"The woman of the hour," Sofia smiled as she "stared" at the girl in front of her. She wasn't even a woman to her yet.

"The beautiful virgin herself," Sofia added as she circled her.

"Good morning miss Alice," Ariana said ignoring Sofia.

Alice smiled at her before she stood up to leave the room for them. She hoped it got bloody.

Sofia watched as Alice left the room before she moved closer to Ariana.

"I am talking to you Ariana, look at me," She said before she grabbed her face with her hands.

"I am fucking talking to you Ariana brown!" She said as she dragged get closer.

"Ahh," Ariana struggled to remove her hands from her face.

Ariana refused to use the most critical battle instincts on Sofia. Because she worked for her elder sister. Then a thought clicked in Ariana's head. She could charge them for harassment. It was as if Sofia had the same thought because she immediately let go of her face.

"What are you thinking of?" Sofia asked as she stared into her eyes.

"I was just thinking about what you would get me for dinner after I beat, if you kept on holding my face, let me not say beat, I will call it self-defense, " Ariana said as she pulled her hair back in a knot.

"Why did you tie your hair back? Are you planning to beat me up," Sofia asked hiding her panic.

"If it was the last thing I did before I went to him then yes," Ariana replied.

"Well, I had fun with your Ethan that night, when you abandoned the poor guy in a beautiful hall all alone with nobody to talk to," Sofia said.

"That's why I have you as a friend, to clean up my trash," Ariana replied as she placed her bag on the desk.

"I am also the owner of this company," She said as her face was visibly red with anger.

"At this moment I don't consider you as my boss, I consider you as an ex-best friend" Ariana said as she stared straight into her eyes.

"I hate you Ariana brown!" She said as she tried to hold her to her hair but she moved away.

"Respect yourself Sofia, this is your workplace, there are very important things in this office," Ariana said as she moved away.

"What do you want from me Sofia, you have everything you have Ethan you have the money you are rich! What more could you want from a nobody like me?" She asked.

"I want you to die, I hate you! I want to see you suffer, you don't deserve happiness Ariana brown! Do you know why I am here today, I am here to see your Downfall Ariana, I want to see you crawl on the Streets, I want to see you beg for help on the streets Ariana!" She yelled.

"Sofia..." She whispered, "what?!" She answered as she breathed heavily.

Ariana was surprised and shocked at the same time, how could she exhibit such hatred for a person. The funniest thing about all this was that she had never actually done anything to harm her. The person she spoke about was her own best friend. The person that stayed with her when she was sad or down or happy.

Where did all that lice go to? Was it all fake? Was it all a facade to get Ethan to herself?

"Sofia where is the girl that cane to help me up when they bullied me? Where is that girl that shared her lunch with me? Where id that girl that went shopping with me on my many dates with Ethan?" Ariana asked as her own voice cracked. Never in her life has she seen such hatred for a person.

"That Love died a long time ago," She whispered.

"Did it die or it was just fake?" Ariana asked as tears dripped down her face.

"It wasn't fake! It was there but it died," Sofia admitted.

Aside from the fact that she wanted to have Ethan to herself. She really got to like Ariana for who she was. Even though she wasn't going to admit it to her face.

She was the nicest and coolest person on campus. She had a carefree nature, she didn't even care about riches all she did care about was happiness. That was how her hatred for Ariana grew. She was poor, but she was still happy, she didn't have everything but she still managed to be happy. Sofia never really found her happiness as a teenager.

"Sofia, you have Ethan, You have everything, I can't possibly take my happiness? Right?" She asked.

"That is why I want to see you suffer, your suffering makes me happy, scouring under the hot sun to earn a penny will make me happy, really happy," Sofia said.

"How about we start with this?" Sofia said as she handed her a white envelope.

Ariana didn't even have to check to know what was inside the envelope. She had handed it to many people in her six years of working with Alice. She drew in a sharp breath as she looked at the envelope in her hands.

"Thank you for working with Ariana Brown, we have also compensated you for all your good work, and we hope to find you in a better place in the future," Sofia said with a smile on her face.

Those same words were the ones Alice made her say with a cold heart when she handed out 0a sack letter. The words were like cold worms on your arms. Every letter gave you goosebumps. Every word sent chills.

"At least I'll leave this place with peace and I'll finally get to sleep for days," Ariana said.

"Yeah, sleep in misery, because the next day you wouldn't even have enough cash to purchase simple water," Sofia said with a smirk.

"No, No I'll find a job soon, and the money I have will be enough to take me for six months because I don't spend like some certain species," Ariana said before she walked out of the office with her hands held high.

It was finally over she had lost her job. Her greatest fear has come to pass.
