Avery's POV.

With every ounce of strength in me, I resisted the temptation that's holding me close to him.

This is the wrong place to get cozy with my mate.

"This is my body and I fucking choose what to do with it." I muttered and it seems to have angered him because his hold on me got tighter.

"You're hurting me!" I whined.

He didn't listen to me, instead he hold me tighter and ground his arousal into me

I let out a defeated moan. Acting strong or hot headed won't solve anything now.

I need to resort to pleading my way out.

"We shouldn't be doing this here.."

I looked up at his blazing eyes.

"Doing what exactly?" His voice was pure sarcasm.

I didn't know who to blame, I can't blame Kira because she'd warned me to stay off him if I'm not willing to allow him satisfy himself.

‘Exactly, blame your silly self....though I'm enjoying this.’ Kira said and I just signed.

All these shits is my fault, I have to own up.

"We're not supposed to be doing whatever we're doing now Xander."

I could bet on the fact that my cheeks are red hot from all these.

"Sweetheart, I still can't understand you. What are we doing?" He asked again and I just wish to shout.

"Please Xander, stop being a hard spot." I begged, he's in control of the whole situation right now.

"I didn't ask you to come, you came here at your own will. Am I right or right?"

"Yes, you're right." I answered defeatedly.

"Good girl, how about you strip, I wanna see you again." His voice was full of lust, pure lust and my heart accelerated.

"You know I can't, we can be spotted." I defended myself.

"And so? You're my mate." He whispered to my ear and the hair on my back stands at attention.

Everything went crazy when his wet tongue slid into my ear, my knees buckled and I made whimpering sounds.

"Xander, please." I pleaded again.

He didn't listen, his hands went to my buttocks and he gave it a gentle squeeze. When I pleaded again, he spanked me and I kept shut.

I'm just wondering what will save me now, he's clearly out of listening ear.

He pulled back immediately and my breath hitched on my neck when I saw his eyes purely black.

"Go away!" He growled.

I flinched back but I didn't want to run away from him.

He needs me, "Xander..."

"Get out!" He ordered and I stepped back.

‘You won't help him by staying here, just let him be. This is the reason I told you to stay off him.’ Kira whined and I stepped out of his dressing room and ran outside.

I nearly collided with Leilani.

I lookes up at her and saw a confused looked on her face.

"Are you alright Luna?" She asked with a puzzle expression.

"Yes..yes I'm fine." I answered hastily.

"You don't look fine to me, come let's go out and get some fresh air into your lungs."

She dragged me outside and sat me down on a bench.

"Are you sure you're alright? You look petrified." She asked again offering me a bottle of water.

I tried to calm down, to act normal....I know I can trust Leilani but things are so complicated right now that I don't know what to do.

But I know one thing for sure, I need to stay away from Xander.

I'm hurting him too much, perhaps I should choose someone else as my training partner instead of him. Choosing him would mean getting uncomfortably close to him.

"Are you sure you're alright? You seem lost." There was worry in Leilani's voice.

I feigned a smile and nodded, "I'm fine, I'm just hungry."

It wasn't all a lie, I'm a bit hungry.

"I've not known you for long but I know that smile is down to earth fake, you don't have to share it with me but anytime you're willing to, I'm here for you."

Her calm voice soothes my aching inside.

"Thank you Leilani, now give me some food. I think I'm beginning to see double." I said with a light chuckle.

"The pack would have my head if I starve you, now dig in, specially made for you." She handed me a wrap.

"What's this?" I asked, peering at it.

"Just unwrap it already, taste it and tell me how it tastes."

I looked at her eyes and nodded.

I unwrapped it and used the fork to taste it.

"Mmmmmmmmmm" I murmured as u savor the taste of whatever I'm eating.

"What's this? I've never taste anything like it!"

True to my words, I've never taste the delicacy I'm eating, it's unique..one of a kind.

