OFFICIALLY LOVERS
CHAPTER FORTY SIX
TWO DAYS LATER
SARAH'S POV
I was unhappy when Jay told me we would be going back to the mansion today. It's because I still want to spend more time with him. I know that once we arrive back at the mansion, his attitude might change or something.
But notwithstanding, I was excited to see Max and aunt again after three days. I badly miss them so much. I know how sad Max would be feeling without me being around.
Max, aunt and Henry will be very happy the moment they learn Jay and I are officially lovers. I'm pretty sure Max will be the happiest of all knowing I'll always be there around him when he needs me.
“Is everything fine with you? What are you thinking about?" He asked, walking inside the bedroom.
“Nothing. I'm thinking about how sad Max must be feeling without me."
“We're heading back now, you don't need to worry so much about him."
“I just can't help it and also, I would like to ask you a question, if you don't mind."
"Tell me, what is it?"
“Will you forget about all that we both shared in the last three days once we arrive back at the mansion?"
“No, never. Those three days were the best moments of my life. What made you say that?"
“I just felt you might go back to the way you used to each time you start caring."
“Please, don't say that again. I wasn't sure about my feelings at the moment but now, I really do. I want you in my life, Sarah." He confessed, holding my hands.
“I also want to be part of your life and Maxs life as well."
“I really do love you Sarah and want you in my life. I want you to be there for me when I need a shoulder to lean on and to support me in raising Max to be a wonderful man and also be the mother of my kids.” He added, leaning closer to me before slamming our lips together.
***
We arrived in the mansion as Jay helped me out of the car, lifting me up with his hands before strolling inside the mansion.
I wasn't expecting to see aunt and Max in the living room seeing how Jay was holding me as it made me feel extremely shy with the way aunt was staring at us.
“Mommy!" Max called out, rushing towards us as Jay dropped me to hug Max.
“How are you doing, honey?"
“I'm fine mommy. I miss you."
“I miss you more, my boy." I smiled, pulling away from the hug.
“How have you been and why didn't you inform me you're going to meet Jay?" Aunt questioned.
“I'm sorry aunt. Something urgent came up." I lied while she smiled and pulled me into a hug.
JAYDEN'S POV
I felt uncomfortable with the way aunt kept staring at me the whole time while she was talking to Sarah, which made me decide to reveal the truth to her.
“Erm aunt, there's something I want to reveal to you."
“I'm with you."
“Sarah and I are officially together. She's my girlfriend now and isn't Max's nanny anymore but his mom to be." I announced as Sarah stared at me in shock.
“That's the best news I've ever heard. Why didnt say a word about it, you silly girl." She uttered, giving Sarah a little tap on the hand.
“I didn't expect that as well, aunt." Sarah responded.
“Yes, I'll have a mommy. Hurray! I love you daddy." Max screamed, jumping on me.
“Easy champ, are you that happy she's going to be your mommy?"
“Yes daddy." He replied while Sarah kept looking away shyly each time I locked eyes with her.
“I'm so happy you finally heed to my advice. I'm proud of you, son." Aunt stated and walked over to me before pulling me into a hug.
“Congratulations, boss."
“Thank you Henry."
I'm glad I made the right choice of a woman after Amanda, who I know will be very happy. I've finally decided to move on with my life and start a new beginning with someone else.
There's so much I still need to know about Sarah. Spending just three days with her was so much fun beyond what I had expected. She's kind, caring and loving, what more would I ever ask?
I've to protect her for the rest of my life. I won't make the same mistake I did five years ago. I won't let my guard down with anyone around her or my son. They're both my priorities and I'll make sure no harm comes to their ways.
“Henry, come with me. I need you to do something for me." I stated, heading to my study while he trailed behind me.
“What do you want me to do for you, boss?" He asked, after I settled down on the sofa.
“Make a reservation at my favorite restaurant and also order a diamond ring at the best jewelry shop."
“Noted boss. Is that all?"
“There's one more. A dress. She will need a dress for the date. Make sure it's beautiful."
“It will all be carried out as stated, boss."
“Thanks, Henry. I know I could count on you. So, what happened while I was away?"
“Miss Fiona showed up demanding to meet with you on the rescheduled dinner date you planned with her."
“Yeah, I forgot. I'll contact her and extend my apologies to her."
“But boss, you don't apologize over such things?"
“Now, I do. Reschedule the date tomorrow."
“Okay boss."
Henry is absolutely right about what he said but things have changed and it's all thanks to one person. I never believed there's actually a kind and loving woman like her after Amanda.
I wish Amanda was here to a replica of her attributes in Sarah and how she's taking good care of our son. The smile, laughter and joy she has brought to our home after five years of sadness and mourning.
I hope you are in a good place Amanda and you'll bless my union with Sarah. She's totally the best woman I've ever come across to be so innocent inside out.
I just hope things go smoothly with what I've arranged tonight. I don't want to waste any longer to officially mark her mine.
