The man was ready to whip Achilles limp form again, but before he could I attacked him. I pinned him down as my warriors and Jay filed in. I quickly ordered Jay and Sierra to grab Sadie and get the hell out of here. I then ordered three of my warriors to grab Achilles and started heading out.
"Henry, send a SUV and fast." I mind-linked Henry before focusing on the man.
He glared at me and tried moving, but I was too strong for him. I swiftly took all of his weapons away and threw them aside. His eyes widened, fear evident as the realization that he has nothing to fight me with dawned on him.
"You hurt him." I sneered.
He swallowed before smirking, "He deserved it."
I growled loudly, but before I could snap his neck someone pulled me off. I was throw into the wall, wincing at the impact. I snapped my eyes open to see a smirking Catherine and smiling Margret and Harold. I bared my canines, on the verge of shifting.
"Well, long time no see, Iris." Catherine jeered.
I clenched my jaw, I stayed silent as I watched all three of them. My wolf was on high alert, waiting for any movement. I also watched the man behind them who picked up his silver dagger and a syringe filled with wolfsbane. I smirked though, for all of my warriors silently surrounded them. Without a second's hesitation two of them grabbed the man and knocked him out.
I opened my mouth to give them an order when Sadie came bursting through the door. "Iris, before you decide to kill them, Catherine did something horrible to Achilles." she gasped.
I narrowed my eyes at Catherine, "What did you do?"
She smirked, "Nothing, just had fun with him."
I glared at her, I really wanted to kill her now, but that would be too nice. I smiled sweetly at them, causing them to stare at me with confusion.
"Boys, kill the two assholes, but this bitch is mine. " I ordered.
In the blink of the eye they were lunging at Margret and Harold as I snatched Catherine. I dragged her by her hair, ignoring her cries and protests. I then threw her onto the ground and snarled at her. She quickly crawled to her feet, but Sierra punched her in the back of the head before she could do anything.
Catherine crumbled to the ground, whimpering as she held her head. Sierra sighed, "Came here to tell you that Achilles really needs you. He's scared." she explained.
I nodded, "Take her to the dungeons."
I hurried over to where they held Achilles against a tree, he was crying and struggling to get away from them. I knelt beside him and gently cupped his cheek. His eyes widened and he panicked even more before he saw that it was only me. His eyes watered until the tears finally broke free and ran down his face.
Jay and the other warriors gave us privacy, knowing their Alpha wouldn't want them to see him cry. I instantly pulled him close to me, running my fingers through his hair.
"Hey, shhhh, you're okay now. You're safe." I whispered.
His whole body shook with the strong sobs, mumbling that he was sorry. I frowned and looked at him, cupping his face again.
"You have nothing to be sorry for, only those bastards do." I whispered.
He shook his head, "C-clearly you're not pregnant...a-anymore...I-I'm sorry for m-missing...th-the birth."
My heart broke, I shook my head and hugged him again. I kept kissing him and rubbing his back, "It's not your fault, okay? He's healthy and pretty big for a premature baby, but he is his father's son."
He froze before looking at me, "H-he?"
I smiled, "We have a son, Achilles."
I smiled as his eyes lit up a bit and a small smile crawled onto his face, I stroked his cheek with my thumb before placing my lips on his. He tensed up a bit, but then he started kissing me back. We made-out until Jay told us we needed to leave. I helped Achilles into the SUV that Blake was driving, shockingly.
When Sadie hopped in I pulled her close to me, "I'm so happy you're not hurt as much." I whispered.
She hugged me back, "Thank you, is Henry okay? Last time I saw him his thigh..."
"He's fine." I grinned. "He's waiting for you."
Blake ended up driving one SUV while Jennifer drove the other; we made sure we had everyone before leaving. I grinned as they threw a tied up Catherine into the second SUV, she's definitely getting what's coming for her.
As we passed the factory dread filled me, this fight isn't over, I know that for sure. It just begun.
For the whole car ride Achilles clung onto me, silent tears slipped from his eyes. He eventually fell asleep only to have a nightmare and wake up again.
When we finally reached our packhouse we gently guided Achilles out. I reluctantly said goodbye to my sister before turning to get Achilles to the infirmary.
"He's not going to be the same." Melissa whispered as we waited in the waiting room.
I nodded silently, "I don't know what she did, but I have a pretty good idea."
"If she did what I think she did..." Melissa trailed off, a low growl escaping her throat.
"I'm going to have her begging for death." I snarled.
"Luna?"
We both looked up as the doctor walked out, an exhausted look on her face. I rushed over and waited for the news.
"He's going to make it, but he's very weak. We gave him pain medication and got the wolfsbane out of his system. His wolf should be strong enough to finish healing him tomorrow or tomorrow night. He is traumatized though from what that Catherine bitch did to him. Since you're his mate and you are his mother I can tell the both of you. Follow me."
We followed her through a few halls until we reached a door. We walked in to see it was an office and took a seat. She sighed as she sat at the desk.
"Catherine...she sexually harassed him. Luna, he's going to need help. Not from a therapist, but from you. You will have to reassure him that what happened is not his fault. He's already considering it cheating and I know what happens if he holds onto that guilt. It will eventually drive him mad.
I'm hoping he isn't as bad as I think, but...I'm not sure. He basically lost his dignity and it's very embarrassing for him."
I frowned, "You don't think Catherine could be..." I trailed off, not able to finish.
"We'll have to wait till tomorrow to make her take a pregnancy test. But I don't know if it got that far, from what he told me...she did it three times."
After I was able to process everything I stayed beside Achilles for the rest of the night. He would whimper here and there, but he slept for the night.
The next morning I woke up to see him curled up in a ball and crying. I sighed and went to soothe him when he scooted away from me.
"N-no." He whispered.
I furrowed my eyebrows, "Achilles, it's me."
"I-I know, but...but I-I...it's my fault." He whimpered.
My heart shattered as I watched my once joyful mate break in front of me.
"Achilles, none of this is your fault. Please, just please stop blaming yourself. I still love you and that will never change. Whatever happened, we can work through it. I know what happened, and that isn't your fault at all."
He looked at me, pain shined bright in his beautiful eyes.
"It's...ch-cheating..."
"No, it's not. Cheating is if you did it willingly, but you didn't. She forced herself on you. Please, just listen to me. You have nothing to be sorry for."
He started crying again and looked away, I sighed and rubbed his back. I then kissed his temple.
"It's not your fault, honey, please don't blame yourself. I love you, I always have and I always will." I whispered.
He shook his head, mumbling that he doesn't deserve my love. That I deserve someone stronger. I frowned and sighed, sitting in the chair beside the bed.
This is going to be a difficult journey, but I'm never going to give up on him. I will make sure he knows he's loved and that none of this is because of him.
He's one of the strongest men I've seen. He survived a whole two weeks and a half being tortured and harassed. I know this is bringing some major guilt on him, but I'm going to push him through it. He's my mate and goddess, I am not losing him.
I kissed him once more, "I love you." I whispered in his ear.
