Chapter 5 The Vampire King

"You must be the one Simon found in the woods." He stated giving me all of his attention.

"Y-Yes" I gulp nervously under his stare. He rakes his eyes over my body making me and I get really uncomfortable especially in just a robe.

"I got to say, your beautiful."

"Thanks?" I am not used to people giving me compliments, especially from a sexy vampire king.

Oh my god, did I just call him sexy?

He gets up from his seat and in a blink of an eye he was in front of me which made me jump a little. He slowly raise his hand to my cheek and I flinch a little from the contact of his cold hands.

He gently caresses my cheek while looking deeply in my eyes almost as if looking in my soul. I am oddly comfortable with this.

I see him do a motion with his other hand from the corner of my eye while still looking at him. That's when I hear the door close behind me. He must off told them to leave because I didn't sense anyone else in here.

"What's your name love?" He asked still looking deeply into my eyes.

"Elle." I whispered still looking deeply into his eyes.

"What were you doing on my territory, Elle?"

Oh my goddess, I love how my name sounds from his mouth.

"I didn't know I was on your territory." I whispered.

Why am I whispering? I quickly clear my throat.

"Oh really, why should I believe anything you say?" He asked now looking at my lips.

"Because am not lying." I said more firmly now and snapped out of my gaze.

"You really expect me to believe you?" He asked with an eyebrow raised.

"Yes! Why the hell would I be on your territory?"

Why can't you people just believe me?

"You tell me, you were found on my property." He drops his hand from my face and looks me in the eyes again.

"Well it wasn't on purpose, ok?! It was my first shift and my wolf took over so I had no control over it."

I am just so tired of my life right now.

"I thought the women shifted after meeting their mates. Why wasn't your mate with you?" He asked with a look of disappointment.

I shamefully put my head down, this is the first I thought about Andrew since I stepped in here and it felt good while it lasted.

"He rejected me." I whispered on the verge of tears.

He put is finger under my chin and slowly lifts my head up so that I am focused on him.

"Now why would someone reject such a beautiful person like you?" He asked.

He wipes the tear rolling down my cheek. At that very moment I was lost in his eyes again. Those beautiful ocean dreamy eyes, I am lost in and I can't look away.

"He is an idiot for ever letting such a precious thing get away."

Wow who knew a vampire could be like like this.

"Where are you going to stay?" He asked catching me off guard.

"What?" I asked surprised.

"Where are you going to stay?" He repeats again as he drops his hands from my face. I was getting so used to them on me that I missed the coolness they brought to me.

"I..I don't know, I thought I would look for an apartment in the city."

"I want you to stay here." He stated.

"What? I can't stay here" Is he crazy?

"Why cant you?"

"Because I am a werewolf and you're a vampire, I could never agree to this." I stated firmly.

I will not be living with vampires.

"I don't care, your staying here and that's final." He said attempting to end the discussion. Well too bad cause that isn't happening.

"No! I said I am leaving."

"I said you are not going anywhere, Elle!" he Shouted with authority. That was kind of hot.. What the hell am I talking about?

I am disgusted by myself right now.

"Why?" I still don't know what they want from me.

"Why what?"

"Why do you want me here?"

"Because I want you." He said walking towards me while I walk backwards. "I can tell you're a virgin from your smell. I could make you forget all about that mate of yours."

My back is against the wall and he is in front of me, giving us very little space.

I am speechless, its weird because I want him to do things to me. I just met him and I'm here thinking about doing things with this man.

A vampire.... a creature I have feared all my life and now I have these thoughts?

The goddess herself must be coming to punish me.

I see him look straight at the wall for a second before returning his attention to me. I give him a questioning look.

"I just called, Simon." He stated before walking back to his desk.

"What? Ho.." I was cut off by the door opening by Simon.

"Simon, please take Elle to her room."

"Sure. Lets go, little one"

"Wait, what's your name?" I asked the vampire king.

He smiles as if happy I asked. "Cristian."
