Chapter 50

Arjun's Pov:

"Wow, I'm really impressed with your work Prem. I'm so glad that you're in our company. I love the way you grasped the concept and executed the way as I wanted it to be done. I hope our investors like this idea too" saying that I stood up and shook my hands with Prem. He's working in my office as a team manager in production department.

"Thank you, sir. It means a lot" he said while smiling politely at me.

I looked towards the members present in the meeting room "We have to seal this deal. It would help us to grow further. I hope you guys will not disappoint me"

"You don't have to worry about that, Sir. Everything will be done as per we planned" I turned towards Prem as he said with so much confident. I gave curt not at him as others started to discuss further details about the deal.

I must say Prem is very talented guy and he had executed the plan so well for this project but the thing here is this lad has too much of over confidence in him which is good but at the same time it isn't.

I sighed anyway I didn't find any error in this presentation and also the way he present things are impressive too.

We heard a knock every head that are present here in the meeting room turn towards the intruder. They very well know not to disturb while we're here if someone dare to knock it then it must be my nerdy assistant.

Only he dare to knock the door if there's an emergency otherwise he wouldn't do that.

Speaking of my assistant, I saw him peeking inside a little to see my reaction. I shake my head at his antics well his luck I'm in a good mood. I signalled him to come inside. He came inside with a nervous look on his face as stood beside me.

"Yes?"

I saw him gulped down with fearful expression on his face. I'm very polite towards to all of my employee sometimes friendly, sometimes professional and also very much approachable still some of them behaves like I will fire them at any moment.

I turned towards him he's sweating as if I'll beat the shit out of him. I'm not gonna do anything and for heaven's sake I haven't done anything to him or to any of them inside my office if they haven't done anything to trigger me. He's always like this and apart from this he does his work perfectly. That's why I have him around me this long.

I'm a good guy too but people here are making me or portraying me as if I'm a bad guy.

Well I become bad when it comes to my witch.

Only she can bring that dark side of mine.

I don't know what she has done to me. I'm so different around her it's like she switch on something inside me.

Speaking of my little witch, I turned around to look my assistant. I can now guess he wants to talk about my little wife that's why he's not opening his mouth even after he came inside. He's still twitching on his place nervously. I sighed while excusing myself for few minutes and took him out to hear him.

"Now, tell me. What happened? What did she do this time?"

"Sir... Sir... Ma-" he stuttered badly while I patiently waited for him to complete "Sir... Madam... madam friends-" I raised my eyebrows at him.

Yes, I have installed camera's inside our house and I have her monitor 24/7... I can't lose her.... now that she's pregnant I have to be alert mode anytime so when I couldn't monitor her my PA does it but ofcourse not private ones....!!

As I said earlier my little witch really does know how to switch it on my bad side. He gulped down when he saw my hard expressions on my face "......her friends came to your house and... and... told her everything that they knew" I clenched my jaw while pacing around "but I don't know what they knew and what they were talking about I couldn't find it out sir"

I wanted to scoff at him if only he knew he wouldn't be here right now.

"Sir...!! sir, I'm so sorry... I'll find out soon sir... I'll get information on what they were talking about...!!" His eyes widened when he saw me coming towards him in rage. He took a step backwards while I tried to control my anger.

"What else?"

He blinked several times "Huh"

I closed my eyes in frustration "What else happened there?"

"Noth- nothing sir.... Madam closed the door while her friends were talking" I nodded my head while moving inside the meeting room.

I cleared my throat to get their attention. I smiled tightly while looking at them "I have an emergency to attend immediately. As you all know my wife is pregnant she needs me now. I hope you guys understand and sorry for this. We can continue our meeting tomorrow" saying that I turned around immediately without waiting for their reply and I went to my office to collect my things as my PA followed me around.

While getting inside my car I stopped and looked at him "You don't have to follow me. I'm going home now and handle everything here... call me if it's only an emergency otherwise you know what to do" he nodded at me.

I started the engine while a thought crossed across my mind now what the fuck her useless friends want? Can't they let us live in peace? I tried really hard to seperate them I mean I just created a path and the rest was done by them. I might be overreacting but her being with someone other than me is not settling well with me.

"Urgh!" I hit the steering wheel hard as something inside me stings making my heart bleed.... And and it makes me uneasy whenever I see someone get close to my women.

She's only mine.

For heaven's sake everything was going good but they had to come and ruin it for me. I sighed deeply good thing she closed the door.

But what if she wants them back in her life?

"Urgh!!! No no no it can't be... No..!! Noo she won't"

I accelerated my car speed as I couldn't keep my mind from racing in different thoughts. I need to see her now. I clenched my jaw and I could feel myself explode in anger. Nothing can calm me down only she can calm down my raging soul. Soon I reached our home.

I stepped down from the car and ran towards the door. I have to hold her in my arms and I need her now.

"Ayla" I shouted her name while going inside but I halted midway. I clenched my jaw while looking at the scene infront of me.
