“All of you work in managerial positions. Why should Xia Lu and Xia Yan be lowly workers! They’re also members of the Xia family. Why are they being treated differently!” Zhou Luo said as she lay panting on the ground.

“Do they have any special skills? Do you want me to say out loud how the two of them got their results? The rest of us are older and have worked for so many years. Is there a problem with us being in managerial positions? These two kids have only just graduated and already want to be managers. Then why don’t you use your own money to start a company!” Xia You said furiously.

Zhou Luo had never seen Xia You behave like this before. Usually, Xia You would tolerate everything thrown at her. Looking at the way she behaved now, it would not be an exaggeration to call her a shrew. However, Lu Huai really liked this side of Xia You. What she was doing was protecting the people she cared about in her own way.

“This is nothing! I didn’t even ask her to compensate you for the flower pots! But she probably can’t afford it, so it’s useless to even ask. There were moments where I could have scolded her more. I feel like dragging her back to redo the whole fight,” Xia You said.

“Hahahaha, if you do it again, Auntie Zhou will probably break down! Beware that Second Aunt-in-law might give you a call tonight to scold you,” Qiao Mei reminded her.

“I’m not afraid! It is the right decision to make!” Xia You said.

Qiao Mei asked Xia You and Lu Huai to stay for dinner. She had just finished cooking when XIa He rushed in with Deng Fan, holding a big stick in her hand. Even the usually good-tempered Deng Fan looked fierce.