"Don't question..just eat it fast, the fight would soon start." She said with a chuckle and I obeyed, besides my tongue was already eager for another taste.

"Are you okay now?" Leilani asked me few minutes later after I was done eating every bite of the alien food.

"I'm more than okay. I actually want more, is there more?" I asked eagerly like a child.

"Of course but that's enough for today." She said with a note of finality in her voice and as always I pouted my mouth as always.

The bell rang and I quickly stood up, Leilani gave me water to wash down the food I ate and I drank hurriedly.

I was eager to watch the match, but I suddenly had a sullen face when I remember Xander.

I just hope he's fine, I shouldn't have gone to him.

‘Are you just realizing?’ Kira's voice chipped in my head.

‘Not now Kira, please.’ I said and she scuffed at me and went silent.

That wolf isn't letting me be, she's telling the truth but I don't know what keeps drawing me towards Xander.

I just want to be close to him, I can't help it but I have to learn to control my wants, I'm hurting him.

"Now give me a smile, I don't know what's bothering you but have faith in yourself and the goddess, everything will be alright." Leilani assured me and I smiled.

The girl is just everything.

"Let's go witness some action."

She dragged me and I chuckled as I followed her.

We were provided with a nice comfy seats next to the general.

"Being your personal help comes with lots of goodies, just imagine a girl like me being treated like a queen." Leilani whispered to my ears and I smiled.

"You're ccrazy."

"I know right, all these goodies are making me crazy."

"And now we introduce the best warriors of our pack." A loud voice interrupted our conversation.

There were more crowds than I expected and I let the general know.

"Everyone wants to know who will be the Luna's training partner." He explained and I oh.

It surprised me to see some pack elders...like seriously?

This is getting too dramatic.

However I'm excited and worried for Xander... I earnestly pray he's alright.

The best warriors were announced and when Xander's name was called he came out boldly.. I heaved a sigh of relief and Leilani looked at me.

"He's hot huh?" She asked.

"Huh? Hot? Who's hot?" I asked, pretending not to know what she's talking about.

"Don't give me that fake expression, I'm talking about that wolf, the one that danced with me at the party." She clarify with a laugh.

"Oh..him? He's good...just like the rest." I stuttered.

"Yeah but I don't see you drooling in the others except him."

I blushed hard, was that obvious?

Oh goodness, I need to control my lust.

"Let the battle begin!" The general's voice boomed through the arena and I chuckled when Leilani flinched at the voice.

I don't blame her, the voice is loud and it was unexpected.

"The battle have one rule, do not injure your opponent. You can knock him out but don't injure him." The general declared.

Fair enough, hand combat.

They were paired in two and they fought strategically.

I commend their skills but none of them excite me or Kira.

We're waiting for one man's fight and that's Xander's.

They only introduced six men which includes Xander, which means one of the men I ran with this morning isn't among them.

"And for the last fight today, Xavier and Xander!" The anchor announced and Kira jumped excitedly.

Crazy wolf, I was pretty excited myself.

Xander and his opponent came out and the fight began.

The fight lasted about ten good minutes but Xavier was defeated.

He was a tough opponent though, he gave Xander a tough time.

"Isn't Xander hot, he's so ravishing, I'll have him one day pinned under me while I ride him to fantasy." I heard someone say and I searched for the voice.

It was a girl and we locked eyes, she immediately bow her head but if looks could kill, she'll be six inches below by now.

The fighters that won assembled on the general's order.

"Luna Avery, you can now choose the fighter you wish to train with." The general said and I stepped down to choose whom I wanted with Leilani tagging behind me.

I already know who I want, I need the best and Xander is the best.

I need to control myself, Xander is the only one who'd train me without holding back.

He's the only one that knows about my powers, he's the best candidate for me.

I looked at all the men whose eyes were lowered.

"I choose Xander." I said aloud.

"I oppose that decsion." A voice said loud enough for the crowds to hear.

All eyes turned to look at him but I didn't.

I already know who it was.
