to save her. Don't preach me", I told him.

"You know your problem alpha? It is mainly because you never listens either to your mate or me", he told me.

"Enough with the therapy. Where is the blue print?", I asked him.

"It is all in here", he said motioning towards his head.

"Are you kidding me?", he asked me.

"No I'm not. I want to come with you and help you in retrieving her. Also kill that bastard", said Mike.

"Get in line", I told him.

"So do you have any plan?", asked Mike.

"No. What is there to plan? I will get inside the prison and get her out of it. I will kill that mother fucker if I saw him," I told him.

"Good I like this plan", he told me with a laugh.

"I haven't laughed for a long time. I hope that girl reunites with you", he told me.

"She will be with me. Our story is not over yet. I want her. I lost her because I was an ass. I will remedy it soon as I saw her", I told him.
