Chapter 48
He had already paid her and that was already over. Ethan had no ideas why she still came to his house that late at night.
Ethan doesn't care if she did it or not, he would take it has pay back or revenge. Anything she would like to call it he was fine with it. It literally had to make it clear that he didn't want to see her in his house or anywhere close to him.
Eight hours earlier...
Sofia sat on the bed with crossed leg as she stared at Ethan.
"Get out of my house," Ethan spoke softly as he headed to his wardrobe
"And why should I leave when I haven't told you what I came here for?" Sofia replied.
"I do not wish to listen to what you have to say please leave my house," Ethan requested.
"Even if I told you that Ariana your lover was cheating on you with another man?" Sofia said before she stood from the bed.
Ethan was fighting the urge to push on the bed, after all he was a man and the way she was dressed was enough to turn him on.
She approached him taking advantage of his shock. She rubbed herself against him provocatively.
"What evidence do you have that she is cheating on me?" Ethan said with an hint of jealousy.
"Well, I haven't gotten the video... yet," She whispered in his ear.
"Then before you came to my house accusing her of such come with evidence," Ethan said before he moved away from her.
"I know you want me Ethan," Sofia said as she crossed her hands over her chest. Ethan nod his head before he gave a small laugh
"You think seducing me to sleep with you would make me want you? You should be smarter than this Sofia. Okay I sleep with you, the next morning I send you out of my house and what do you end up becoming ? Another one night stand!" He said before he laughed at her face.
Sofia nose flared in anger, at his words. All this was because he still liked Ariana. He wasn't saying it but in his mind. It was all Ariana.
"Give me one week Ethan, I'll prove to you that your damsel in distress was a cheater all along, you would realise you were just a dog following dry bone!" Sofia said.
"At least I still get the bone, what did you have? Nothing but spilt milk," Ethan completed.
"Leave my house please, or I'll have to use force!"
Sofia pretended not to hear him as she laid comfortably back on his bed. She knew exactly what she was doing. She wanted his arms around her body. That was the only thing that could make her happy.
His soft arms grabbed her tiny waist from the bed. He did it forcefully but that was what she wanted a simple touch from him.
"Thank you Ethan," She said as they stopped in front of her car.
He let go of her before he went back inside his house.
Ethan watched as she entered the car with a smile instead of a frown. It was almost as if she was happy that he was touching her.

The car stopped in front of the Brentwood industries, it had been months since he last came here.
Ariana was not going to be happy to see him here, but that didn't matter because he didn't come here for her. He came here for business.
All the girls in the building and outside on the streets were unable to take away their eyes on him. It was a lie if they said Ethan wasn't attractive.
The doors automatically opened as he stepped outside. He walked in and took the elevator to Alice's office. He preferred taking the public elevator more than the private elevator.
The elevator stopped at the second floor as two ladies came in. He gave them his most charming smile and that felt as if they could melt from his smile.
He liked the affect he had on women it was almost as if he was a powerful god. But it was different about Ariana. She wasn't going to fall for those tricks, she was past it. It only worked back then in highschool but as she grew older things changed and she became an adult.
The two ladies dropped on the fifth floor, while he continued to the last floor.
The first person he saw when he came down was Ariana's attractive friend, if he could remember properly her name was Lisa. He tried a lot of times to talk to her but she kept on ignoring him.
"Hello Lisa," Ethan greeted as he approached her desk.
"Good day sir how may I hel-" she stopped halfway as she stared at Ethan in front of her.
"Oh, Mr Ethan, what are you doing here? " She asked with a frown.
"I guess that's how you were thought to accept visitors that came to see your boss? I guess you don't like your job anymore," He answered in an attempt to intimidate her.
"I don't think Ariana would mind knowing that her Ex tried to hit on two of her best friends and make one lose her job?" She said with a never leaving smile.
"Oh, the press would love to hear about this too." Lisa added.
"Is she in the office?" Ethan asked sternly.
"The girl whom you cheated on or the one on the front table?" She asked as she removed her stare on him. "Anyways any of the one you seek they are both in," she said as she continued to look into the laptop in front of her.
Ethan glared at her before he fixed his suit and walked towards the direction of her office.
"Knock, knock!" Ethan said as he stood by the door.
"Open the door, I don't even know who it could be," Alice said from inside.
Ariana went ahead to open the door and she met face to face with Ethan himself.
Ethan had almost forgotten the eyes of her ex lover. He wanted to pull her in a hug to tell her how much he missed her but he had to refrain himself.
He barely gave her a smile before he walked past her.
