I woke up even before my alarm could do it job, without thinking twice I walked to the shower to have my bath. When I was done I grabbed my towel and tied it round my waist before walking to my room. I applied body cream on my body before going to my closet to pick my outfit for work which would always be a black texudo. I dressed up and walked to my dressing room and picked up my comb and comb my hair. When I was done I picked my briefcase and walked out of my room shutting the door.

I got downstairs and they maids where moving about doing their work, some greeted me but I ignored and walked straight to the dinning, only to find out that my food wasn’t served yet.

I dropped my briefcase on the seat closer to mine in the sitting room and check the time on my wrist watch and they cook was seven mins late.

Call the cook for me I yelled and the maid passing by got frighten and rushed to the kitchen.

The cook walked in sweating profusely as she bowed her head in front of me receiving to look me in the face, I guess she knows her offence.

“What was your offence”, I asked her as she fidgeted in front of me without saying anything. Speak up, damn it, I yelled loudly making her starled.

I haven’t served your breakfast sir she said with a cracked voice. I looked at her in disgust before taking my face off her.

You are fired I said without thinking twice and she fell on her knees begging me but I paid deaf ears to her and picked up my breifcase before walking out of her.

I could see the look of fright and pity in the eyes of the other maids but I don’t care, this should be a lesson to them all. Because time is money.

If it one thing I learnt from Dad is that, we should use our time wisely because it not just precious it also money I remembered and walked into my BMW driving myself to work.

I got into my private elevator and went straight to my office. I dropped my briefcase and opened my laptop to finish up my work.

Come in I said immediately I heard the knock on my door.i continued to work on my laptop without lifting my head to know who it was.

“Good morning sir” I heard the voice of my secretary said and I only nodded my head.

“Your coffee is served”, she said and dropped it on my table. “What are my schedule for today” I asked her without staring at her.

You have a meeting with Mr Jerry today, your sister’s engagement party is this evening also she listed. Cancel the engagement party I said and she did so quickly.

Is that all? I asked her and she she muttered a “Yes” to me. Get me a new cook by evening I said and she put it down in the notepad.

“You may leave” I dismiss her and kept working on my laptop.

Cecilia pov’s

I felt a tapped on my body making me turn sideways. Who is disturbing my sleep I thought groaning in my sleep. “Hey get up Cicil a voice said tapping me”, and I opened my eyes abruptly.

I turned my head sideways and my eyes landed on Amelia sitting on my bed with a tray. I sat upright and yawned lightly before turning to look at her.

“Good morning” she said and caressed my cheeks, while I smile and greeted her also before greeting Joanna who stood beside her.

Why are you guys here? I asked yawning and Amelia smiled pointing at the tray in front of her.

“Seriously guys, you brought breakfast for me you know am fine and hasn’t been better” I said while they stared at me in shock. But thank you so much I said and collected the tray from her after placing a kiss on her cheeks.

I uncovered the plates and when I opened it I saw scrambled egg and pancakes. Awwn’, aren’t you guys the best friend in the world I said giving them my cute puppy face and we all busted into laughter.

“Enjoy your meal, shower and come downstairs”, she said walking out. “Wait”, I said and they halt turning to look at me. I have something to share with you guys, I replied and they smile before leaving my presence.

“Well, I just wanted you guys to know about my decision because It wouldn’t be fair if I go on with it without letting you know be because you girls are family to me” I said beating around the bush.

“What is it Cecilia” Joanna yelled at me in frustration while I gave her an apologetic look.

“So, I wanted to inform you both that from today onwards I’m a Lesbian” I said to them smiling.

“What” they both scream in unison staring at me like I have gone crazy or something else but I put on a smile on my face.

Are you okay? You sure you aren’t down with a fever or something? Is it because of Aroan you made this decision? They kept throwing question at me without giving me any opportunity to reply.

“Am fine alright, I just made that decision yesterday and I think that my path”, I said to them and Amelia folded her hands looking at me in shock.

“Cecil this isn’t you speaking, I know this isn’t what you want irrespective big you being bisexual which I understand. I don’t think this is the decision because of what Aroan did to you” she said in a pleading tone.

“You don’t get it do you, it not just because of Aroan, it all being happening over and over again till it got to Aroan”.

“Don’t you think I need a break, you are my friends all I need is your support in this, am sure I would be happy this way” I said sniffing in.

Since it what she wants, I think it best we support her and she is right. She do need a break, Joanna said hugging me before Amelia joined sluggishly.

“Thank you so much guys” I said and hugged them tightly before running off Tomy room to call Betty.

I dial her number and she picked up Instantly.

~Hello who is on the line she asked with her sweet voice.

~ it Cecilia you gave me your number yesterday on the street, I said and she gasped.

~ I can’t believe you called, I never thought you would, she said excited.

~ So I was hoping we could meet up I said

~ Sure, I can’t wait she yelled making me smile.
