Episode 40

Micaela's POV

"Oh boy, look at how happy you are!" Sabrina exclaims and I giggled while I placed the cup of coffee on the tray.

"I have every reason to be, girlfriend" I replied grinning sheepishly. You've got to see me right now, I've never been this happy in my life. For the very first time I feel I've done something right in my life.

"Oh yeah, I see a lot happened last night between you two" she snickered and I glance at her.

"Hey, nothing happened!" I said hastily and she laughs. I know what she's thinking now, is the same busybody thought that drew her to my room last night.

"You expect me to believe that, young lady?"

"I'm being serious! Ferd and I didn't do anything, we only slept in the same bed".

"Indeed?"

"Yes indeed! Stop thinking dirty" I rolled my eyes at her and went to the oven to bring out the pan of love shaped cookies I singlehandedly made for my man and I placed it on the table.

"I saw you two last night.....wow! Look at those mouthwatering cookies staring right at me" she rushed to the table to grab a piece of the cookies but I blocked her way.

"Nah! There are not meant for you, there are for Ferd" I announced given her my best smile and she gave a deep frown.

"You mean you only made cookies for Fernando and not for me?"

"Yes ma'am" I nodded in response and she scowls at me.

"How could you do that to me? You know how much I love your cookies, why would you deprive me of them?"

"I'm sorry, I just didn't thought you'd be awake this early".

"Were you planning for me to die in my sleep?"

"Hell no! What are you saying?"

"Then why didn't you include me in the cookies when you know I'll still wake up?"

"Okay I'm sorry, you could just fix up something else for yourself or bake some for yourself you do know how to do that after all. I've got to take this breakfast to Ferd before it gets cold".

"You're not going anywhere if I don't have a bite of those cookies" she insisted and reached out for the cookies but I blocked her from getting close to it. "Step aside now" she warns but I ignored her.

"You should be the one to step aside. Please don't ruin my little surprise for Ferd".

"I'll only let you go if you hand me one of the cookies".

"Nope" I answered popping the 'p' letter.

"Then I'm sorry you're not going anywhere" she replied and wrapped her arms around my waist and we begin to struggle with each other.

"Sabrina I'm going to kill you if you tamper with my cookies!" I yelled but she ignores me and pushed me aside and reached for the cookies while I held her waist trying to pull her back. She grabbed a piece of it and my nostrils flares up and held her hand. Sabrina is so damn stubborn, sometimes I can't just deal with her but I have to when it comes to this one because I don't want her to eat this designed cookies specially made for my Ferd.

"Don't you dare have....."

"What is going on here?" Ferd's voice rang in the kitchen and our heads snapped at him standing at the doorway.

For a moment I was carried away with his appearance. How can someone look this handsome even when he's just waking up? My gaze travels from his half-combed hair to his handsome face and then to his armless black singlet that I could still peek through his great abs and broad chest and finally to his grey pants.

"Ha! Here comes our king!" Sabrina shrieks and gave a slight bow that got me raised a brow at her.

"King?" Ferd inquired shifting his gaze on me and I shrugged.

"Oh yes, King. My lady was about bringing your breakfast to you, my King".

As funny as that may sound from Sabrina I kept my smiles in check. Her plans is to distract me but I'm not letting her. "Hi Ferd, good morning. Did you sleep well?"

"Oh yes, I did" he answered smiling. "But I woke up not to find you in bed so I had to come search for you".

"Awwn, how sweet of you...hmm that sounds really.. really good" I heard like a moaning sound escapes from Sabrina and when I glance at her she was chewing something... not something, my cookies. My eyes widens and I gritted my teeth and my fist, she has succeeded in distracting me

"Sabrina!" I growled and wrapped my arms around her neck. "Spit it out!" I demanded holding her cheeks.

"Let...me...go" she croaked and munched the cookies in her mouth.

"Never!" I hissed and tapped on her cheeks. I woke up so early just to bake cookies for my man not for her, she doesn't have any right to have even a little bite.

"Babe, my own, let her go it looks like she's choking" Ferd butts in.

"She took out of your cookies, she needs to puke it out".

"My cookies? You baked cookies for me?"

"Yes, and I wanted to surprise you with it, you know like a breakfast in bed thing but my so-called friend here wouldn't let me to! She spoilt the little surprise I had prepared for you" I vented out my anger and held on to my friend like I'm going to strangle her this minute.

I heard footsteps approached the table and I squint at my right to find Ferd staring down at the pan of cookies. I watched as he sat down on a stool and took one of the love shaped cookies and crunched on it. "Hmmm, so yummy" he moans with delight and a big smile spreads on my face.

"You like it?" I asked.

"No, I love it, is really really sumptuous. You didn't tell me you can bake".

"Well, yes I can" I smiled sheepishly and I watched him take another cookies and crunch everything at once.

"Fernando, can I please have one piece of cookies?" Sabrina begs stretching out her hand for Ferd to hand her one.

"No!" I answered sharply for Ferd and he chuckles. "You're not having any other cookies not after stealing from me.

"But I didn't steal them!"

"Then what did you do? You took them?" I asks and she puckered her lips frowning. "Don't even fake that frown" I told her and she deepens the frown.

