"You should have fear, for she's going to kill you."
"And who would that be?"
"Achilles' Luna and baby, she's pissed."

Iris races against time to find her mate and bring home him home while protecting her new pack and growing family. The only question is, will she break from the pressure or will she only grow stronger?
*Book 2 of Achilles series.*
****
I watched as the pack trained, determination burning in all their eyes. I rubbed my belly, resolute on bringing home my Achilles. I've cried for the past three nights, but I'm done now. I'm going to rescue him from those three pigs, free him from whatever pain they're placing on him. The anger and hatred scorched any chance of mercy, when I find them they'll be praying for death.
"Luna?"
I turned to see Reese hesitantly walking towards me. I smiled and motioned for him to sit down.
"Any ideas on where they're holding him?" I asked.
He sighed, "No, it's like they covered up their scent or something. We can't track them."
I frowned and ran my hand through my hair. Where did they take him? I bit my lip, racking my brain for any ideas on where he could be.
"We have to find him, they'll kill him." I whispered.
"I know, but they won't get that far. The whole pack is set on bringing him home alive."
"I know, it just makes me love this pack even more. I'm going to call Sadie and ask her to start questioning Catherine's friends."
"And I'll call Xander about his parents."
I nodded and turned my attention back to my pack. I winced as the baby kicked.
"Your daddy will be home soon, I promise." I whispered to our unborn son.
After a few more hours I actually had to order the pack to rest. I didn't want them to overwork themselves, that will just put them in danger. I sighed and sat down, out of breath from just walking to the kitchen.
"You need to relax."
I turned to see Achilles' mom walking in. I smiled sadly and shook my head.
"I can't." I voiced.
She frowned and gently hugged me. "I know this is hard on you, but we'll find him. Trust me, I'm not happy about someone hurting my pup. Even if he is an adult."
"I know."
But how are we going to bring him back if we don't even know where he is?
Achilles
I bit back a yelp as they smacked me with the wooden stick again. My side stung as they broke my ribs over and over again. My wolf tried healing me once, but the minute they saw my wounds healing they injected me with wolfsbane. Classic.
Catherine would torment me every single day and do disgusting things. It both disgusted me and frightened me. I hated it, every single minute of it. Tears threatened to spill each night but I held them back. I won't give them any type of satisfaction.
"That's enough." Harold snapped.
The two men stopped hitting me and stood off to the side. Harold then glared at me, annoyance evident on his face.
"I'll eventually get you to break." He growled.
"Right." I scoffed.
He walked over to me and smirked, "I can see the fear in your eyes, Alpha." He sneered.
I swallowed and glared at him, "You're a piece of shit." I snapped.
He chuckled darkly, "Tsk tsk, you should watch that mouth of your's."
I furrowed my eyebrows before two new men walked in holding silver bars that were glowing from heat. I swallowed, the scent of silver invaded my nostrils.
"Hit him." Harold ordered.
He stood back as they whacked me with the poles. I closed my eyes and bit my lip as the pain surrounded me. By the time they were done my lip was swollen and bloody from me biting it.
Harold grinned and left, once I was alone I collapsed. I hung by my hands, causing my arms to grow tired. The chains were made of silver so when I hung from them they burned more. I didn't care though, I focused all my energy on blocking the mate-bond. She can't feel this pain, she can never feel this pain. As long as I'm alive, Iris won't know what this feels like.
Tears threatened to spill as I thought of her. I'll never get to raise our child with her, I'll never be able to have a family with her. Something I've always wanted to have.
I slowly looked up as Harold walked in, a smile plastered on his face. Behind him was Margaret and Catherine. I frowned as I saw the whip in his hand. The end was completely covered with silver and small silver spikes. My heart fell as I filled with dread. Why do they want me to show signs of pain?
"We have something new for you today." Harold smiled.
Margret grinned as she walked over to me. "Oh how I'm going to enjoy this."
As the first wave of pain hit me I had to bite the inside of my cheek. I balled my hands into fists as they continued to whip me. Slashes were on my back and my chest, blood poured out of them and dripped onto the ground.
The pain got to the point where I could barely breathe. It felt as if someone was choking me with no mercy. I have no idea how long they whipped me, but by the time they were done my whole back burned.
Margaret frowned as I released a breath and fell forward. The only thing keeping me from face planting were these chains.
"We can probably take those chains off. I want to see if this Alpha has any fight left in him." Margret sounded, walking closer to me.
"Alright, I'll have Darrel come in here." Harold spoke.
I heard the click of a lock before the chains slipped and I fell. I laid on the cold ground, exhausted from the torture.
"You've been here for five days and you still haven't showed any sign of pain. Well, at least you didn't scream yet." Margret sneered.
I swallowed and looked up, "Wh-why are y-you guys doing th-this?"
"Because you killed Jason or Iris did. Either way, it's still perfect revenge. Because Iris will lose you like I lost Jason." Catherine snapped.
I glared at her, but didn't have the energy to say anything else. We all looked up as the door opened, revealing a man holding a silver knife.
He smirked as he saw me, "So this is an Alpha werewolf? Pathetic if you ask me."
"His Luna is even more pathetic." Catherine said as she watched him.
"Why isn't she here?"
"It was easier to get him, all we had to do was put nightshade into his drink. He's allergic to it, so it weakened him. Iris was surrounded by the pack, we couldn't exactly get her."
The man rolled his eyes, "You had Dustin lead him to his office. You could have done the same with the Luna."
"Well...I...she's pregnant so-
"That doesn't matter, I would have killed the unborn parasite anyway."
I growled at the way he talked about my child. He raised an eyebrow, a small smile slipping onto his face.
"A little angry, Alpha?" He mocked.
I clenched my jaw and glared at him, my anger slowly building up.
"You'll have some company soon. I took someone else that your Luna holds close to her heart." He grinned. "How is Sadie?"
I froze, he took Sadie? Harold grinned as someone dragged a frightened Sadie in. When she saw me her eyes widened with horror.
She then glared at the man, "My sister will kill you!"
"I highly doubt that, she's very pregnant, isn't she? What can she do?" The man chuckled.
"Now, Sadie here hasn't really been tortured. Just scared out of her wits, but she will be if I don't start getting answers."
"A-answers for what?" I growled.
He grinned, "How to break into your pack house of course. I still want to take that beautiful Luna of your's. Oh yeah, I saw what she looks like. Man, is she hot."
I growled and tried lunging for him, but the whip easily made me lose my balance. I slammed onto the ground, wincing from the landing.
"Now, Alpha, behave." He continued to taunt.
"Now, I want those answers."
