Part 13

When they took the elevator, there was no one else with them—That's why Mia was able to express her anger. Unfortunately just as he was about to answer her, the lift stopped, and a guy stepped inside. Silvas.

Silvas Tate was a low-level number cruncher, a nerd. A bit of a loner. From the looks of the time of day, he was the one who was sent to pick up lunch orders to bring back for the more senior staffer in his section of the company. They talked only twice. Both the times to order lunch for Damon. She didn't know much about him except that he kept to himself.

Damon immediately took a step back, giving her enough space to breathe.

"Mr Tate," The CEO said as he crowded himself against the back wall to one side of the elevator.

Mia took the side wall closest to Damon while the guy who entered took the wall opposite her.

Nervously, like Silvas wanted to avoid gawking at his boss, he peeked for a second, one quick look, eye-contact only, before he answered. "Good afternoon, sir."

"Good afternoon. Are you taking orders today?"

"Yes, sir" The guy continued. He was busy studying his shoes though he almost allowed himself to admire her feet or rather ankles. To Mia, it appeared as if he wanted to disappear into thin air.

Mia cleared her throat, trying to muster a weak smile on her face. "Hey Silvas"

"Hi" He croaked, his eyes glimmering. "Do you want me to get you lunch?"

Mia gaped at him. That was the most words she has ever heard come out of his mouth. He's not a person to call attention to himself. He does allow himself one brief second of eye contact when she shook her head. "Thank you for the offer, but I have to pass. I'm having lunch with Jane."

"Oh, maybe next time then" He softly said with a nervous smile on his face.

Mia hummed. "Definitely"

The elevator stopped at Silvas floor. Silvas was quick to walk out after waving at Mia in particular. She didn't think much of it. Only smiled at him in return. A few employees were about to step in, but the scowl on Damon's face was enough to make them take another elevator.

As soon as the doors closed again, Mia swallowed loudly.

"You have a lot of admirers, Miss Grace."

She gritted her teeth. "Don't start now."

At her tone, he quickly slammed his hand on the elevator stop button and halted the lift. His eyes turned to her and were darker than she had ever seen. In one movement, he pressed Mia against the wall with his body.

"Don't move."

Everything in her wanted to tell him to fuck off; her body begged her to obey whatever he said.

Calmly he leaned forward and tugged at the files she was holding. Mia made a sound, confused at his behaviour but then he pulled a paper post-it and pasted it on the camera lens on the ceiling.

"Just in case."

She rolled her eyes. As if anyone would care. They were simply going to talk. Actually no she's not going to talk to him anymore. Mia remembered the way he behaved back in his office while his father was still in the room. Just thinking about it made her face red.

"Now, can you tell me why you are so angry?"

Her mouth fell open. "Are you serious?"

"That's why I asked"

"You touched my back and whispered in my ear. That's not at all professional. What if your father thought something is going on between us?!"

"Why would he think that?" Damon exhaled, leaning over her. "You're thinking too much."

She pushed her body away as far as she could, trying to maintain some distance from him. "And you're not thinking enough. What if he had heard you?

"He didn't."

"But he could have." Mia countered.

Damon scoffed, rubbing his temples. "You were nervous...Never mind. My father would never think like that. You know him."

Mia fell silent. She was aware of that. Her ex-boss was a kind man who didn't believe anything without thinking twice. Besides they were inches away from each other so he could not have listened. Still, it irked her that Damon did something like that.

"I'm not going to apologise for that" Damon murmured as he took one step towards her.

Of course not.

He pressed against her, and Mia gasped as she felt the size of his erection, which had grown even more, and that treacherous heat spread over her hip. A desire for contact began to build in her. The CEO leaned pulled her like he wanted to do since she started talking, or maybe before that. His one hand cupping the back of her neck and one tangled in her hair, jerking her forward.

Her protest died in her mouth when her boss bit down on her bottom lip. Suddenly, she went pliant in his arms, legs, jelly and trembling. Mia reached out to grip his shoulder. Damon swiped his tongue along with her teeth like he's trying to learn their contours, open-mouthed and desperate. Her fingers dug into his skin, but it only encouraged him to flick out his tongue. The CEO smelled of that spicy aftershave she has come to associate with him, and she wanted it so much Mia's dizzy with it.

The twenty-five-year-old scratched her nails over his scalp, just lightly, but it made him shudder. Good. Her body started to act on instinct and a leg wrapped around his hips, pressing against his erection, while her hands gripped his strands. Slowly, he pulled back, and they caught their breaths.

Mia wasn't sure why she was letting it happen again. But she couldn't deny it any longer. He had the power to make her so weak it's ridiculous.

"Such a feisty kitten..." Her boss whispered, his fingers tracing along the seam of her lips.

Sliding his fingers into the waistband of her pants, he looked into her eyes. Mia didn't say a word, letting him slid the fabric off her legs to the floor. Her skin prickled with goosebumps as the cold air hit her bare legs. Damon fisted a handful of her hair in his hands and pulled it to the side, exposing the pale skin of her neck.

Hot, wet kisses ran down her slender neck. His touch left a spark of electricity on every inch of skin he touched. Mia felt her breath caught in her throat as his hands came around to grab at her behind, his fingers digging into the skin. She didn't flinch when that situation made it right for Damon to take a bold leap.

The CEO hooked his index finger into the waistband of her panties. With there being no other barrier between them, the fabric giving, he kept his finger there catching onto the waistband. Using his other finger, he slid in his mouth, rolling it around his tongue and wetting it.

She patiently waited for him when the sound of material being ripped echoed around the room. Mia let out a little squeak of surprise as her panties were lying on the floor in pieces. Damon smirked at her, his wet finger trailing at her sides.

She sucked in another sharp breath. "Expect for another charge on the card."

He laughed darkly and pressed her against the wall again. The icy steel panels sent chills down her body, waking memories from the window that first time. Mia had almost forgotten how good it felt to feel the contrast - cold and heat, resistance and him.

"So worth it, kitten," Damon whispered.

The back of the index finger slipped between her legs to which she lurched forward, her eyes rolling back at the pleasure. Sure enough, when Damon used the index finger in a deliberative manner to nudge at her clit she froze.

Her boss spreads his fingers. With his fingers spread wide, he still had more than his hand can easily cover in their spread. An advantage of spreading his fingers was that he could easily slip in without any resistance. Mia arched her back, letting him tease her folds, playfully flicking at the bud.

Damon was enjoying every bit of that. Smug bastard.

Mia remained quiet. And still.

Her hands went around to hold on to his bicep, squeezing them at the lack of his activity. At that, he worked his thick fingers. Mia clenched her eyes shut as the tip of his fingers moved to her hole, feeling exposed and excited at the same time. He positioned his right index finger to where he can feel her gushing, clenching around the air.

"Please" She whimpered.

After what felt like ages, the CEO slipped his finger in. That one digit was enough for her to twitch around him. It's a twitch that sent excitement right down to Damons cock.