"Mine, just let her be. Come here and have a sit let's eat this together" he said and I squint at Sabrina.

"He said you should let me go. What? He is not offended I took his cookies, don't be so mean!" She snapped at me and I glared at her before letting her go.

"Next time I won't forgive you, I'll make sure you puke out everything you've eaten" I threatened.

"You wouldn't dare do that" she retorts and rushed to Ferd. Before Ferd and I would know what is going on she grabbed more than one piece of cookies and scurries off laughing.

"You crazy little bitch!" I gave a manly growl and wanted to chase after her but Ferd pulls me back and I sat on his laps.

"Let her have it, I don't mind eating what is left" he said in almost a whisper smiling down at me.

"You're sure about that? Because seriously is not fair that I took my time to bake and decorate the cookies just for you and now she...." Ferd silenced me with a kiss on my lips and my anger suddenly subsided.

"You look so cute when you are angry" he chuckles and wraps his arms around me.

"You think I'm cute when I'm angry?"

"Oh yes, so cute! Your eyes, your nose, your lips, in fact your whole body language is fun to gaze at when you're angry" he said and pinch my nose lightly and I giggled.

"Maybe you're seeing something else aside this angry bird girl sitting right in front of you" I grin widely and he laughs.

"You're exactly right my angry bird girlfriend" he pecks me on the cheek and my giggles grew louder. "Behind the angry bird girl is a sweet angel with a beautiful heart and the best smile. Her aura is everything to me" he continues and placed a kiss on my left arm and that sent sparks all over me.

"Oh Ferd, you're just so sweet" I said in almost a whisper smiling from ear to ear.

"I love the effort you put to serve me breakfast in bed, thank you. But...."

"But? What's the but?" I interrupted.

"A morning kiss from you and waking up with you cuddling me would have been enough to me" he said and my mouth flew open.

"Really?!"

"Yes really. Don't get me wrong, I really did appreciate your effort but I'd loved it more if I had woken up with you lying in my arms".

A slight giggle escapes from my mouth and I couldn't help but changed my sitting position. I stood up and straddle on his laps and I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer to me while his hand encircles my waist. His minty breath fans my face igniting the fire in me. "I never knew you were this romantic, did you take an online class while I was asleep last night?" I teased and his laughter fills the kitchen while I smiled waiting for his answer.

"Of course not! You told me to do what I know best and not to copy anyone, so here I am saying whatever first comes from my heart".

"You're just so so sweet, and for that I'm given you plenty kisses".

"Oh yeah? How many?"

"Uncountable" I grin sheepishly and kissed him. Our kiss started from lips sucking to tongue-locking. Soft moans were escaping from our mouth as we kept kissing for couple of minutes.

"What a beautiful sight to behold this morning" a female voice startles us apart and our heads jerks up to see Kim and Sabrina smiling like anime characters at us. I stood up in a haste like I've been caught in the act but he pulls me back to sit.

"Oh no, you girls do know how to ruin a moment" Ferd groans.

"If you were in your room we wouldn't have interrupted" Sabrina replied and Ferd glance at her.

"Was that really coming from you? Have you forgotten how you came knocking on our room last night just to...."

"You really don't have to mention that" Sabrina cuts in.

"Maybe I have to because you're just so nosy. You're yet to apologize for that".

"Sabrina did you really went ruining their moment last night?" Kim asks frowning at Sabrina.

"Is not what it seems, durh" Sabrina rolls her eyes and I smiled.

"Mine, you said you were taking me to a secret place today where they'll be some moment of privacy. So when are we going?" Ferd gaze at me and I giggled. I knew what he was trying to do, he wants to get my friends jealous.

"Oh yes, my darling. Just tell me when you want us to go there and I'll be ready to take you there" I replied playing along his game. Although is true we do have a place to be but I wasn't expecting him to mention it now in the presence of my friends.

"I don't care if we go right now as long as I'm just with you alone then I'm fine" came his reply and he entwined our hands and kissed my lips. I almost burst into laughter when I imagined what the look on my girlfriends face will be like right now.

"Okay then, let's prepare and get going" I said shortly after we broke the kiss and we both stood up and took a piece of the cookies each and headed for the door pretending like my friends weren't there watching us.

"Kim did you see that?" Sabrina asks.

"Oh Micaela, I'm so happy for you girlfriend. Congratulations!" Kim chirps and came crushing me with a hug ignoring Sabrina's comment.

"Thanks dearest" I hug her briefly and we let go of each other.

"I can't wait to hear the whole gist of how it all happened when you come back from your date!" Kim exclaims excitedly.

"Sabrina will be so honored to tell you the whole love story" Ferd intruded and I snickered. From my peripheral vision I can see Sabrina glaring daggers at my man. "Sorry, but we've got to go get ourselves ready for now" he took my hand and led me upstairs while I heard laughter behind us.

That should definitely be Kim's laughter not Sabrina, Sabrina is processing the words of Ferd and when she's done she will definitely retort to him. "I wouldn't beg for mercy if my friend decides to kill you one day".

"I know you wouldn't even stand her killing the love of your life" he replied chuckling and I laughed.
